Chicxulub is an small fishing village beyond Progreso Beach, it is located just at 20 minutes from Merida, Mex. Which has an international airport.
Chicxulub is a quiet place, where you can enjoy the nature and the sea in a complete relax, but you may also have a good time in down town where there are activities in the square on weekends. Or you can enjoy the wild life by taking a walk on the sand and watching the flamingos, sea turtles, seagulls, etc.
The apartment is in the ground floor, in front of the swimming pool and just surround the common area where you can take the sun or fix a nice meal in the grill.
The apartment has a living room-dinning room, 3 rooms and 2 baths, one terrace in front the pool and an open back yard where you can wash and dry clothes.
At Chicxulub,the ocean is very calm, there are no high waves, so you can swim, sail or practice your water skiing.The weather in winter is fabulous. We have sunny days and temperatures between 18-25 C degrees.Most people come here in winter.
The condo is near from the town, where you can go walking, on a bicycle or bus. There are good restaurants and some shops, drugstore, Internet , and liquors store.
Progreso town is 8 minutes by car or bus from Chicxulub.At Progreso you will go to supermarkets for food, cinemas, Internet places, buy handcrafts or see cruises arriving the port.
You can also go to Merida, where you can find good restaurants, malls, golf clubs, cinemas, or you can go to Chichen Itza or Uxmal, which are a Mayan ruins.The farest place is 2 hours from Mèrida.

Flying from Miami: 1.5 hour; from Mexico City: 1.5 hour; from CanCun: 1 hour.
Driving from CanCun : 3.5 hour by Toll Road.
Transportation to comming from the airport : TAXI
Transportation until Progreso, Chicxulub, Telchac or Merida: BUS or TAXI.
