Downstairs is a second large livingroom area with two futons and an entertainment center; also an additional bedroom with queen bed, a bathroom and steam sauna.

- During the winter, there are a number of opportunities including the following; Leavenworth Ski Hill, the Fish Hatchery and at few other courses for Nordic skiing and a bit of Downhill. Nearby is both Stevens Pass and Mission Ridge for the more athletically inclined Downhill skiers or the adventurous Nordic. There are a number of sledding hills, two of which have rope tows - and there is also a perfect sledding run down our backyard hill; snowshoeing trails, and sleigh rides. In the summertime there are rafting tours and runs, kayak rentals, rock climbing, and day hikes. Leavenworth is very recreationally-orientated! The Bavarian-themed town also hosts a large number of festivals throughout the year, available to see at http://www.leavenworth.org

Sun-Wed: $400 per night for 1-10 guests/$450 for 11-14 guests.
Thur-Sat: $450 per night for 1-10 guests/$500 for 11-14 guests.
HIGH SEASON: May 26-Sept 5 and Dec 15-Jan 2 *Min 3 nights or $200 cleaning fee.
Sun-Wed: $600 per night for 1-10 guests/$650 for 11-14 guests.
Thurs-Sat: $650 per night for 1-10 guests/$700 for 11-14 guests.

Great place for a large family

My family has gone to Leavenworth for the past 5 years and have stayed at a couple places. This one is by far our favorite, it is comfortably big enough for our whole family (10 people), nice inside, great views, very clean, and has an all around wonderful atmosphere. We have stayed there twice now, and have already booked our third stay for Christmas this year. One thing to consider for anyone that is not familiar with Leavenworth is that this house is not within walking distance of the downtown area, only a 3 minute drive though, and worth it for such a great place.

Very relaxing, beautiful scenery. The seclusion of the area made for a very calm and relaxed vacation. Our youngest child enjoyed the hot tub, our middle child liked the view of the river, and our oldest enjoyed the open spaces and freedom to walk around the area. Mom and Dad enjoyed the quiet, river rafters, and watching trains go by. Thanks for sharing your wonderful place with our family.

What a beautiful house! We had a wonderful Christmas here and the house made it that much better. All 12 of us fit perfectly and comfortably. The sledding run was so much fun, but after a couple of runs, an elevator would have been nice! We used an air mattress and it worked awesome! Loved being surrounded by such beautiful views. The wood stove was lovely to sit around at night, although some of our 'cavemen' had a hard time starting it - haha! The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of blankets to keep us warm :)... Oh, and the heated floors... AMAZING! Thanks for the fabulous vacation, hope we come again!

The whole family had a wonderful stay. What a beautiful house. We had room for all 12 of us. The kitchen was a wonderful place to cook all our meals together. We even baked Christmas cookies. The snow was great with plenty of time for sledding and even building a snowman. The grandkids played for hours and it was great being able to play in the snow and come in to warm cider and cocoa. We hope we will be able to stay again at this beautiful home. Thanks so much!

My husband slept so well in the master bed. It was so comfortable! We loved the views and heated floors and surround sound music. We also enjoyed sledding and making an igloo! Kids had a great time and got some serious sledding speed on the slope we made. This has been a great get-away from Seattle! We would love to visit again in the summer, as well. Thanks for sharing your home!

Another year at the Lighting Festival for our Grays Harbor group. Enough snow for a sleigh ride, good wine, and enough Christmas spirit for the remainder of the year! First time at River Heights house. What a grand lodge. Plenty of room for everyone, with a great kitchen to boot. Snow - scenery - seclusion - the best of all three... We're already planning for our next-year stay. Can't wait to see the final construction out front. Merry Christmas & Happy 2011!
