Accommodations:  House, 4 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 3 Baths (Sleeps 12-14)

Wonderful views of Hunting Island, the tidal marsh, the Atlantic Ocean and a bit of the beach, combined with a spacious and very functional floor plan make our beach house a great place for families to enjoy their vacation.

With a modern fully-equipped kitchen, mostly hardwood floors, decks, screened-in porches, wireless internet, free long-distance calling, a large flat-screen television and two Jacuzzi bathtubs we are confident you will enjoy your visit.

There are 2 king-size beds, 1 queen bed, 2 bunk beds and 1 day bed with a trundle bed underneath, as well as a futon sofa in the living room. Linens are provided as are laundry facilities.

The beach is about 8 minutes away walking (less if you take the golf car available for $150/week). And there are two pools available to you, a great neighborhood pool just down the street as well as the main Harbor Island pool.

Everyone seems to love our enchanted home by the sea that we call the Great Eastern Sun!

2 nights min except 3 to 7 nights min for holidays and 7 nights min during the summer, Sat to Sat.

No pets and no smoking please.

Note: Add 11% SC tax to all rates. Daily rates do not include cleaning fee ($125) or Harbor Island car passes (1-3 days :$30ea & 4-7 days:$40ea). About 25 minutes from Parris Island.

  • We really enjoyed our stay at your beach house. It was beautiful. The beach, pool and all were very accessible by walking. The screened in porch was the most tranquil area. Just sit watch the sun and the waves. We loved it!!! The beds are very comfortable. Great for a large group with plenty of sleeping and living space.

  • Our stay at Charlotte and Alan's house was the best beach week we've ever had. We can only echo some of the previous comments about the amenities the house offers. We will no longer stay at the beaches in the Charleston area, but come back to this beautiful, well-equipped house as often as we can.

  • We had an amazing time at your beach house. The screened and well railed porch was perfect for my 15 month old son and 21 month old nephew to look out at the marsh and birds while we relaxed on the porch swing. Thanks for the break!

  • We had a great spring break on Harbor Island. Charlotte and Alan have a wonderful home with loads of room. The bedrooms are large and can easily accommodate a large family. It is clean, and well maintained. Their home in the community is centrally located with both pools, tennis/basketball courts and fitness center a short walk away. The kitchen is well setup with everything a modern family needs. Great views off the balconies. Wireless internet was a must for us. It was a real pleasure and we will certainly stay here again when we were to come back to South Carolina's low country. Peter and Jobie

  • We absolutely loved Charlotte and Alan's home. They have equipped the kitchen with every thing you need (even sharp knives!)and the living space is very comfortable,spacious, and beautifully decorated. The views are spectacular, the beach close by, and tennis and swimming right around the corner. We had a wonderful time and hope to stay there again soon!   • We stayed here during my son's graduation from PI. The home is beautifully decorated and comfortable. There's so much room inside and out to enjoy. The kitchen was well supplied. The views are breathtaking and the sound of the Atlantic Ocean was calming. We had a wonderful experience here. The owners are great to work with and quick to respond to your needs. I heartily recommend this beach home to you.

    Dear Guests (About the pot) We hope you will enjoy the beach house. I know we did! The views are great from the back deck, the pool water temp was always very warm and we all just want to say THANK YOU. Our vacation was spectacular and we hope you enjoy it too! So I made you guys a pot. You can do what you please with it but if you choose to keep it and it starts to fall apart you can put in in the freezer! Thank you

    Our family really enjoyed our stay here! The house is beautiful and fit us all perfectly. The ocean & beach were fun and we are definitely considering returning next summer.
