Why the Owner Chose Private Homes

The beaches here are some of the prettiest I have ever seen! The clear blue water reminds me of the Carribean and people enjoy the same sort of activities - the snorkeling/scuba is awesome, fishing is great and kicking back enjoying the view never gets old.
Laguna Beach is only 5 minutes from Pier Park and 10 minutes from the heart of Panama City Beach yet is able to retain a quiet, peaceful beach with nothing getting in the way of the sand dunes and waves. A great family get away with activities to keep you as busy as you want to be!

    • 2 of my girlfriends and I just got back last Sunday and we had a FANTASTIC time! The beach cottage was most comfortable, clean, quiet....everything you could hope for. Walking distance to the beach, and very close to everything else. The dude burger at Calypso's was excellent and the Bud Light at Tootsie's was even better!! We can't wait to go back again. Thanks Nanci - you are the best.

    • Myself and two friends rented the house and we were sooo pleased with the house AND owner. When we arrived Nanci had drinks chilled and some snacks prepared so we could just start our vacation! The house is clean, comfortable and fully furnished. The walk to the beach takes maybe five minutes and the beach itself is great. Not far from Pier Park and Panama City Beach. The owner was very accommodating and friendly. I have suggested and will continue to suggest this rental to friends. I can promise you'll enjoy this place!

    • Stayed here from 4/16-4/19 for a quick birthday weekend and I could not have asked for more. My friends had reserved it as a surprise and had mentioned that it was my birthday. When we opened the door I was so surprised to see balloons and streamers up along with a little gift basket with treats and a toy for my dog. I thought it was such a thoughtful gesture and it was clear she went out of her way to make my stay special. The cottage itself is a typical Florida beach house. It has a large backyard and a screened in porch with a table. The interior was all very VERY clean. I have never stayed at a vacation home before, just hotels, so I think I was expecting it to look more lived in, so I was very pleasantly surprised to see how spotless it was. The furniture was comfortable and the kitchen was large enough to comfortably cook in. I would say it looks just like the pictures. It was about a block from the beach, like a 5 minute walk. The beach was gorgeous and pretty quiet, only a few people were around every day we went. I was also expecting it to be more secluded, but it's only about 10 minutes from Panama City Beach, so when we wanted to grab a bite to eat or go out at night it was pretty conveniently located. We actually called Nanci on Saturday for a restaurant suggestion and she was completely sweet about it and gave us some great options. Would defiantly stay here again and would recommended it to anyone who wants an affordable place on the beach!

    • Had a wonderful time this past weekend. Very short walk to the beach and a short drive to just about everywhere you need to go. Wonderful weather, great beach, and great fishing, I'm looking forward to the next time I book a trip down there.
