Windward Pointe sits directly on the white sugar sand beach of the Gulf of Mexico in Orange Beach, Alabama.
Our condo has a spectacular view of the surf and sand, augmented by the sounds of the waves. With a large private balcony overlooking an outdoor pool, kiddie pool, the beach, and the waters of the Gulf, you can enjoy the Gulf and beach view while relaxing and overseeing the pools. The balcony is a real bonus in that it is as big as two rooms. The balcony is safe for toddlers and is protected from bad weather and gusty winds. The balcony can be accessed from both the master bedroom as well as the living room.
Windward Pointe is kid friendly and with much to do for everyone no matter the age. The condo has beautiful new tile floors throughout to compliment the beach decor and offers updated amenities above most condos on the Gulf Coast.
Windward Pointe also has a heated indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna which are especially nice during the cooler months. We also have a lighted tennis court and an exercise room.
It's nice to be able to walk to nearby amusement parks, shops, restaurants, and live music. The world famous Flora-Bama Lounge is located just a few miles down the road on the Alabama/Florida line.

- Orange Beach, "The GEM of the Gulf Coast", has plenty of shopping, both local and chain restaurants, golf courses, amusement & water parks, a cinema 12 plex, all located from one block to 15 minutes away. The Rivera Center has 120 factory outlet stores. Pensacola FL, is 28 miles, Mobile, AL is 48 miles. New Orleans is a 3.5 hour drive. Gambling can be found in Mississippi Casinos, which are less that 100 miles, or at the Greyhoud tracks in both Pensacola & Mobile. The Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail starts in Mobile. Gulf Shores Park is found between Gulf Shores & Orange Beach. Gulf Islands National Seashore can be explored just past Pensacola.

Found everything clean and in working order.

You get what you pay for....This condo was outdated (which we could tell from the pictures). It was not as clean as we had hoped for, but we talked to the rental company and they assured us they would check into it ASAP. The location was great and overall the property was OK. It served it's purpose for an easily accessible week on the beach!
