My girl friends and I rented this gorgeous beach view home for a few days to get away, catch up with our lives during a May midweek. The place is appointed perfectly there was nothing we needed not already there, just bring your own food and beverages. Hanging on the massive deck, looking out the top floor gorgeous windows, or relaxing on the downstairs patio in the hot tub! We were all in heaven and would go back in a splash! Great location, super beaches all around, close to Crows Nest and other famous SC locations. I was even able to work due to wireless set up! This is a special location, highly recommended for any girls trips, family or romantic getaway plans. Bring a bike! Call me, a big fan!! -c

Amazing beach house!!

My husband and I decided to get our family together for a long weekend getaway near the ocean, Wow we were not expecting such a perfect place, there were 10 of us and we were all very comfortable. The view was spectacular and the short 1 block walk to the beach was a treat every morning. The house was sparkling clean. This house was also stocked with everything from wine glasses to a complete spice drawer in the kitchen. You don't need to bring anything!! The decor was so nicely done to complement the beach house feel as well as being classy!! We will definately stay here again. CC

This is a real charmer with all the amenities. We have stayed there a few times and always try to book it when staying in Santa Cruz, The view is wonderful from the front deck. The property is very clean and well taken care of. It is located in a quiet neighborhood. You can climb down the hill at the end of the dead end street and play on the sand. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of room. It is a great place for a winter get away in bad weather because the living room and fireplace are very cozy. I have recommended this property to others. The owners are very helpful and user friendly compared to some nightmare experiences thsat we have had with property managers. Enjoy! If you get a chance wat at Cafe Cruz on Soquel---wonderful!

Really enjoyable time in a spacious home with plenty of room and comfort for sleeping as well as communal time and private time. Very child friendly and proximity to beach, boardwalk, downtown, etc. are all huge pluses. We especially liked the quiet neighborhood and removal from hustle and bustle usually associated with beach community rentals. I highly recommend this home for family or large group usage.

We've stayed here several times and it is definitely one of our favorite destinations now. It's in a perfect location where it seems to get the most sun of anywhere in the area. Our kids love the house. It's got plenty of room for them to play plus a hot tub which they also love. We love the feel of the house too. It's very "beachy" and nicely appointed. It's got a wonderful deck for after beach BBQs with great views. We'll be back for sure!

My family of five recently rented this house with another family of four. We had the best time and fit with room to spare. It is nicely decorated and very clean. Not a bunch of hodge podge that you find in so many of these family owned rentals. The walk to the beach was easy... and we lucked out with the weather. The kitchen is supplied with all the necessary cooking utensils and basic spices that made it easy to cook for our families. I also like the cable package. Definitely will rent again if we vacation in Santa Cruz!

Perfect Beach Vacation Home-Cant imagine a better place!

Our family jsut stayed at this home for the weekend, and it was absolutly perfect. We arrived late afternoon, and we walked 100 feet to the end of the street and all sat down to watch the most glorious sunset. We hadnt been there more than 10 minutes, and already we were arm in arm, sitting on the edge of the ocean and enjoying the beautiful red sky. From there it jsut kept getting better! This home is set up for big family meals with amazing views of the ocean, (loved cooking in the newly remodeled kitchen), walked down to famers market, the kids played endlessly at the beach and wore themselves out. With another family room downstairs, there was plenty of room to spread out. The decor is stunning and really has this warm, inviting, home-feel to it. None of us wanted to leave, and we hope to come back and stay again very soon.

My sisters and I wanted to get away for a weekend and spend sometime together and we choose the perfect spot! The house was not only gorgeous, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed, it was only a few steps from the beach. The location is very easily assessable and the owners made the rental process very easy. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking to spend a vacation or just a wekend in Santa Cruz. We are already trying to figure out when we can all go back again!

Eight of us stayed at this wonderful house for three nights. Time passes quickly when lounging on the beautiful patio that overlooks the ocean from a distance. What really made this a great rental were the owners' tremendous attention to detail in providing everything you can imagine (sheets, blankets, towels, stocked kitchen supplies, internet, games, etc.). The communication process was managed flawlessly. This is an excellent place in a perfect location that we highly recommend.

My daughter got married last weekend in Santa Cruz and we stayed at this wonderful house. It was fully stocked with sheets, pillows, kitchen equipment, etc. You only have to get your own food. The deck was great to sit and talk and watch the ocean. Very clean and good size. Very kid friendly, toys, pack and play etc. The only negative was that I thought sandy beach was on same street but you can't get to beach without climbing over alot of rocks. I would definitely come back again.

Owner response:The following clarifies how you can access the beach from our property. There is easy access without climbing over rocks by walking one short block to the sand. (This walk is about the length of a football field.) For those who can handle the boulders, there is direct access five doors from our house.

My family needed a place to gather that was easily accessible from airports and bay area driving locations. Beach was perfect for all with great surfing close by. The "young people" could surf each morning at Pleasure Point while grandma babysat. Perfect house for very young children, safe and fun ! Outstanding views from the deck and 4 out of 5 days were sunny. House was very clean, well-maintained and well-eqipped. Everyone loved it from ages 9 months to 68 years.

LOVELY BEACH HOME

It was a short walk to the beach where we spent most of our days. The house had beach toys, chairs, and a wagon making it easier to get all of our stuff down there. Since there is no parking for this beach, it is not that busy. We loved the dolphins which we saw daily. The kitchen was surprisingly well stocked with a nice assortment of pots, pans, baking dishes, etc. There is a bench at the end of the street. It's a great place to watch the sunset and reflect on what a beautiful place this is to celebrate a birthday and 50th wedding anniversary. We will be back!

I booked the house for a week with my family. It was such a nice break. We have stayed in Santa Cruz before, but never at a house as nice and kid friendly as this one. The beach is just a few houses down which is very convenient for quick trips back to the house, and there was plenty of space for the full family. We are already planning a trip back for next year.

My family stayed at this house over Memorial Day weekend and had a great time. We had 3 adults and 4 childern (age 5-17) with plenty of space and we never felt crowded. The house is in great shape, updated and very clean, and in a great neighborhood with a fabulous view of the water from the dining room and the deck. There is a very short walk to the beach but it is not crowded like some other beaches. We will definitely look for availability at this property again.

The house was everything our group hoped for. Our large party of 12 fit comfortably in the house with room to spare. When we arrived the place was clean and well-maintained. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishware, pots, pans, and appliances, which was perfect for our dinner parties. The house was even equipped with many games that provided much entertainment. The deck in the front and the patio in the back were great for lounging. Parking was not a problem due to the huge driveway. The house was steps away from the beach and close enough to downtown Santa Cruz. I wholeheartedly recommend this rental for people looking for a perfect, relaxing weekend in Santa Cruz (or even stay a week!).

This house is really nice and huge! It's a short walk down the street to the beach and has large furnished outdoor sitting areas (deck in front and patio with hot tub in back). The kitchen and common areas are large, comfortable and nicely decorated. The kitchen has a lot of utensils, appliances, and even some condiments, teas, etc. You could definitely just buy some groceries and stay in for meals. The showers upstairs and downstairs are big and have cool rain-type shower heads. The hot tub was an awesome way to end the day. Those are just some of the highlights. Overall, this house was really comfortable and nice, I would absolutely recommend it.

We rented the house for 3 nights and had an excellent experience. The owner took the time to answer all of our many questions thoroughly. The quality of service she provided was definitely a highlight of our experience. We also appreciated seeing the rooms in the pictures and the virtual tour beforehand. The house was spacious, very clean, beautifully decorated, and also had all the amenities we needed, from wi-fi and great kitchen gadgets, to easy access to the beach and a wonderful deck to hang out on. The house also came with sheets, towels and all other necessities. The nearby beach was fabulous for laying out or throwing a ball, and on one morning walk we saw an otter playing in the water (we were told that a family of otters have lived there for 30 years). We went out in Santa Cruz and Capitola many times and everything was easily accessible within a 15 min drive. I would recommend this house without any reservations to anyone, and would definitely love to stay there next time we're in the area.

We just returned from a fabulous stay at this wonderful “Beach House”. The location was excellent: so close to the sand we enjoyed the ocean view as we bar-b-qued on the balcony. We rode our bikes into Capitola one morning and to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk the next morning. A short drive south took us to Monterey and Carmel. The house is close to many good restaurants. Our teens played beach volleyball and my husband and I had a ritual evening date at the hot tub located in the backyard. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities and groceries are nearby. Beautifully decorated with a “Beach” theme made it comfortable yet upscale. A toasty fireplace made for cozy evenings and the large dining room table was perfect for playing family games. Easy beach access in a quiet, safe and friendly neighborhood. We were sad to have to leave our perfect little spot. We would highly recommend this home…just not during the week we want to return! Many thanks to the easy to work with owners who have thought of everything.

This was such a beautiful home - so beautiful that I couldn't believe they would want to rent it! The listing description and photos don't do this home justice. It's so much more in person! The attention to detail and comfort was amazing. The way the house is laid out made it perfect for our group. Having the bedrooms far from the common area, as well as doors to close off the common area to minimize noise, is perfect for those who like to go to bed early &/or sleep in late. The location was perfect - super quiet street with a breath taking view from the balcony and a short drive to shopping in Capitola. The owner was so helpful and easy to work with. She was most accommodating! We would definitely come back in a heartbeat!

The house was very clean, well stocked, and beautifully decorated. Excellently set up for kids. We have 2 small kids who need separate rooms for sleeping and protection from stairs - the pocket doors at the top of the stairs and between the living space and bedrooms were perfect. All of the toys and beach accessories were provided and in good shape. The neighbors were very friendly also - we met many! We plan to stay here again when we get the chance!

I just stayed at this wonderful beach home and it is now the only place I will rent at the beach. The views are amazing and just steps from the beach. When we arrived we walk down to the bench in front of the ocean and a dozen dolphins were right there! The home is perfect for a group or a large family. There are two seperate family rooms that are huge. The photo's don't do this home justice. The deck is amazing and the home is perfect for entertaining. I can't wait to rent it again.

This is a wonderfull vacation home and are so happy to be able to enjoy it. Our family has spent the last few years renting this home and will continue to do so. Location is outstanding, the house is very comfortable, it offers everything we need and more. Our family trips have included 3 generations in one house and this has been perfect for that. The pictures do not do it justice. A huge plus is the large deck and view from it, as well as the quick walk to the gorgeous beach. We could not have asked for a better vacation. The house is absolutely amazing and incredibly clean. We had never realized how convenient it is to have access to what felt like a private beach. Being just minutes on foot away from the water made for a perfect walk back to the house for lunch and the restrooms. We are already planning a return trip.

What an amazing beachhouse!!! Beautifully appointed and recently completely remodeled beach house that is both accomodating to large families or several couples. It is just steps from the beach. We have stayed in a couple houses in the Santa Cruz area, but will only be staying here now!

We loved, loved, loved this comfortable beach house. Of course the weather was just beautiful!! It easily accommodated us (2), our kids (3) and grandkids (3) over a long weekend. In addition to the easy access to the beach, it was nice to have a secure yard for other fun activities with the kids.

WE LOVE THIS HOUSE! It's perfect for our family. Beautiful location, great layout, nice kitchen and bathrooms, large deck with a view for drinks and hors d'oeuvres after long day at the beach. Love the nice new hot tub too! We'll be definitely be back!

What a great house! It is more beautiful than the pictures show and the location is great. We loved the oceanview and spent most of our time on the large deck. It is only a short block to the beach so we could go back and forth all day long. Will definitely rent this place again and again.
