Terrific August and September dates and rates available! Veranda #202 is a beautifully furnished condo directly on the Gulf of Mexico. Enjoy romantic sunrise to sunset views and the sounds of the surf right from our unit and balcony. Our popular location is right on the soft, white sandy beaches of Okaloosa Island and emerald waters of the Gulf. The pool area is lighted at night and adds a romantic ambiance to this special place.
On the balcony enjoy choice seating as you sip coffee to cocktails and take in the beach activities...from sun bathers to dolphins to parasailors to boaters to sandcastle designers! This popular resort area offers never ending water activities, family attractions, special events, excellent restaurants and night clubs, all within a few short minutes of the condo.
As owners of Veranda #202, we go the extra mile to please our guests so you can enjoy a high quality vacation at very reasonable prices.
Our unit comes fully equipped with attractive comfortable furnishings, internet connection in the bedroom, stackable washer and dryer, tvs, dvds, all lg. and sm. appliances. There are built-in bunks perfect for the kids, yet sturdy enough for adults. The sofa sleeper offers a comfortable additional sleep area as well. There are plenty of towels, pillows, sheets and blankets for our guests. Beach chairs and an umbrella are stored under the bunks for your use or beach service can be hired on the beach.
Although, less activity in the cooler months, our place makes a great inexpensive 'get-away' during the off season. Walks on the beach is a year round pleasure. Abundant specials are offered from local stores and restaurants, too.
Once reserved, we send you a complete reservation packet with more photos and information, along with the door code for your stay. We are a no smoking, no pet condo. See you at the beach and Veranda #202!
Sorry...we do not rent to students/those under 25 without being accompanied by adult family members. A BBQ grill is not located on the premises.

Very well equipped, clean, and comfortable condo. The distance to the beach was very short (just a small wooden walkway) and there were several chair rental/kayak/paddle board rental spots nearby. The owners were very pleasant to work with. This is one of the best rentals I've arranged through VRBO. A big part of a successful vacation is finding the right place to stay. Thanks so much for making our stay so enjoyable!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Another wonderful stay at Veranda #202. This was our 4th or 5th stay and I'm never disappointed with the unit or the view. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway. We always go after Labor Day to avoid the crowds. This condo has everything you need to enjoy the beach. I wish I could upload some of the beautiful pictures I took of the sunsets.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, romantic getaway.

What a wonderful vacation we had here at Veranda #202! Made many new friends and can't wait to return here next year for another awesome week! The condo was extremely clean and very nicely decorated. Perfect and cozy spot right on the beach..not to mention very private with easy access to the pool and short little walk and you on are the beach. Sit on the beautiful balcony and watch the kids play in the pool or watch them on the beach playing in the sand! Loved it!!!!! I can't express how much we loved this place! Thank you so much Sherry and Don for sharing it with us!! I just returned from my week long stay at this condo and I have only one complaint. Under the description of things included on the property it says grill and there wasn't one. We cooked ALL of our meals except one, so this was important to us. One other family staying asked if we'd seen a grill and said the same thing: that it listed a grill on the description.EVERYTHING else was better than I expected. The pictures don't do this condo justice. The furnishings are attractive and comfortable. The linens were so nice. The place was the cleanest that I've EVER stayed at. The kitchen was very well stocked. The pool was sparkling clean and cool. You can be sitting in your chair on the beach in two minutes or less. The view is unobstructed in both directions. The Publix grocery store is nice (their fresh baked french bread is a must) and about a quarter of a mile away. There's a wonderful little seafood market called Gulf Coast Seafood about a mile down and we bought fresh caught crab and shrimp everyday at terrific prices. We saw dolphins everyday and even rented a kayak 3 times from the little stands on the beach towards the pier. I'm so thrilled with finding this place and I can't wait to go back!Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

We loved staying at this condo. With only 9 units, you feel as if you are the only ones here. Everything we wanted to visit was within minutes of each other. The views from the condo are amazing. We woke up several mornings watching the dolphins playing. We love this condo. The owners are great people to deal with and answer questions you may have. We hope to visit here again soon.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed in this beautiful condo with awesome views of the ocean and loved it! We came with our family of four and had plenty of room. We loved this complex because it was a smaller condo complex. We will be back next spring break!!! Really enjoyed our time here! This unit was very clean and decorated very nicely. The owners are very helpful and quick to respond to your inquiries. The property was everything that you see. We had a wonderful stay . We enjoyed the beautiful sunrises and the sunsets. Some days the dolphins would swim close to shore and would jump out of the water. The condo was great. The view was incredible and the condo was QUIET. Only 9 units and we never heard a neighbor through the walls. We can't wait to come back.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

About the owner: The photo is of us...Don and Sherry Wood. Jack and Joan Mohr and Steve and Cinda Morse, all family members, are also owners of Vernada #202. We love the condo and coming to the beach. We are all world travelers and still love America the best! We often ask ourselves why we don't come to Veranda more often? Once we are here it is very hard to leave. You will probably agree!
Why the Owner Chose Veranda:
We love the beach, water sports and relaxing! This area has it! There are a lot of interesting sights and restaurants and plenty to do all year round. We often visit the condo in the early winter, Nov. or Dec. for a week or two...you might want to also. Day temps 70s/night temps 50s. What a great off season get away for budget conscious travelers!
