We had a very nice time while staying at this property. The property is in a perfect location (a little hard to find but keep going until the end of the street) with a beautiful lot and nice boat dock and jet ski "lilly pads" for 2 ski's. There are 4 bedrooms and sleeps 8 comfortably with upstairs and downstairs kitchens and bathroom. The furniture is very comfortable and the internet connections works very well. I intend to rent this place again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

June Family Vacation

This lake house has enormous potential with a great view and fabulous dock. Perhaps the owners have addressed the issues of their rental by now, but we experienced a VRBO with the smell of mildew permeating everything, dirty bathrooms, dirty appliances, and dirty floors. The furnishings need routine maintenance including fixing broken furniture, replacing light bulbs, repairing the gas grill, and replacing worn bedding. If this house were clean, odor-free and cared for, it would be a nice VRBO.Owner response: We have addressed the issues mentioned in the June 8,2012 review. A roof leak resulted in the mildew issue, and the leak has been repaired. We had engaged a new cleaning crew, which unfortunately was not up to the task and did not clean adequately. We have now engaged a much better cleaning crew. We are confident that you will enjoy our home.

Our family rented this wonderful vacation home for a week during the summer and we really enjoyed our stay. The house offers a nice view of the lake and has a short walk to the new dock with a party deck on top. You can sit out on the dock for hours on the reclining lounge chairs and really enjoy the lake. The house offers many amenities to make you comfortable. Four bedrooms and three bathrooms is large enough to accommodate a big group of people. We had 10 people in our group and had plenty of room. The family room is gorgeous and has two couches where you can sit and enjoy the beauty of the lake. We loved the screened in porch and the deck which has enough furniture so you can eat meals outside on either one comfortably. The kitchen opens to the family room so you can cook and still be with your family and friends. This home is a wonderful place to be on Lake Lanier. Thanks again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

My husband and I spent 3 ½ months this past winter in this beautiful place with a spectacular view of the lake. It has everything you need to have a great time. The accommodations were wonderful and very peaceful. You can sit by the fire and enjoy a book or watch TV. There is even a swing to sit on while you have a glass of ice tea and enjoy the view. If you have children it is convenient to many fabulous places that they will love. One of the things we did with our grandchildren was a 20 minute trip to the Interactive Neighborhood for Kids in Gainesville, Georgia. After playing there for 4 hours we had to bribe them to leave. We took a 30 minute trip to the quaint little town of Dahlonega where they have wonderful little shops and restaurants. Nearby is the Consolidated Gold Mine where you can pan for gold and take a guided tour down into the mine. Another area to explore is Helen, Georgia where they have a working water powered flour mill and a re-creation of a beautiful Alpine Village. Anyone who stays in the area must visit the Atlanta Aquarium or the Atlanta Zoo, which is about an hour away. This place is centrally located near major shopping areas i.e. North Georgia Premium Outlets, and the Great Mall of Georgia. For dinner if you’re not grilling steaks or hotdogs you can order out at Big D’s Barbeque on the corner of Hwy 53 East & Ga. 400. It has yummy southern barbeque. We love fishing and this was the place to be. My husband caught many catfish, bass and a few stripers off the dock. One striper was a whopping 21 pounds and 38 inches long. We observed many local fishermen fishing in the area. We were also happy that Hammonds Fishing Center was close by for bait and tackle. I don’t think you will be disappointed if you stay here. Communication with the owner was great.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
