Coupeville house description
Situated on more than 50 acres of island tranquillity with splendid views of Saratoga Passage and Mt. Baker, Willow Pond Lodge is perfect for that family reunion, company retreat or weekend getaway. Our lodge is an exceptional private residence on beautiful Whidbey Island in Puget Sound.
The property includes 4 ponds, a small lake, dense forests with meandering foot paths, open meadows, and all of it situated on high bluffs overlooking Saratoga Passage. Deer and rabbits can be seen in the meadow while eagles soar on the air currents above.
Although in rural seclusion, creature comforts are not forgotten. The fully furnished lodge is designed in a contemporary Northwest style with each room being unique. With a huge timber beam ceiling, a massive stone fireplace, and numerous windows that bring the outdoors in, Willow Pond Lodge is the essence of the best of Pacific Northwest island life.
The living room is over 1300 square foot and is divided into intimate seating areas or can be rearranged for larger gatherings. There is even a Steinway baby grand piano. The lodge has 4 bedrooms and a detached guest-house. The fully equipped kitchen is a large open space that is ideal for cooking while entertaining. The sunroom offers an expansive view of the outdoors with the warm and coziness of the indoors. There is a large outdoor deck overlooking the water.

What a wonderful property to host my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. Everyone loved the houses and my nephew enjoyed catching frogs in the ponds. We really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely return!
