Four Bedroom ,Three Bath Home in the Dollar Point area with Panoramic Lake and Mountain Views. The House Sleeps 10 People Perfectly; but there are enough beds for 12 if the 'Hide-a-Bed' sofa is used downstairs. We also have a toddler mattress and porta-crib for those with small children to use in the Master Suite. I've been told by previous renters that the difference between our house and others is that our house is not a sterile rental house. It was and still is a Family Vacation Home that is Cozy and Welcoming.
The Master Bedroom has a King Size Bed with Attached Bath. The Upstairs Guest Bedroom also has a King Size Bed with Adjacent Bath. The Downstairs Guest Room has a Queen Size Bed and the Last Guest Room Features 3 beds!
There is a Downstairs Family/Kids Room with a Day Bed and a Pull-Out Full Size 'Hide-a-Bed!' This Family/Kid's Room also has cable TV, DVD/MP3 player, Nintendo64 and Wireless DSL.
The Home Features a Fully Stocked Kitchen with New Appliances and Cabinets. The Upstairs Great Room Features a Dining Room Table for Eight, Huge Gas Wood Burning Fireplace with included Firewood, Large Cable TV,Indoor Waterfall and Awesome Lake Views!
There is a 2 car garage and parking for at least 4 more cars in the flat driveway. There are two large decks and a Gas BBQ. The house is 2 miles from Tahoe City, a 5 minute drive, 15 minutes to ride a bike and 30 minutes walking. A short walk through the woods gets you to a community pier and beach. Two minute residential drive to one of the nicest boat launches on Lake Tahoe. There are four major ski resorts nearby: Squaw is 10.3 miles/19 minutes, Alpine Meadows is 9.7 miles/17 minutes, Northstar is 12.8 miles/20 minutes and Homewood is 9.1 miles/18 minutes.
Dogs will be considered on a case by case basis. No bachelor parties. This House is NOT part of the Dollar Point Association.

We were a group of 11 people - 9 adults and two children - and we stayed at the house in March 2013 for a weekend skiing trip at Homewood. The place was clean and had everything we needed; everyone was able to sleep on a bed, though there were extra floor space and nice sofa if we had some last-minute additions. The best part of the house, besides the nice typical rustic interior, is the view out of the large living windows and on the deck. We had a great time there and the only snag was, for a few hours, the water heater ceased to work; however, when we called the owner Ted, he was quickly to respond and offered to call a plumber if the problem persists. Luckily the heater went back to work and we had no problems after that. Overall, it was a great time and the owner was helpful when we had problems - we will definitely go back again!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

My friends and I had a great time staying at this Dollar Point property. The house is spacious, well-equipped and well decorated and the location is amazing, minutes from the resorts, with an unbeatable view of the Lake. Owners can be a bit hard to contact, but an otherwise 5* rental.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Great neighborhood, beautiful views of the lake! House is very nice and cozy with lots of room to relax. Views from just about every room! Kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Wonderful deck with plenty of seating. This is a great house- perfect for families. Good location - close to Tahoe City, bike trails, hiking trails, shopping and dining. Listing photos don't do it justice, house is really nice!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children.
