Your next vacation at the "Atlantic View Cottage" is located on scenic Atlantic Avenue, the oceanfront street in Kure Beach. The cottage provides home-like comfort and is tastefully decorated with a nautical theme throughout. Maximum occupancy for up to 7 people with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, dining and living areas and a fully furnished kitchen.
The cottage has great views of the beautiful Atlantic Ocean that can be seen from all rooms in the cottage. For the beach lovers, the oceanfront is just a few steps from the front of our property and across the protected dunes crosswalk. For a more relaxed vacation experience, our guests can sit on the ground level deck and read a favorite book, use our WI-FI internet to communicate with friends, or just "chill out" with the cool ocean breeze and rolling surf sounds in the background.
The cottage is located toward the rear of our "L" shaped lot which provides a safe and large yard along the oceanfront for kids to play and other family fun. An adjacent cottage can also be seen toward the oceanfront.
PROVIDED FREE FOR OUR GUESTS USE:
1. Fresh bed linens and bath towels are furnished in all bedrooms and bathrooms at no extra cost to our guests.
2. Free "Necessity items" such as paper and cleaning supplies are provided for our guests convenience.
3. Gas Grill and Picnic Table are provided for guests use and are located on the cottage lawn adjacent to the deck.
4. Free on-site WI-FI Internet is provided for our guests convience and use.
5. The cottage has an outside shower for our guests convenience and we encourage its use when returning from the sandy beach oceanfront.
COTTAGE RULES:
1. The AVC is a SMOKE FREE ENVIRONMENT, therefore smoking is not permitted inside the cottage at any time.
2. We have a strict NO PET policy, therefore pets are not permitted on any AVC premises.
3. Children are welcome, however we do not have accommodations for toddlers, therefore we cannot accept a reservation with children less than age 5 yrs.
NOTES:
1. We do not charge departure cleaning fees, however guests are requested to remove all trash and their personal items when they exit the cottage.
2. When comparing our rental rates to others, make sure you inquire about any hidden and extra fees for bed linens, bath towels, departure cleaning fees, "necessity paper & cleaning products", gas grill availability, etc. Many others require security deposits, we do not for USA residents. All these items are included at no extra charge for our guests at the Atlantic view Cottage.
COTTAGE DETAIL DESCRIPTION:
The 1st floor includes the master bedroom suite (queen bed and a convertible twin size sofa bed) is located just off the cottage main entry hallway. The master bedroom suite also includes a full bathroom and mini-kitchen equipped with a bar sink, full size refrigerator, and small appliances + a laundry washer/dryer + Cable TV & DVD. The master bedroom suite has ocean views, and a 2nd private side door entrance leading to the ground level deck when extra quiet or privacy for parents, grandparents, etc. are desirable.
The cottage 2nd floor has 2 bedrooms, both with ocean views (a queen bed in one bedroom and 2 twin beds in the other); a full bathroom and laundry washer/dryer. Flat screen LCD TV's provided in both bedrooms. Access to the 2nd floor is provided by the stairway leading off the hallway of the main cottage entrance.
The cottage 3rd floor features the kitchen, dining and living areas that's designed as an open floor plan; so no one will feel left out of any family activities. The kitchen is well equipped with lots of cabinets, modern appliances and serving utinsels. The 3rd floor also includes a conveniently located 1/2 bath. Large 32" LCD flat screen cable TV & VCR/DVD in living area. Access to the 3rd floor is provided by the stairway leading off the 2nd floor hallway.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Absolutely amazing! We have rented beach homes many times, but have never been more pleased than this past week at yours….what a treasure! Beautiful and immaculate, great layout with the fully functional master suite, each and every room very thoughtfully and well appointed – the only beach rental that has ever made us feel so totally “at home”. The views from upstairs were awesome - even with the new home being built in front (you’ll be glad to know that the construction team was quiet, polite, and never intrusive) The ground floor deck was wonderful for cooking out and enjoying the evening beach breezes. Love that it’s situated off the main road – no traffic or the noise that comes with it! With the boardwalk it’s just steps to the beautiful, clean beach or up to the pier area. This was our first rental here and my search is definitely over - I don't want to ever go anywhere else! A huge thanks to the owners for being so easy to communicate with and so accommodating, but most of all for providing us with such a beautiful, amazing home and a “little piece of Heaven at Kure Beach"!

Very comfortable place, neat and clean. Kure Beach is a great family beach and in close proximity to Wilmington. However, I would have liked to have known of construction directly in front of the rental before making my decision on this property. Vacation is for sleeping in at least past your normal waking hour. We awoke to sounds of painters at 7 am....not so relaxing. VRBO should make sure these annoyances are listed before renting properties. After a great, but long day in Wilmington on the 4th of July, we were looking forward to a lazy morning....guess I'll sleep on the beach.
Owner response:After reading our guest's comments, we immediately contacted the Kure Beach Building Inspector/Code Inforcement Officer. The Building Inspector was very sympathic to our guest's complaint and said he would ask the contractor to refrain from using loud equipment for the first hour or so at the start of the work day. We are also sensitive to construction anoyances, but recognize that new construction is necessary and existing buildings need repairs especially in prime vacation locations.

The house was immaculate and extremely well equipped. The best I have stayed in for cleanliness and kitchen equipment. Owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The property is spacious and the ground floor facilities (with mini kitchentte and full fridge) meant that we could escape from Granny and the kids who were upstairs (equally great if you are taking another couple who might want some privacy and independance from the rest of the household!) The house is extremely well situated for the beach and a very short walk to the Pier and restaurants. No problem parking and a great grass area for the children to play safely. The only disappointment was the amazing view of the Atlantic was spoiled by the building in progress of a 3 story beach house in front. I'm amazed that the house in front was allowed planning permission! You can still see the beach and the sea from the corner windows.

That is “The cottage must be CLEAN, well equipped, and with attention to family comfort; as if WE were going to be the next guest.” The cottage is located at the rear of our “L” shaped oceanfront lot, with the advantages of having a large grassy yard along the oceanfront for safe family play, games and ample off-street parking as acknowledged by this guest. The beautiful Atlantic Ocean can be seen from every room in the cottage and the view from the 3rd floor windows is especially great as noted in our VRBO photos.

We enjoyed our stay at Atlantic View Cottage again. The cottage is great place to stay, has a great view from the top floor, and right across from the beach! It was exactly as the photos showed, and was very clean and neat Close enough to restaurants and attractions to walk, yet still peaceful. We have stayed 3 years in a row and hope to return again next year.

My first impression upon arrival was what a clean rental. Everything was there the owners promised and the house is well appointed and well situated. 4 adults and 3 children slept there comfortably. Fantastic view of the sunrise over the Atlantic, indoors or out. Kure Beach is a charming town with several restaurants within walking distance. We would rent from this owner again without trepidation.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Atlantic View Cottage.The cottage is nicely decorated,and steps to the beach! We appreciated the little extras,such as not having to run out and buy paper products upon arrival,and well equipped kitchen areas. Beautiful ocean view,close enough to many attractions yet still quiet area to stay. Hope to return in two years!
