My family stayed here for a week and had a fabulous time. The unit was clean and well equipped. Fred was great to deal with in renting the unit. It was a great deal for the amenities included.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This guest was inaccurate to which unit she was staying in. The unit she is referring to was similar but with different furnishings. My cleaning people take inventory after each checkout or departure; she found 3 towels were missing after the guest had departed. It was not a major issue; however, we did contact her to maybe help my cleaning girl find them; my cleaning girl asked her to maybe just "check the kids luggage" to see if they were put there by mistake. The guest did purchase 3 more towels and we ask that she doesn't call our towels "rags", as they were just purchased in May. As far as the Palmetto bugs are concerned, each unit is sprayed once a month. The carpet did have small stains, however, this is due to a heavy turnover this summer. I'm sorry she got so aggetated, but like I said, this was not a major issue. She just took it personally. The property was not as advertised. The living room furniture and the carpet are dirty; we found roaches about 2 inch long, two nights in a row. It needs a rug outside on the deck, all dirt and wood chips are brought inside. The beds are not queen size, they are 2 double beds.The kitchen is extremely small. Be careful and do an inventory upon arrival, we had not count the towels, and were accused by the cleaning lady (Joanne) of taking three towels. I turned around and purchased three bath towels and met with Fred and gave them to him. It was very embarrassing. I never take a penny from anyone, and was accused of taking three rags. About the owner: Hello! My name is Fred Schmitz. I moved to Hilton Head from Cincinnati, Ohio back in 1985. I have been an owner in Seascape Villas since 1979. I have been renting my own condos since 1981. Call me if you would like to hear more about this wonderful island!
