The days when you could step out your door and walk onto white powder sand on beautiful Clearwater Beach are largely gone, giving way to towering condos where getting to the beach means an elevator ride and a security door. But if your pleasure is sand between your toes, dunes at your feet, and the sound of surf as you doze off from an idyllic day of beach lounging, then this is the place for you.
Our family built this quaint duplex over a generation ago. It sits right on beautiful Clearwater Beach, with nearly 500 feet of pure white sand between our front door and the welcoming waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Sand dunes now rise up to our second floor, growing around the sea oats that our daughters planted in front of our property years ago. So welcoming are our sands that we have sea turtles nesting in front of our property.
Wild and natural Caladesi Island is a thirty minute walk up the beach. Caladesi Island State Park is annually rated one of the top five beaches in North America because of its powder white sand, undisturbed natural habitat, abundance of wildlife, and crystal clear waters.
The Clearwater Pier and beach night life is a ten minute walk South, with its abundance of shops and restaurants. Beach activities abound here, including pier fishing, jet ski and parasailing rentals, kite flying, and local and national beach volleyball tournaments. Dolphin and island sightseeing tours leave from Clearwater Harbor, just across from the Pier. The Pier is a great place for people watching each evening as artists, street vendors, and fellow people gawkers gather together to watch the sunset.
Our property embraces the beach. Sun and ocean vistas spill into every room. Each floor is wrapped by a deep porches, allowing you to take shelter from sun or storm while soaking in the ambience of the beach. So it is virtually impossible for you to miss the sunset, no matter which room you are in.
Each bedroom has its own full bath, large closet and balcony. The Master bedroom has its own TV. There is also a third full bath with a giant shower on the second floor to allow Gulf bathers and sand castle builders to shed the salt and sand from the day's play.
Each unit is fully equipped and fully furnished for a pleasurable stay. We also have covered parking and can accommodate three cars for each unit, or two vehicles and a boat trailer. For boaters, there is a boat ramp on the Intercostal just four blocks away with room for overnight trailer and boat storage.
Many of our guests have been staying with us for years. There is no greater compliment. We look forward to sharing this rare Old Florida beach property with you and your family.

Rate Details (In US Dollars)
$1500/week peak season (Christmas holiday through Labor Day), $1200/week off peak.
$4100/month peak season, $3800/month off peak.
Rates are for double occupancy for adults. Children 16 and under
are free. A higher daily rate may apply for three or more adults.
A $300 non-refundable but applicable deposit is required for weekly rentals and
$500 for monthly rentals.

Why the Owner Chose Other Clearwater Beach Properties
Don and Gloria bought this beach property over a generation ago, and built the duplex on it in the early 80's. They did it to have a place to relax with their family and to generate some income, though with increased property taxes and insurance, it has really become a break even proposition. We keep it though because we can't bear to part with it, as much as it is part of our family tradition as anything.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The best thing is that you walk out of our units and directly onto white sand. Plus, the beach is exceptionally wide here, the sand white and deep, and the dunes more beautiful each passing year. There are no drop offs and no undertow, except in very rough weather. We like that we are about a mile up from the Pier, and about two miles from Caladesi Park, a nature preserve that is rated each year as one of the finest beaches in North America. So we can walk along the beach to festivities or walk to native Florida coastal habitat.

Lots of resturants and shops. close to the pier within walking distance and fishing from the pier. House had dishes and beach chairs available. clean lots of room.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.

If the beach is what you want, this is a fantastic place. Lots of room, close to restaurants, walk to pear, comfortable. Rent a cabana from Palm Paradise - cheaper than the others. And go to Cristino's Pizza in Clearwater - amazing pizza and gelato
