  Our boys (10 mos., 3 & 4yrs.) loved how close the beach was (took less than 5 minutes to walk). The house was perfect for us, It was spacious and we were pleasantly surprised by the new wood floors throughout the house too! The beds are comfortable and there were plenty of towels, blankets and linens. The kitchen is great, roomy, but wasn't quite as stocked as I was expecting, but we made do and all was well! There is NO playground across the street,but the tennis courts have been re-done! We enjoyed our stay and would come back! Thank you for opening your home for us to stay!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

  Our vacation was so fun! Waldport is perfectly located, close to Newport's Historic Bayfront, Lincoln City's Outlet Mall, and tourist attractions along the coast; such as The Sea Lion Caves, and Cape Perpetua. Our family enjoyed this clean little house, and the short walk to the beach. Everything necessary was provided. All we took were clothes and food. Thanks so much for your home, and we hope to stay there again!

  We stayed here for an extended weekend. The house is very relaxing and comfortable. It is well furnished and has a very nice kitchen to cook in. We totally enjoyed the short walk to the beach and the local restaurants. It is very close to local attractions, including a hiking route to a lighthouse. It was very hard to go home and leave the ocean.

  My wife and I stayed here for more than a week and had a VERY hard time leaving. The house is great and the scenery even better! It was wonderful to sleep with the windows open and hear the ocean all night long. We especially enjoyed being near the beach and even donated a couple of beach chairs to the house for everyone’s use. The location is also great for the easy access it provides to lighthouses, unique seaside towns and of course a wealth of different seafood restaurants! (We highly recommend Local Ocean Seafood in nearby Newport.)In short, you won’t go wrong staying here. The property is nice and the location is perfect for getting away from it all!

  the family has rented this house twice now and both times have been absolutely wonderful. Never had any problems and always clean as a whistle. Completely stocked with everything you might need including games for the kids. Easy access to the beach and town. we look forward to renting again and again.
