Less than 50 feet from the water, this is a great place if you love the beach, or just love looking at it. Baby Beach is known for its turtles (we saw one yesterday morning) and it’s quiet charm. With a large front lawn, this is a perfect place for sunbathers that want to hear the ocean but don’t want sandy toes!
Full kitchen and new appliances this is a great home for foodies or families who are looking to save.

Baby Beach I is furnished with a king bed in the master, as well as a queen and twin in the second bedroom (sleeping 5 in beds, and 7 with the convertible sofa bed). Both bedrooms have televisions, and the living room is equipped with a flat screen television and DVD player- so the kids can watch cartoons in their room and a movie can be playing in the living room! The master bathroom has a shower and the second bathroom has a shower/tub in case you have little one’s who want to take a bath. The front porch is a great place to eat dinner with views and sounds of the ocean and geckos including a large grill. Parking is available in the rear with 2 spaces in case you have older children or you’re coming on a couple’s retreat.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
We have traveled to all the Hawaiian islands realizing Kauai is our favorite! The beautiful landscape and the relaxing local charm have kept us coming back the past 20 years. We chose to purchase our homes in Poipu because the North shore of Kauai receives significantly more rain. While we enjoy the daily showers, Poipu we appreciate the sunshine! We owned a time share down the road (literally walking distance) for 10 years and we loved snorkeling, Spouting Horn, and Koloa town. We had never heard of Baby Beach before purchasing our homes but when we came to look at the houses we fell in love with the quiet beach and community off the beaten path.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We are a happy family of 5 who have been coming to Kauai every year on vacation since 1990! Our eldest son enjoys 4wheeling in the mountains, fishing and snorkeling. Our middle daughter loves hiking and kayaking along the Na'pali Coast and up Waimea River. Our youngest daughter loves tanning and reading on the front lawn, shopping and going to the beach! My husband goes snorkeling almost every day we're here (right down the road) as well as biking and walking to Spouting Horn. I enjoy the sounds of the waves while i cook and the views of the ocean from the front porch. We all love the privacy of having two bungalows so we can each do our own thing, but we especially love the quietness of baby beach.
Great place for special occasions, the food is fabulous, but a bit on the pricey side- amazing views of the water! Large lawn overlooking the water that is open to all, amazing sunset views and a fun place to watch the surfers and see sea turtles
We have snorkeled at this beach the past 20 years....although Kauai is home of incredible beaches this is our favorite place to snorkel because of its abundance of colorful fish, calm water, and proximity to the house- less than 5 minute walk from the bungalows to the water!
This natural wonder occurs water rushes under a lava shelf and bursts through a small opening at the surface. Every wave produces another spray. Spouting Horn frequently spurts salt water 50 feet into the air. The phenomina is especially exciting at sunset when the spray becomes incandescent with the colors of the rainbow. Also a great place to shop for local treasures, especially jewelry and pearls
A bit too far of a walk, but a great bike ride! Koloa town is a perfect place to buy local souvenirs, bikinis, or grab and amazing ice cream cone! Tomkat grille is a family favorite for burgers and fries- Island Soap and Candle Works is our provider for the soaps and lotions we stock for our guests
Amazing facials, massages, mani-pedi's, everytime we come the girls stop here for a spa day:-) Medi Spa is a great place for laser and other intense beauty treatments
Opened in late 2009, this new center boasts an amazing organic/health food grocery store (some members of our family are Vegan and this was a life-saver), as well as some amazing new restaurants, shops and art galleries, including a great home store called Bungalow 9- the previous owners opened this home decor shop, so be sure to stop by and say you're staying at the Bungalows:-)

My husband, two daughters (ages 3 & 5) and I spent a delightful week at Baby Beach Bungalow II at the end of October. The property was charming, well-stocked, and close to a very kid-friendly beach. It's certainly lovely to be able to see the ocean from the kitchen window (and lanai), and to hear the waves crashing on the shore from the bedrooms. The property is within a very short drive of numerous shops and restaurants. We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves and highly recommend this property.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+.

ALOHA! What a special place you have here. We love BAby beach and this side fo the island. the BEST snorkeling is by the beach house, SO MANY fish! WE have seen whales, seals, wild boar and piglets & endless Roosters! The weather has been fabulous, a little chilly but sunny:-) If you haven't met Mrs. Souza down the street, you haven't fully experienced Baby Beach! She's a trip! Best Food- Roy's and Tide-pools (Hyatt) Hope to see you next year! A Hui Hou!!!!

This bungalow has been such a delight to live in for the past week and a half. The coziness surrounds you and forces you to relax. We really appreciated all the finishing touches you put into the place. From the well equipped kitchen to the homemade soap ( yes, i went and bought more!) it was all around, the perfect getaway spot for our honeymoon. We hope to be back for one of our anniversaries!

We came to celebrate 60, Melinda- Sharon- Michelle Baby Beach was the site of our venture and the cottage served us quite well. Memories shared of days long ago when life was still all ahead. Amazing how fast it has all gone bye, the children, the homes, and the men. Soft rain as it fell in the evening , sun shining through crystal blue seas, breezes sang through the palm trees, what a wonderful place to be.
