Located on the third floor of a 15th century Roman palazzo in the historic center of Rome, our two fully restored, antique-furnished, adjoining 2-bdrm. apartments are available for a minimum of one week, or monthly.
The palazzo is one block from Piazza Navona, three blocks from Campo di Fiori market, four blocks to the Pantheon, fifteen minutes walk to the Spanish Steps or Trastevere, and twenty minutes to St. Peter's. There are numerous excellent restaurants, boutiques, antique shops, etc., as well as grocers in the area.
The apartments have abundant light, are a spacious (approx.) 1600 square feet, and although fully restored and newly painted, maintain antique coffered and beamed wood ceilings with gilt highlights and polished stained antique wood floors and doors, oriental rugs and Italian antique furniture. The apartments are located on the "secondo piano" level, two floors above street level. There is no elevator in the building.
There is a manager living nearby who greets guests, shows them to the apartment, and is available in the event of emergencies. A thorough written guide to the apartment, its systems, the neighborhood and Rome generally, and useful telephone numbers and services, is provided all guests, as well. |
