This is rustic living in a beautiful setting. Snowshoe right out the front door (actually you may need to snowshoe to get to the front door... not far). This is for people looking for solitude and a very rustic outdoor experience. NO running water, NO electricity, NO TV, NO video, NO computers, NO hot tubs, NO problems.
Our family lived in this cabin for a full year while we built our house and it was fabulous. It's not for everyone but for people looking for a bit more of an adventure, sitting around a campfire, snowshoeing through the woods, reading, playing a game, or just more privacy and solitude than hotels or camping can offer this is for you.
The cabin, though feeling remote, is only a few miles from spas, showers, pools, shopping, theaters, skiing, and everything Stowe has to offer.

Why the Owner Chose Stowe
This is not a "vacation rental" it is an extension of our home. It was our home for about a year while we built our house which is on the same large property. Now it is a guest house and a perfect escape when we want to get away from it all.
