Take a walk through the Pasquino apartment by viewing the video. See link above.
One of the most characteristic neighborhoods of central Rome in a high quality, well furnished and maintained apartment. A special association with a nearby hotel adds a unique and very helpful dimension of concierge services, continental breakfast and the ability to leave luggage there when guests arrive early in the morning before the apartment is cleaned and ready.
The famous Piazza Navona area is one of the most sought after in historic Rome. The sites are at your doorstep and the area abounds with wonderful restaurants, winding cobblestone streets, cafes, and handy public transportation.
Location
Most famous sights in Rome are within easy walking distance. The glorious Piazza Navona is half a minute walk away. Just below is the famous Pasquino statue where, for centuries, Romans have posted political lampoons. This is just one of the "Talking Statues of Rome" which history is an interesting digression.
Exterior
The building is one apartment wide and is accessed from Via dei Leutari. Built in the 1800s, it was renovated in the last century to form three well-laid out apartments and to add an elevator. The Pasquino apartment is on the top floor for maximum light.
Interior
This centralissimo Roman apartment is laid out wonderfully for use by travelers. The "day" rooms and "night" rooms are well separated so variations in guest schedules don't disturb others.
The apartment itself sleeps up to six people with a master bedroom, second bedroom with 3 twin beds and a queen sized sofa bed in the living room.
The apartment overall has about 1000 square feet. One enters into a hallway lined with historic prints. On the right is the large eat-in kitchen and the next door leads to a spacious and light-filled living room. The beautiful dining table seats six. A grouping of sofa and love seat are placed close to the window overlooking Piazza Pasquino. There is a small television with basic Satellite TV reception that receives a few English language programs as well as wifi Internet. An independently controlled air conditioning system serves the living and dining room. The original coffered hand-painted ceilings high above are a special feature.
The master bedroom also overlooks Piazza Pasquino. It is tastefully done with golden hued fabric lined walls. The bed has a leather, padded headboard and a firm queen-sized mattress. Very pretty French antique bedside tables have reading amps. A flat screen television is mounted facing the bed (Italian channels only). This room has its own separately controlled air conditioner mounted high on the wall. Closets for this bedroom are in an entry space that also opens onto the bathroom that has a tub, (no shower), sink, toilet and bidet.
The second bedroom is the former library and has a warm glow of wood. It can sleep three in 3 single beds. One twin bed is tucked between the cabinets and feels a bit like a ship captain's bunk. The other twin bed is a trundle bed with a second bed that pulls out from underneath. This room has its own separately controlled air conditioner mounted high on the wall. The bedroom overlooks Via dei Leutari. Ample closet in this room. The second bathroom has a fully enclosed shower, sink, toilet, bidet and washing machine. The bathrooms are older but clean and functional.
The kitchen is very large for a city apartment; it has three large windows that overlook an internal courtyard. A really nice feature is the dining nook that has an L-shaped bench and a table that can seat five. The kitchen is older but clean and totally functional with refrigerator, gas range, oven, dishwasher, microwave, drip coffee maker, pots, pans, utensils and dishes.
An important distinguishing benefit of the Pasquino apartment is its association with a nearby hotel (3 minute walk) where guests can go for a daily continental breakfast, included in the rent. Guests who arrive early in the day can go to the hotel and leave their luggage there. When they return in the afternoon, after the apartment is clean and ready, they will be escorted to the apartment with assistance with their luggage, too. If your party extends beyond the number that can be accommodated in the apartment, the hotel offers good rates to apartment guests.

We enjoyed the accommodation and its location. The apartments [Florence Prisco #52284 and Rome Pasquino #135907 and] were well appointed and importantly for us the internet connection was consistently strong. The location was perfect. Well positioned walking distance to all the major attractions. I would definitely recommend Italy Perfect to a friend. The apartments are consistently excellent.

1 block from Piazza Navona and short distance from many bus routes makes this a very convenient location. Includes free breakfast at nearby hotel. We especially enjoyed walking to Campo Di Fiore to see the local produce market and to buy many gifts.

This is the second time I have stayed in one of Italy Perfect's apartments, and it was wonderful. The apartment was close to everything, even excellent restaurants and gelateries. What more could you want accept for a great place to stay, and Pasquino was a great place to stay. Pasquino is a very nice and comfortable apartment with lots of room of room to relax. After staying in two of Italy Perfect's apartments, you really can't go wrong staying with them. One thing you might want to consider when planning your trip to Rome is traveling there in the fall. Rome is hot and busy in the summer. But, the weather in the fall is excellent and the crowds are smaller.

This apartment worked beautifully for our family of five. It was more spacious and comfortable then I expected and nicely furnished. We all appreciated the wi-fi. The 2 bathrooms worked well once we figured out to make sure the hot water heater was on. The kitchen was nicely stocked with basics (tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil...). The connection to the Hotel Tiziano was a definite plus. The staff was very helpful, meeting us at the apartment, showing us how everything worked, explaining where to catch various buses for sightseeing. They let me use their computer and printer to print out our boarding passes & arranged for a taxi to the airport. It was nice to have the option of having breakfast at the hotel, although we more often just made coffee and had a light breakfast at the apartment. The location could not be better! On a cute little square that has some nice restaurants (loved the salad place) and is quite lively most evenings, 2 blocks from Piazza Navona, a 5 minute walk to Campo di Fiori. We walked everywhere except to the Borghesi Museum. Vatican was a 20-min walk. Pantheon, Forum/Coliseum, Travestere - all very walkable. ALSO: Pat at Italy Perfect gave us great advice in general about trip planning and apart from the apartment, her most important contribution to our trip was the referral to our really wonderful Vatican private guide - Cristina Bonasera. She booked a reservation (well in advance), whisked us through the museum straight to the Sistine Chapel before it filled up. She gave us lots of great information while we were looking at the frescoes. She also made us reservations for the Borghesi Gallery. The only bit of difficulty I had was when I did some laundry in the apartment washer - it took a really, really long time to get through the cycle, I was worried that something was wrong with the machine or I had done something wrong. Only later did I read Pat's reassuring notes about appliances in Italy explaining that wash cycles can run up to 2 hours & that's normal! So read Pat's notes! Also be aware that there is no dryer - so don't wait till your last day to do a wash (I did figure that out on my own!) One other note - on a couple of nights there was a bit of noise from the lively crowd at the Piazza Pasquino - although for some odd reason the square was fairly quiet by midnight on the weekend evenings. It would be a good idea to have some earplugs if you are a light sleeper - just in case....

The Pasquino flat was ideal for our family of 4. It had the space we needed to be together or go our separate ways, a necessity with boys ages 18 and 20. The flat is wonderfully located with many must see sights, charming restaurants and lively bars within walking distance. Taxis and buses are nearby too as is the very helpful hotel staff. When we first opened the door, the boys said Pasquino was perfect because it made them feel like they lived in Rome.

The Pasquino apartment is spacious, comfortable, well equiped and ideally located. Italy Perfect did an outstanding job of preparing us for this adventure. They were very responsive and their written materials answered virtually every question. Renting is our new favorite way to travel, and we would certainly use and recommend Italy Perfect. We arrived with lists of restaurants but did just as well on our own. This is a wonderful neighborhood, full of interesting restaurants, shops and great walking streets. Only one suggestions - add grab bars for the showers! The master bathtub/shower is a big step up and over. As seniors, we would have felt more secure with something to hold on to.

This was our first trip to Rome and after seeing many parts of the city, we all agreed that our apartment was in the perfect location! The apartment overlooks the Piazza Pasquino, which is bustling and charming, and the impressive and beautiful Piazza Navona is one block away. We also loved being so close to the Campo di Fiori and the Pantheon. The apartment itself did not disappoint, either - it was spacious enough for seven of us, very well designed, and clean. Even the pullout couch was comfy! The breakfast each morning at the Hotel Tiziano was a great perk and the staff of the Hotel Tiziano was very helpful during our stay.

We spent a wonderful week in this lovely apartment. Comfortable, cool, spacious and quiet, it was the perfect place to return to after the busy days exploring this lovely city. Everything we needed was there and it was perfectly clean on our arrival. We even used the Hotel Tiziano for breakfast and the staff (who manage the apartment) were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Pasquino is perfectly located, just one street away from the beautiful Piazza Navona, with a multitude amazing restaurants within a few minutes walk. We walked from the apartment to every major landmark in the old city of Rome Pat and the team at Italy Perfect made everything so easy, even to the point of organising the wonderful Stefano to collect us from the airport. What an amazing introduction to Rome - four coins went into the Trevi Fountain, so we will all return again I'm sure! Thank you to all at Italy Perfect - you will definitely be hearing from us again...

The trip was really wonderful (best we've had as a family) and the apartment was a big part of that. It was a great location and a great space for us (really more than we needed). The connection with the hotel was a big plus as we went there every morning for breakfast and the people there were very helpful and so nice! The apartment was comfortable, clean, well supplied, everything we needed (and more). All the arrangements were also right on target and extremely helpful. We used your recommended person to arrange to pick us up at the airport which was great. When we landed after the long flight I started worrying that I really didn't know what I was supposed to do or what we were getting ourselves into but then we found the driver you had suggested, and I pulled out all the materials you had sent, called the number, they immediately knew who we were, they were at the apartment within a few minutes of our arrival and the place was all ready for us (at 8am!). We immediately went to the hotel for breakfast and they greeted us so warmly and kindly we felt comfortable right away that our living situation for the next week was going to be great. The neighborhood was just PERFECT for us -- we ate in the neighborhood a couple of times (first night and last night, I think) and Larry and I found a great wine bar that we could go to right in the neighborhood so the kids could just go home. We all started thinking of it as our home very quickly! We used your list of restaurants a lot -- it was so nice to have so many choices and so much information about each place. Finally -- when we left we had the person you recommended pick us up to take us to the airport and he was very reliable and there exactly when we asked him to be (even though it was 6:30 am on Easter Sunday).

Just returned from a wonderful Roman Holiday staying at the Pasquino apartment. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable with everything we needed and, after reading some of the reviews, was more than expected. With a well equipped kitchen, plenty of linen, central heating (it was winter), comfortable bed and sofas plus cable TV, it was perfect for our stay. The cable has plenty of channels to choose from with many movie channels available in English (with a little work on the remote). Being approx ten to fifteen minutes walk to most attractions and with many restaurants to choose from the location could not be better. If you want to eat with the locals try “La Montecarlo” only a minute’s walk along Corso Vittorio Emanuele towards the Vatican. We found it to be an inexpensive local with great food and friendly staff. Thanks for all the info and help with everything Lisa, I will be using your services again and telling my friends also.
