Our Jewel on the Gulf...is in the new, upscale, resort community of Bonita Village in Bonita Springs, FL. The central location is close to everything you will want to do while on vacation. Being only seconds to the Gulf of Mexico makes for quick beach access. This beautifully decorated condominium is designed for full time vacation living. Included are upscale appliances, a fully equipped kitchen, linens, and towels. Just like home it has tile floors, granite counters, full sized refrigerator, and in-house washer and dryer.
Both bedrooms plus the living room have their own TV and DVD player. A spacious entry terrace takes advantage of the west sun and is a peaceful area to read a book and relax. The screened lanai overlooks the Resort Pool and Chickee Hut, a fantastic place to enjoy the morning sun and afternoon shade plus the exceptional view of the waterfall, spa, beach entry pool and Island House. Be as relaxed as you want or keep up with your exercise routine in the Cybex Fitness Center. Our athletic friends think it is awesome! The BIG 5 foot TV in the Media Room makes for a nice evening with friends or family. Feel free to challenge your friends to a game of eight ball in the Billiards Room. There is nothing in the area that compares to the quality and amenities offered at Bonita Village!
All ages use the FREE Beach Shuttle which is privately operated by Bonita Village. Simply call in your request and the driver will take you to the beach and bring you back when desired. Many guests walk to the beach and then call for the driver to pick them up at a designated beach access. Also, just down the block is miniature golf, Rode’s Fresh & Fancy Seafood Restaurant, boutique shops, local watering holes, and the famous Royal Scoop! This may be Florida's best Ice Cream and one stop you won’t want to miss. There are 21 restaurants within a short walk and hundreds more within a short drive. The second largest open air mall in the U.S. is only 10 minutes north.
Outdoor activities are abundant with golf, boating, tennis, fishing, and eco tours in all directions. Locals frequent the special vacation style pubs close by and nightly hot spots in Estero, Naples and Ft. Myers which are only 15-20 minutes.
All year round people enjoy their water toys and play in the gentle surf. In the off-season rates are very reasonable and many restaurants have special prices. We are happy to guide you to our favorite eateries! Bonita Village is becoming a year round destination as there is always something for everyone to do.
"Our Season" runs from the middle of December to the end of April and normally provides average temperatures of 72 degrees. Book your stay early to insure your place at Bonita Village as it will be full. You will make many friends at The Groggy Frog. Many people spend as much time in the delightful Resort Pools as they do at the Beach. One thing is for certain, you will not be disappointed. Rarely does a day go by in our Paradise without the sun shining during part of the day!
Upon your arrival you will receive an Activities Book to guide you to a host of interesting things to accomplish during your visit. One guest told us they couldn’t do all the things listed in a year, but they would have fun trying. With small children we wanted a place that was "Kid Friendly" and a place that the children as well as we would enjoy. Bonita Village fit our criteria.
