There are daily trips available to the Zoo, Botanical Gardens, and Mismaloya (where Elizabeth Taylor starred in The Night of the Iguana). You may choose to just mellow out for a day on Yalapa, a small fishing village and beautiful beach reachable only by water taxi from town.
For those of you who are adventuresome, there are canopy tours, horseback riding, hiking, motorized bike tours into the jungle, and a bullfight once a week close by.
For the young at heart there is a pirate ship tour complete with sword fights, lots of food, drinks and fireworks. For the lovers of Mayan history and dance, make a special evening and go on the “Rhythm of the Night” tour and have a candlelight dinner on a beach followed by a beautiful show of Mayan history and dance. And do not forget to enjoy, in the evening, many of the fireworks displays from your balcony that occur around the Bay and at the Holiday Inn.
Casa dei Sogni is located in the Hotel Zone close to El Centro, the Romantic Zone, supermarkets and shops. Why the Owner Chose Hotel Zone
We chose to by in Puerto Vallarta because it has it all. It is on the Bay of Banderas and is both a resort and city at the same time. It offers the beach, cultural activities, art galleries, whale watching, hiking, a fabulous botanical garden, and some of the finest food in all of Mexico. The people here are friendly and helpful. A visit to Puerto Vallarta is more than a vacation it is an experience.

We are located directly on the beach in a very vibrant area. We are surrounded by restaurants, supermarkets, world class cinemas, shopping, and close to Marina to take advantage of the many water activities such as whale watching. Because we are associated with the Holiday Inn, staying at Casa dei Sogni is more that just renting a condo, it is staying at a full resort complex complete with two inhouse restaurants, 2 pools, kayaks, tennis, a 15% discount at all restaurants and pool bar, room service, and poolside activities.

I am a retired school teacher from Pennsylvania. My husband and I love Mexico, particularly Puerto Vallarta, and spend 6 months of the year there. We teach English on a volunteer basis in a poor colonia near the dump and just started a free mobile library called the Vallarta Bookmobile through a charity called Compassionate Impact. We visit the outer areas where there are no libraries. My husband is a photographer and is so grateful for the many opportunities that he has such photographing the whales, the surfers at San Pancho as well as the volunteer work we do.

We stayed at Casa dei Sogni for about a week over the Christmas Holiday. The condo itself was great - very well arranged and seemed very roomy. Updated very bright and cheery The kitchen had a blender and everything we needed for a beach vacation. Every morning we sat on the balcony - the view is just as good as described if not better! You can see the entire landscape. The sunsets and sunrises are beautiful. One evening we watched a sunset beach wedding from the patio. the location is very convenient - easy walking distance to the supermarket and marina and easy access to downtown. We actually enjoyed taking the PV city buess - felt like we got a better sense of the town. It picks up at the resort and drops you off conveniently downtown, by the Malicon, romantic zone,... We found the restaurants wonderful and had many wonderful meals!!! We would definitely stay here again!!!

My husband and I stayed here for the month of April and loved every minute. Breakfast on the balcony overlooking all of Bandaras Bay, watching cruise ships come in the morning and the pirate cruises and fireworks over the city at night. Hotel staff are wonderful. Wifi works well, and the weather was perfect. You can swim in the ocean or pool, and party with the one week all inclusive guests, or not. A short trip by bus or cab, or on foot, will take you to the town center. And the owners are friendly and accommodating. Can't be beat!

Susan - your condo was wonderful. The 14th floor view was beautiful, the condo was well decorated and spotless. It had everything that we needed to make our week very enjoyable. The location is perfect to walk to restaurants, Walmart, shopping and a stroll down the beach is great. The bus stop is at the end of the road, very convenient. Beach vendors make every trip to PV a fun time and they are the best. I have been going to PV for many years and several of my favorite vendors are still there and Muffin Man! Thank you for a special week and memories made with my niece! I recommend this condo = A+

We enjoyed the magnificent sunsets while sipping cocktails from the balcony of Susan’s beautiful condo. For the whole month of January my wife and I overlooked the ocean and the sparkling pool with the swim up bar. One morning while having breakfast on the balcony, we watched as dolphins jumped and whales blew mist in the air as they surfaced, all from our beachfront condo. If you like to be close to the best restaurants and night life Puerto Vallarta has to offer then it's just a six peso ride by bus to the Malecon. Prefer the taxi then it’s less than five bucks. If you want to live the Resort Lifestyle then we recommend you look at this magnificent little jewel on the bay. Cheers! John & Laurie Mackay, Kelowna
