Had a wonderful time with our family at your lovely cabin. We enjoyed the mystery dinner at the restaurant just a short walk away, and nice skiing at bear. Cabin had everything we needed for an enjoyable vacation. Thanks for everything!

I rented the cabin for a retreat for a group of people and everything was amazing. The owner was super easy to work with & helpful, he made everything really simple and really went the extra mile to make the trip a success. The house itself was great, especially the game room and the hot tub. Everything was clean, neat and relatively new. The kitchen had everything you might need and more. The house was very roomy and had a wonderful fireplace. Had a great time here and hope to make it back again!

The beautiful house provided the perfect mountain escape! We enjoyed swimming all day, mostly at a nearby lake, White Pines, and then returning to the cabin to play some pool, then ending the day to ease our sore muscles in the spa. We all admired the view from the deck; during the day, the majestic pines, and in the evening the stars were amazing. The listing is accurate and the property very clean and beautiful. The owner was extremely helpful and responded quickly to any questions I had.

We had a great time at the Bearcub Chalet! We had 8 adults there and 5 kids. The kids were ages 9 on down to 3 and they had a ball at this home. No only did they love playing ping pong and foose ball, but the home had books, toys and videos galore. We were thrilled that we could WALK to the Blue Springs Resort there. The last time we rented at Blue Lake Springs, we had to drive there and being able to walk was just so great. The home was very comfortable for us all. We loved the hot tub and the deck and spent a lot of time out there playing games and visiting. It was really fun. The owner was very helpful, and answered all our questions and concerns. We would definitely rent this home again.

We had a great weekend at the Bearcub Chalet. We were visiting Arnold for a wedding and had Great Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins staying together. The cabin had everything we needed for all age groups. We would love to return and make use of the Snowflake Lodge which was easily accessible. Highly recommend!

Yes, happy we picked this one! Bearcub Chalet has it all and is well maintained to boot. Our whole extended family enjoyed our time here. How can you beat being right around the corner from Snowflake Lodge and its ammenities. Our little grandkids much enjoyed the beautiful lake there. Big Trees State Park is about 5 minutes away and not to be missed. The town of Murphys is a must visit too. Bearcub Chalet's layout and the way it is furnished worked out so well. We loved the wonderful decks, the hot tub, the well equipped game room, and much more about this comfortable home away from home. It's a winner!

Our extended family of 11 stayed at the Bear Cub Chalet this summer and had a blast! Big enough for the teens to have a "hang out" space, intimate enough so that we were able to really have a family gathering. The deck is spectacular! We spent all our evenings there. Kids loved the lake and club features, adults loved the large kitchen stocked with the stuff you really need need to make dinners. Very close to town, but we never left! Thanks for a great trip.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful cabin with our extended family. We enjoyed the view from the deck, family games, hide and seek, leisurely meals with the BQ outisde, hot tubs under the stars, time in the game room downstairs, etc. Fun places were located nearby and we all had a blast doing the zipline and cave tour. The lake was another fun spot to go as well. I think we found a yearly tradition if we can ever execute it again with everyones schedule!! I'd recommend this rental for others as it was clean and well maintained. It also was close to fun attractions. The Wymans

We had a lovely time at the Bearcub Chalet. It was clean, the kids loved the ping pong, movies, and fuzball. There was plenty of room and so close to so many wonderful adventures-Caleveras, Moaning Caverns, Zip line, Columbia, Sonora, lakes and skiing. The only thing that could've been better was the dryer. It took a long time to dry. We will do it again. Great time!!

We enjoyed all the aspects of the Bearcub Chalet from the rec room downstairs to the hot tub. Great location, well appointed for renters to navigate (everything is clearly labeled), went to caves, hiking, biking, walked the golf course, hung out at the lake. We are attached enough to Arnold that we will make it a regular stay. Have 4 kids ages 9 to 2 and they loved it. Perfect place for families. Thanks!

We had a GREAT time at the Bearcub Chalet! The house is spacious, very comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. I don't think i've ever seen such a large collection of cute little bears! They are everywhere and really give the place an amazing mountain feel. The location is great and we love it! Would readily recommend it to people

We highly recommend this home. Our family stayed here for a week this summer. We had another family join us mid-week. There was plenty of space for two families. The house was one of the cleanest rentals we've been seen and everything (down to the light switches!) was helpfully marked so there was no guess work. The location was perfect -- close to the local pool and lake and only 30 minutes from Murphys, and 30 minutes from Bear Valley. We explored caverns, went rock climbing, gold panning, swimming, and wine tasting -- plenty for the whole family to enjoy!

It was my 60th birthday, and not wanting a big fuss, we decided, sight unseen, to aim for Arnold, CA at the suggestion of my daughter-in-law. We chose the Bear Cub Chalet because it was large enough for the children and grandchildren to join us. When it started to snow on Monday night, we were very grateful for the large downstairs recreation room where the kids could hang out, play games and be entertained--since nobody had snow tires or chains!! We were pretty much "snowed in" for Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday we ventured to Calaveras Big Trees, but it was still questionable weather without personal snow gear, so we headed for lower ground at Murphys where the day was crisp and beautiful and the town charming. Back to Big Trees in the afternoon when the weather was better for a beautiful snowy hike with better shoes. Friday we went to Angel's Camp and enjoyed the most amazing museum of early California stuff. It is a MUST SEE. The kids loved it, the adults had a great time, and the staff at the museum were just thrilled to have us come. Saturday morning we finished with breakfast at Grounds in Murphys--a suggestion in the green binder! It was a good finish.

This summer, my extended family stayed for a week at the Bearcub Chalet in Arnold. We had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend this cabin for your next vacation in Arnold. The cabin is very clean and comfortable. Specific pluses of the cabin are: LOCATION (the pool and lake are very close, even the kids were able to walk there on their own, yet the cabin still feels far removed from the cars and action at the recreation facility. Lots of trees surround the cabin. SUN DIRECTION The cabin is perfectly situated to enjoy the morning sun on the deck for breakfast and the cool shade on the deck for cocktails in the evening. INFORMATION BINDERS The owners provide multiple well organized binders with information on the many activities and restaurants in the Gold Country area. My family found these binders very helpful. HOT TUB We enjoyed the hot tub very much. It is on the deck overlooking the trees and is very private. We recommend this cabin.

My extended family has spent the last three Thanksgiving holidays at the Bearcub Chalet, we've just made reservations for our fourth, and we hope to make staying at the Bearcub Chalet our Thanksgiving tradition! This wonderful cabin fits our family of nine very comfortably. The owners have done a beautiful job in offering all the comforts of home (and then some!). With the hot tub, piano, game room downstairs, television in the loft, and three very comfortable bedrooms, there is plenty of room for guests to spread out. The kitchen is very well equipped (has everything we need to prepare the Thanksgiving feast), and the living area is very comfortable, too! I would highly recommend staying at the Bearcub Chalet if you're looking for a fun and relaxing getaway!

Bear Cub Chalet has become our home away from home at Thanksgiving time. We can't say enough about the comforts and ammentities it offers us. Everything we need to make our stay special is right at our fingertips; from the pool table, to piano, to games for the kids, to stereo and kitchen neccessities, not to mention hot tub and laundry accessibility all keep us coming back. It's our favorite escape of the year! The owners obviously take great pride in what they're offering and are absolutely wonderful people to deal with.

This is a lovely house for a quick family getaway from the Bay Area. Family friendly, lots of fun things to do, pool, video, other games. Near by shopping. House is new with great furnishing. More luxurious than our own home. We find ourselves spending more time in the house than outdoors. Just perfect!
