Pueblo Bonito is a gorgeous resort right on the Pacific Ocean. Because the resort is stepped up the hillside, all the units have exciting views of the ocean. It is easy to get down to the beach for a wonderful morning or evening stroll along the exciting coastline. Plus, there are little golf carts taking you everywhere!
During the day, you have your choice of at least 3 pools, tennis, workout in the fitness room, or enjoy relaxing spa treatments. Pool side service is available all day, along with activities like pool volley ball.
We like to start our day with a walk along the beach, spend some time by the pool and then go off on an adventure. Shopping is great in town, or just a trip to the sister resort, Pueblo Bonito Rose, is fun. It is close to the famous "office" or you can rent kayaks to go out to "Lovers' Beach". You can either rent a car or take the hourly free shuttle to town.
Evenings are spent with cocktails and munchies in our suite while watching the beautiful sunset over the ocean, then dinner at one of the many fabulous restaurants at the resort or in town. A rare treat is a stop upon return to Sunset Beach's own martini bar for a nightcap!
We bought this gorgeous unit because it is on the ocean, has a comfortable king sized bed, and a luxurious bathtub with a view. The second bedroom, with its own bath has 2 double beds. There is also a queen-sized pull-out couch in the living room and a full kitchen. They say it is approximately 2000 sq ft. A fabulous patio stretches across the entire length with an incredible view of the ocean. What more could be better?
