My husband and I stayed at the beautiful condo for six wonderful days. The owner's are great . Their condo is very clean,nicely decorated,and exteamly quite.The master bed is very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with all the items needed for a pleasant stay.Laurie and her husband came to the condo and showed us around,she even gave us some great ideas of where to eat and play. The lady the cleans the condo was very friendly and did a great job! All the people that work there are also very nice and friendly.We felt very safe there. We plan to take our adult children there for a family vacation next year. Having ocean access we were able to scuba dive and snokle right outside of the condo's back door.The patio was also a great eating area for our meals. We give this vacation 5 stars!

My wife and I love to get back to Cozumel every couple of years and have done a few all-inclusives and hotel only stays. We have learned that being close to town is our preference due the number of outstanding favourite restaurants we keep wanting to return to. We noticed El Cantil on our last trip and thought it looked like a possibility...new, attractive, very close to town, across the street from Chedral for grocery shopping and on the water so my dive op could pick me up. Somehow we managed to get in contact with Mark and booked his place for two weeks in November/December 2011 for the two of us and, for a few days, our daughter. Bottom line...as advertised...nicely decorated, extremely spacious with two large bedrooms - each with large bathroom, comfortable furniture, well appointed kitchen complete with everything you need and...being a ground floor unit...a matter of steps to the pool and hottub. The units patio is a great place for relaxing or lounging and I could sit there and watch for Jeremy's boat every morning. We would have liked a BBQ...either as part of the patio or on common property as it would have been nice to do a little cooking with fire. Certainly having the kitchen (and grocery store acroos the street) allowed us to eat in for breakfast and lunch while still permitting us to hit all of our favourite restaurants for dinners. This does make it more cost effective for families or larger groups. The local support people...rental manager, maid...were great and reliable and we were met at the airport by Mark's rep. He does have free wi-fi and long distance and it was reasonably reliable. Given the location, the overall layout and condition of the condo, the friendly staff and a great oceanfront view we would highly recomend this place to our friends and do hope to return there again.

I have stayed at far too many hotels where people get up at 6 and put their stupid towels on the chairs so everything is gone by 9, so this was a real perk. To get into the ocean, you have to go off the boat dock, but that’s not a problem. You can either jump in or take the ladder. The snorkeling is not great off the dock, although you can see fish, but you can go to Chanukaab or other beaches for snorkeling. It was wonderful to have internet, phone to U.S. and dish TV. The grocery store, a half block away, had everything we needed and we had lots of recommendations for great restaurants.

Luxury Living --Fun in the Sun

I decided this year that I would treat my wife to the best holiday possible....instead of the standard all inclusive resort and being couped up in a hotel room, I decided to rent a condo at the Casa Caribe Azul located in the El Cantile Norte here in Cozumel.... The condo is a 2 bedroom 2 bath and I brought along my dive buddies Mike and my cousin Joel (who is our family chef and what a plus that was.....great food). The condo is situated between the 2 major grocery stores and that is very convenient. Though we didnt do much shopping and buying t-shirts, we had a good time just relaxing and decompresssing. The doorman and onsite security is excellent. Each day we got up early and had a great breakfast, made pbj sandwiches to take on our dives. My dive buddies and I were picked up from the private dock at 0900 by Deep Blue Divers while my wife relaxed by the pool. We were able to tell the dive master where we wanted to go which was a great experience..we were always back at the dock no later than 1:30 pm. I would recommend this dive operation but request that Volrath NOT be your dive master (enough said). Richardo at the dive shop is a great dive shop manager and will make your dive trip the best experience he can..... Lori and Jim are excellent condo managers and will take excellent care of all your needs.. I would have to save that the person that made our vacation a real holiday was marisa the house keeper....she came into the condo and spent no less than 3 hours cleaning and washing clothes we had laid out to be washed....I have to say (as a guy) she made my job of pleasing my wife by not having to clean the condo a blessing...thanks to the condo owners Mark and Lynn for hiring her...good job My new friend Paul....and friend of Mark and Lynn....thanks for all you did for us, I will be remembering you and everything you did for us to make this trip fun...thanks. Finally...Mark and Lynn...thanks for allowing us to stay in your home away from home...the morning ocean views and evening sunsets from the condo porch were just breath taking and we look forward to staying for a week next year, if not sooner. This is just a very quick review and I intend to make a more detailed review is the next few weeks I am making myself available to anyone wanting to have a question answered anytime......

From the time we booked our vacation until we left Mexico, there wasn’t a single problem or surprise. One of the most impressive things was that they (the Kay’s) have people available in Cozumel to assist us with anything we needed. Laurie was in contact with us before we left, sending us info. prior to the vacation, this made us feel more prepared. Jim was there to greet us, and tell us everything we needed to know. He made sure we knew how to get in touch with him if there were any problems or if we had questions. The welcome basket and beer were greatly appreciated after a long day of traveling. Besides being able to ask Jim anything, there was a handy dandy book that gave us even more info.. The kind of info. that you can’t get from travel websites. Such as: where to eat, how to use the TV, places to go and things to do, as well as maps. The cleaning lady rocked. She didn’t speak much English, but her smile made up for it. She did an awesome job cleaning everyday and did laundry for us when we asked. Even the doorman Abraham was great. He was more than happy to answer questions, he’d take our cart back to the store for us, and always greeted us with a smile. Yes I know it is their job, but I think they were truly delightful people. Then there’s the condo., OMG. We enjoyed the full kitchen. There isn’t anything better than waking up and having breakfast looking at the ocean. It was great to have the two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Our kids (17 and 14) liked having some of their own space, as did we. We were surprised by the shore diving/snorkeling. It was a good way for everyone to polish up our skills before we did our boat diving. I had a health issues while on vacation, but the location of the condo and the amenities of the condo., enabled us to still have a great time. The only bad thing is that it will be hard to stay at a hotel after being spoiled by condo..

Amazing Property

My husband and I along with another couple rented this condo for 5 days. We had an amazing time! We enjoyed ourselves immensely and can't wait to plan another trip! The condo was very comfortable, clean and the pool access was great! The photos are very accurate. The owners were very nice and the grocery service the property managers provide is awesome. Having cold refreshments when we arrived was a huge plus. Maritza was amazing - she cleaned the condo spotless everyday and having our laundry clean for the return trip was such a treat. Restaurants were very handy. We ate at a chinese restaurant downtown one night, an Italian restaurant 2 blocks down another night - both were awesome. We ate at the Lobster house our last night. We cooked steaks one night and just munched the rest of the time. The new Mega was very convenient and the other grocery store to the right of the property was handy as well. The underground parking was very convenient for the Jeep we rented. We came back very refreshed - thank you so much for sharing your home with us. I would recommend this property whole-heartedly to anyone.

I just wanted to let you know that your condo was everything and more then we expected. It was even better that the pictures on the internet! We were suprised to have local and long distance phone and appreciated the wifi. It was really spacious. And beautifully furnished. The select comfort beds were super comfortable. The view from the back deck was breath taking. We were able to watch the sun set right outside our door on the pool deck. The location was perfect. It was close enough to town. We walked to town many times. We enjoyed the square on Sunday nights with all the local musicians and artists. We walked to the ferry and took a trip to Playa Del Carmen. We felt very safe. The grocery stores were so close. They even let us push the cart across the street and one of the security people had someone return the cart! The housekeeper was absolutely wonderful, very thorough and efficient. I had fun practicing my Spanish. Adi' was very sweet. All your information you provided, led us to wonderful helpful people. Dan and Kristy logged 16 dives and went with Papa Hoggs. They came and picked them up at the El Cantill dock each morning they went. They took them to all the places they want to go and many of the places you recommended. We rented a vehicle from John. We got a jeep the first day and then decided we weren't open air jeep people and we switched to a car. He was very accommodating and even had one of his people take us to the airport for tips. He was very accommodating because we didn't want the car on the day that we had reserved it so he just waited until we need it. He even had one of his people take us to the airport for tips when it was finally time to leave. We absolutely plan on returning to Cozumel. We have also been telling our friends about your place. Thank you so much for a wonderful wonderful vacation.

What an extraordinary experience. The condo was everything promised and the beauty of the ocean and pool literally right outside our door were the best. What a relaxing vacation. I loved the fact that we were so convenient to the pool. I would have been happy to spend every minute at the condo but we did venture out for dinner every night. The condo was great and the management company and condo staff were very helpful as well. We've been to Cozumel many times and usually stay in the El Presidente. This is a much better value and we would stay there again.

We stayed at the Casa Caribe Azul from Dec. 8-13, 2009. My husband said to say “Location, Location, Location!!” Anyway, besides the location (we previously stayed 3 nights at the all inclusive Cozumel Iberostar Resort), we loved the snorkeling off the dock, the swimming pool, and the amenities offered here. The beds are great, nice furnishings, DVD collection, a safe in the closet and even the patio furniture is comfortable (had AM coffee here every AM and viewed the sunsets). Having the grocery store right across the street was handy. Mark & Lynn gave us lots of tips for restaurants but we discovered the best was “Prima” right on top of the condo building.-Excellent food and I even saw them delivering food poolside. A highlight of the trip was “swimming with the dolphins” and renting a car to go to the other side of the island. It was wonderful to return to the “Casa” away from home where ever we went. One of my favorite parts of this condo was the fact that the pool and the oceanwere right outside our door. I felt like the place came with a private pool. The sunsets were gorgeous. We hated to leave when our week was up. Definitely enjoyed being close to town for restaurants and shopping. The kitchen in the condo was equipped with everything we needed for breakfast and ofcourse we ate out on the porch every morning. Hope to come back and stay for two weeks one week is definitely too short when you find a little bit of paradise.

Luxurious – I would give it a SixThank You Mark and Lynn. We were really surprised when we walked through the door as Casa Caribe Azul was so much more than what we had expected. Your pictures are beautiful but do not do the condo justice. So roomy.Fine Linens and tasteful local artwork were just a few of the extras one does not normally expect from a vacation rental. The showers are beautiful and huge. I LOVED the bed. Neither Jim nor myself have slept on a Sleep Number mattress before. Guess what we have been out shopping for?We were really surprised when we found the laptop that you provide. What a life, goggling on the hammock.The kids loved the pool and they found all kids of marine life right in front of the condo. My husband and I visited Cozumel in February 2009. We were both stressed out and were looking for a place to totally unwind and THIS WAS IT! The location was exactly like the description and we would actually give it a 6 star rating because it was everything you could ever want in a vacation getaway. The 2 bedroom apartment was a treat with spacious rooms with a fabulous view of the ocean that we admired everyday either from the living room or from the pool. We loved the special touches in the furnishings like the exquisite Murano glass in the living room and the fully equipped kitchen. Since my husband is a chef, this was a very attractive feature. However since we are both lovers of the Mexican cuisine we also enjoyed the restaurants and night life just a short walk away. We also enjoyed the Sleep Number Beds and the hot tub. Thanks to Mark and Lynn for thinking of all the special details that made us feel so very pampered . We would recommend this beautiful accommodation to fellow stressed out travelers as a haven of tranquility and a place where you really can swim with the dolphins. We came back relaxed and happy with plans to visit again this year.

This condo is absolutely perfect for couples or family. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful condo and all the ammenities are just as pictured. Right in front of the pools and ocean is no exaggeration! Snorkeling directly in front of the condo is fabulous as is the view and sunset. Location is great with everything you need within walking distance. Laurie and Jimmie (property managers) were fantastic and were available with answers to all of our questions whenever we needed them. They even meet you at the airport and get you directly to the condo to start your vacation quickly. Thanks to owners, we enjoyed our first six pack of cervasa that was chilled and waiting for us! The free long distance to US as well as wireless internet service came in very handy. Patty, the housekeeper, keeps the place sparkling clean on a daily basis and will do your laundry if you packed light like we did. Casa Caribe Azul comes highly recommended and now we now why! We will return even though the owner is a Packer fan and we are Viking fans. He is actually a likeable Packer fan. We even watched the Viking/Packer game on the flat panel tv while sitting on the terrace. Couldn't have been better. Our two teenagers were never bored, a big plus for us, as they have plenty to do and see. Don't bother with hotels, this place is well worth the price. You'll be happy you found this gem of a place. What a great vacation. We have always stayed on the Southern end of the island near the Reef Club and didn't realize we could stay in a lovely condo on the ocean so close to town. The nine mile drive really got to us. The location of Casa Caribe Azul condo made for a great time. We loved it. The two grocery stores were very convenient. Less than a five minute walk from your door. We love exercise so we really liked walking downtown for shopping and great restaurants. Two nights we did take a cab to restaurants that are a little farther out but ended up having the driver drop us off downtown on the way back as we really came to enjoy our nightly walk. As I am not a diver I spend more time actually enjoying the essence of a condo more than my husband. We finally found a place where I felt completely relaxed, as it was evident the owners attended to the little details like fine linens and bedding that are so important to me. The artwork was so cheery and a fun mix of fine prints from the states and local artists. Hoping to re book next year so we can bring our grandson and our daughter who has just started scuba diving. This condo is absolutely perfect for couples or family. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful condo and all the ammenities are just as pictured. Right in front of the pools and ocean is no exaggeration! Snorkeling directly in front of the condo is fabulous as is the view and sunset. Location is great with everything you need within walking distance. Laurie and Jimmie (property managers) were fantastic and were available with answers to all of our questions whenever we needed them. They even meet you at the airport and get you directly to the condo to start your vacation quickly. Thanks to owners, we enjoyed our first six pack of cervasa that was chilled and waiting for us! The free long distance to US as well as wireless internet service came in very handy. Patty, the housekeeper, keeps the place sparkling clean on a daily basis and will do your laundry if you packed light like we did. Casa Caribe Azul comes highly recommended and now we now why! We will return even though the owner is a Packer fan and we are Viking fans. He is actually a likeable Packer fan. We even watched the Viking/Packer game on the flat panel tv while sitting on the terrace. Couldn't have been better. Our two teenagers were never bored, a big plus for us, as they have plenty to do and see. Don't bother with hotels, this place is well worth the price. You'll be happy you found this gem of a place. Mike and I have been in this luxury condo two times in the last two years. Our stays have been only a week each time but every minute is treasured. The managers (laurie and jimmy) are professional, helpful and great resources for ideas of places to go and things to do. The condo itself is beautifully decorated and has everything one would need or want for cooking meals or just sitting on the porch drinking cheladas and wine. The "Mexican's answer to Wal-Mart" is across the street and has everything imaginable, including 3 ATM machines with someone nearby to help if you are the least bit confused with the process. Although you can go down the coast to snorkel (Cankanaab is a great place to spend the day),we found that it was very easy to snorkel in the waters in front of the condo with easy access in and out. We also LOVE Mexican food and have found a few favorites which allow for relaxation and enjoyment. These include Pancho's Backyard which is near a wonderful shopping experience in Los Cinco Soles, La Mission (downtown) and Casa Mission (around 55th and Av. Juarez). The entire experience at Cozumel and especially Mark's Casa Caribe Azul is something you will want to do year after year. One other amenity is the fact that you are only a phone call away from reaching family in the states with no worry about the hassle of calling long-distance. In addition any questions or concerns can be immediately addressed by Laurie or Jimmie with a simple phone call. Overall we are extremely satisfied with the condo and plan to go again next year with others of our family.

Mark (the owner) and Lori & Jim (condo managers in Cozumel) were great! They really went the extra mile to answer questions and help us out in any way they could. Mark provided us with additional information about the island, getting there, places to eat. We have never rented a condo where the owner went above and beyond the basic rental. The condo is in a perfect location. Its within walking distance of both grocery stores, just minutes from downtown. You won't need a car. The condo itself is great. Plenty of room, very clean and everything we needed was there. What we loved the most was that you could go right out into the pool area from the condo and then its a very short distance to the pier where we were picked up by the dive boat. We will definitely be back.

My husband, son and I spent 10 nights at Casa Caribe Azul. We are freqent visitors to Cozumel and have stayed in several different condos. This condo is not only beautifully decorated but is VERY well equipped. There were lots of fluffy towels, dishware, glassware etc. It is very unusual to have the pleasure of staying somewhere so comfortable. There is lots of dresser and closet space, spacious rooms, great bathrooms and comfortable beds. The location can't be beat. We were able to walk to all of the shops and most of the restaurants. If you would rather, it is very easy to hail a taxi. We loved being on the first floor, just steps away from the pool and the dock to be picked up for our dives. We hope to visit Cozumel again, in the not to distant future, and would love to stay here again. The property managers Jim and Laurie were great. Jim met us at the airport and oriented us with the condo. We called them a few times with questions on local knowledge and they were very gracious and helpful. I could go on and on about how great of a stay we had, thank you Mark and Lynn for your hospitality!

What a great vacation. We have always stayed on the Southern end of the island near the Reef Club and didn't realize we could stay in a lovely condo on the ocean so close to town. The nine mile drive really got to us. The location of Casa Caribe Azul condo made for a great time. We loved it. The two grocery stores were very convenient. Less than a five minute walk from your door. We love exercise so we really liked walking downtown for shopping and great restaurants. Two nights we did take a cab to restaurants that are a little farther out but ended up having the driver drop us off downtown on the way back as we really came to enjoy our nightly walk. As I am not a diver I spend more time actually enjoying the essence of a condo more than my husband. We finally found a place where I felt completely relaxed, as it was evident the owners attended to the little details like fine linens and bedding that are so important to me. The artwork was so cheery and a fun mix of fine prints from the states and local artists. Hoping to re book next year so we can bring our grandson and our daughter who has just started scuba diving. I think my daughter and I will enjoy the fact that we can keep a watchful eye on her son swimming in the pool right from the condo patio. Thanks again. Hope to be back soon. My husband, son and I spent 10 nights at Casa Caribe Azul in September. We are frequent visitors to Cozumel and have stayed in several condos. The three of us agreed that this was the best equipped condo we have stayed in. There were lots of thick fluffy towels, and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need with lots of dishes, silverware and an endless supply of drinking glasses. If you are a veteran condo renter you know that this is unusual. We were so comfortable here. The furnishings were lovely we all slept great on the sleep number mattresses. We loved being on the first floor and the pool was just steps off of our patio. As divers we would walk off of the patio to the dock to be picked up for our dives. The location is great. We walked to the shops and most of the restaurants. If you want to taxi it is easy to hail a cab out front. Jim and Laurie the property managers were great. We called them a few times with questions or local knowledge and they were always helpful and gracious. Thank you Mark and Lynn for your hospitality. We hope to visit Cozumel again soon and would love to stay at Casa Caribe Azul again.

We are wrapping up an 8-day stay here at Casa Caribe Azul. We had a fabulous vacation, and the condo was perfect for the four of us. Larger than most condos, very clean, very safe, and very centrally located to everything. The restaurants recommended by Mark were great. We especially loved La Veranda; went back twice. And we had to take Mark up on his dare...he was right, the margaritas at La Mission Parilla were "killer" & oh so much fun!!! Good times!!! Snorkeling around the island is awesome, and their tips on the best spots were right on. Thank you, Mark & Lynn, for making it so easy. We can't wait to come back! We recently returned from spending Valentine's Day week in 2009 at Casa Caribe Azul. The experience was everything promised. We have been traveling to Mexico and staying in condos for 10 years. This unit was a little more expensive than what we usually pay, but all of the advantages make it a value. The unit is larger than most rental condos. Free phone to US, free wireless internet access (with an onsite laptop to use) and dish network TV (which we DIDN'T use)and a dvd player are all extras we are not used to. The unit had plenty of room for our 2 couples. Everything in the unit is made from first class materials and it is very clean and immaculately maintained. Check in and check out are handled quickly and easily. The location is VERY convenient. We walked into the heart of town every day - it is an easy walk. There is a huge grocery/department store (Mega) that is almost directly across the street. If you just want beer, snacks and breakfast items, you can get them there. If you want fresh fish or steaks to cook (or have cooked for you) and fresh fruit and vegetables, you can get that too. If you want something in between - say some rotisserie chicken with deli side dishes for an easy and economical meal you can (and we did) get that there too. Need suntan lotion or snorkel gear or a new hat or bathing suit? All right handy at Mega. Tips we got from Mark (the owner) about where to rent a car, good restaurants to frequent, and best places to snorkel were also most appreciated. The vacation experience at Casa Caribe Azul gets 2 thumbs up from all four of us.

We stayed at Casa Caribe Azul the week of November 7th 2009. One of my favorite parts of this condo was the fact that the pool and the ocean were right outside our door. I felt like the place came with a private pool. The sunsets were gorgeous. We hated to leave when our week was up. Definitely enjoyed being close to town for restaurants and shopping. The kitchen in the condo was equipped with everything we needed for breakfast and ofcourse we ate out on the porch every mornin The location is wonderful. Walks along the Ocean were totally relaxing. Hope to come back and stay for two weeks one week is definitely too short when you find a little bit of paradise.

My husband and I visited Cozumel in February 2009. We were both stressed out and were looking for a place to totally unwind and THIS WAS IT! The location was exactly like the description and we would actually give it a 6 star rating because it was everything you could ever want in a vacation getaway. The 2 bedroom apartment was a treat with spacious rooms with a fabulous view of the ocean that we admired everyday either from the living room or from the pool. We loved the special touches in the furnishings like the exquisite Murano glass in the living room and the fully equipped kitchen. Since my husband is a chef, this was a very attractive feature. However since we are both lovers of the Mexican cuisine we also enjoyed the restaurants and night life just a short walk away. We also enjoyed the Sleep Number Beds and the hot tub. Thanks to Mark and Lynn for thinking of all the special details that made us feel so very pampered . We would recommend this beautiful accommodation to fellow stressed out travelers as a haven of tranquility and a place where you really can swim with the dolphins. We came back relaxed and happy with plans to visit again this year.

Mark's condo at Casa Caribe Azul was perfect for us and our friends (another couple). We stayed the last week of Jan 09 and were very happy with the location and cleanliness of the condo. Mark's recommendations of things to do on the island and places to eat were great and we feel like we really were able to experience Cozumel. We walked everywhere, except to the marina for the dive boat and a jeep rental one day to tour the island. Caribbean Divers (another recommendation) did a great job of catering our 3 days of diving. Groceries and everything else you need is within 2 blocks and the maid service is superb. Tip them well and you can pack light as they will gladly help with laundry. This was a great trip and a positive change from "resort living". A very good value with the low cost of dining out or groceries. Thanks again Mark for letting us stay in your home away from home.

Our stay at Casa Caribe Azul was wonderful.We have been going to Cozumel for more than ten years to scuba dive. We have stayed at many high end hotels including, El Presidente, last year. Mark and Lynn's condo surpasses any place we've ever stayed. It has all the amenities one could ask for, including daily maid service, free long distance phone to the US, satellite television, beautiful setting, pool, etc. Additionally, the location is perfect. It is across the street from the grocery store and a short walk to town. As divers, we really appreciated the rinse tank and convenient dive pier. There isn't anything negative we could say about Casa Caribe Azul. We will definitely return next year! Thank you to Mark and Lynn, Jimmy and Laurie, and Felipe!

Casa Caribe Azul was our home away from home for the week of Apr. 15-22, 2008. It IS exactly as it is described, and BETTER! The condo is big and spacious, beautifully decorated, extremely well maintained, private, quiet and comfortable in every aspect. This is the perfect location-on the ocean (cruise ships, dive boats, dolphins), ground floor (watch the kids in the pool & don't need to pack a cooler!), walking distance to town (which we did A LOT of!) and grocery store across the street (bacon & eggs every morning!). The owners, Mark & Lynn, are a delight to work with and are always willing to provide advice & guidance to make your stay memorable. Caretakers, Laurie & Jim, are helpful and caring, providing just the right amount of attention. Our maid was so sweet and eager to please. We overcame our language barrier by using an online translation site on the laptop to converse! How convenient is that? All of the doormen are friendly and are literally, at your beck and call. This is a 5-star condo well deserving of it's rating. All of our accommodation needs were perfectly attained at Casa Caribe Azul and we are anxiously planning our next visit to our home away from home.

I spent 20 days here in summer of 2007 with my teen daughter and nephew and plan to return in 2008. The condo is new and lives up to everything Mark and Lynn said it would in the ads and then some. It was even nicer than the pictures! Local managers Jimmie and Laurie took care of our every need and provided us with a laptop and a free local cell phone to reach them anytime and responded to all our needs for help and advice. The condo phone allowed free US calls and Mark the owner was happy to answer questions and provide insight into what to do and see on the island to insure we had the best possible experience. The maid Maria kept the place spotless on a schedule we requested. You can walk to town, park a rental car in the secure garage below the condo, or rent a scooter, jeep, or car from the guys at Less Pay a few doors down day to day as you need one, or just grab a cab out front. The condo staff was superb, the pools never too crowded and most folks seemed to be owners rather than renters. The largest grocery/Costco-like store is right across the street. Dive boats pick up right out back on the condo dock daily. Snorkel right behind the condo day and night. Rinse tank and gear locker provided as was the first 6-pack of local beer! The location is superb on the edge of town, not too close, not too far out, unit is ground floor, the view is unbelievable!. We were so thrilled with our visit, the island, the people, the condo, the owners, and the managers, we hope to return again and again-a super way to enjoy Cozumel. It is not a giant complex with a crowded pool full of kids screaming Marco Polo all day and night, but more of a tropical paradise retreat where you can relax and enjoy your time in a peaceful uncrowded setting with no hassles. Some days we had the pools to ourselves, other times we shared with a small group of friendly folks. There were some small kids, some teens, but mostly adults. Lots of local tips from owners and the managers to insure you find all the island highlights just the locals know about and they steer you clear of the tourist rips. I am happy to provide references for these folks anytime-they are the best! You are welcome to contact me via the owners. I got lucky. I have been to Coz a bunch of times and have rented houses (pricey and not near the beach), stayed at a Variety of hotels and motels, and an all inclusive or two too. The cover of "Pool and Ocean just steps away" caught my eye. My stay there has caught my heart and did not make me surrender my wallet! It also should have said in the headline, "Town a stumble away". This place is clean and solid and delivers. Town really was just a few blocks down the main road. It is a 5 minute walk. It is close enough to be handy but far enough to avoid the boat crowds and day shoppers. The pool is perfect, well maintained and offers a relaxing place post dive to view the turquoise waters off Coz. I also could say it was kid friendly but there weren't any there. I hear there never are. Just as well, my sweetie and I were pretty casual about beers and smooching. The guy I rented it from was super to work with. He lives in the states but his heart and soul are rooted in the town... and his place. It is well decorated, a BEAUTIFUL kitchen area, flat screen TVs, and a ground level private porch with a couple of hammocks to while away the time and wait for the dive boat. My non diving wife enjoyed the comfortable sleep number beds, safe location and a grocery virtually across the street. My "bed hoppin' in Coz is over. Please don't rent the first week in February .. I kinda' think that should always be mine.

I spent 20 days here in summer of 2007 with my teen daughter and nephew and plan to return in 2008. The condo is new and lives up to everything Mark and Lynn said it would in the ads and then some. It was even nicer than the pictures! Local managers Jimmie and Laurie took care of our every need and provided us with a laptop and a free local cell phone to reach them anytime and responded to all our needs for help and advice. The condo phone allowed free US calls and Mark the owner was happy to answer questions and provide insight into what to do and see on the island to insure we had the best possible experience. The maid Maria kept the place spotless on a schedule we requested. You can walk to town, park a rental car in the secure garage below the condo, or rent a scooter, jeep, or car from the guys at Less Pay a few doors down day to day as you need one, or just grab a cab out front. The condo staff was superb, the pools never too crowded and most folks seemed to be owners rather than renters. The largest grocery/Costco-like store is right across the street. Dive boats pick up right out back on the condo dock daily. Snorkel right behind the condo day and night. Rinse tank and gear locker provided as was the first 6-pack of local beer! The location is superb on the edge of town, not too close, not too far out, unit is ground floor, the view is unbelievable!. We were so thrilled with our visit, the island, the people, the condo, the owners, and the managers, we hope to return again and again-a super way to enjoy Cozumel. It is not a giant complex with a crowded pool full of kids screaming Marco Polo all day and night, but more of a tropical paradise retreat where you can relax and enjoy your time in a peaceful uncrowded setting with no hassles. Some days we had the pools to ourselves, other times we shared with a small group of friendly folks. There were some small kids, some teens, but mostly adults. Lots of local tips from owners and the managers to insure you find all the island highlights just the locals know about and they steer you clear of the tourist rips. I am happy to provide references for these folks anytime-they are the best! You are welcome to contact me via the owners. We considered a number of condos, hotels and rentals before deciding on Casa Caribe Azul. We drove around and checked out the other places when we arrived there and were so happy we chose the place we did as some were too far from town, too big and crowded, or too isolated leaving you sort of stranded and dependent on the establishment for everything. This place keeps all your options open as you can cook at home, walk up to numerous great restaurants including one on the top floor of the complex, order a pizza delivered, walk to a local homestyle restaurant set up in somebody's home, go to Mark's favorite taco stand, or eat in the deli at the market right across the street. It was the right place just like Mark said it would be. Just don't book this place during the weeks I want to be there! Tom and Alyssa W.
