This unique rental unit is in the heart of a local fishing town on the beautiful north side of Menorca.

Our unit is housed in what used to be a fisherman's boat house, only steps from the beach. Here you'll be surrounded by the hospitality and culture of your Menorquin neighbors, most of whom have lived on the island all their lives. Because of its choice location, sandy beach, etc., it has been a holiday resort and weekend retreat for Spanish families from other parts of Spain as well, in particular Barcelona, and now with some British families too. It has largely been undiscovered by North Americans so far. This means that it has retained the feel of Spain and created a small, friendly local community. The sandy beach is well protected and gently slopes down into the water making it ideal for children. There are a variety of restaurants and bars, including one that overlooks the harbor that serves "tapas". Na Macaret also has a bustling souvenir shop in the square, perfect for ice creams or other needs during your days at the beach.

We are approximately 20 minutes from Menorca's main town of Mahon (and the airport), about 45 minutes from Ciutadella, and within a short walk or a few minutes drive to the oceanfront tourist "urbanizations" of Coves Noves, Addaia and Arenal d'en Castell. Na Macaret's local flavor, mixed with the relaxing and carefree atmosphere of the beach, will provide any of our visitors a comfortable, fun, and memorable vacation in Menorca.
