My husband, myself and 2 boys (8) stayed for a week in this wonderful condo. We could not have asked for a better experience. It was clean and close to everything ( Legoland 15 min, Zoo 20 min. Safari Pari 25 min). The pool and hot tub that overlook the ocean are incredible. I loved sitting in the hot tub watching the sun set. It was breath taking. It was so fun to wake up in the morning and go outside and see the surfers out in the morning. Thanks for a great week. We will recommend you to everyone.

We stayed in this unit for a week at this time last year. This year we returned for 2 weeks - this says it all! The pictures are very accurate reflecting the condo itself. It was as we had left it, the owners were very helpful & we would definitely recommend it to family & friends.

Great way to start in the New Year!

Our family (hubby + 6 year old) spent the first week of 2012 enjoying San Diego and all it has to offer. We were familiar with the area and wanted a central location to hit our favorite spots without spending a lot of time on the freeway. The location in Solana Beach can't be beat and the accommodations provided by this property were perfect for our needs. The weather was beyond perfect for this time of year and we thoroughly enjoyed the constant sound of the ocean and the sunsets from the condo and on the easily accessible beach. Being able to walk out the sliding glass door to watch the surfers and dog walkers on the beach or hit the spa/pool made the condo feel larger than it comfortably is (and great to allow our daughter to stretch her legs). Our daughter's bed easily inflated in the master bedroom so we could have some quality time in the evening/mornings. The property is well stocked and the owners were/are a delight to deal with...in short, highly recommend. You'll be hard-pressed to find such affordable ocean-front accommodations in San Diego!

Fantastic Beach Condo

This was an amazing beach condo! Our weekend here was a birthday present for my girlfriend. She was overwhelmed by the whole experience. Every morning we walked out the patio door to a view of the ocean and beach below. Several days we spotted dolphins! It was so nice to have such easy access. The condo, furnishings, and amenities were all well kept and first rate. There is easy and private access to the beach and the pool and spa have great views of the ocean. All of the photos are accurate as they describe this fantastic property. Check out Jake's in Del Mar for a great Sunday brunch. Stop by the Solana Beach farmers market on Sundays. And, the Coaster train is a great way to travel into the San Diego area.

Relaxing and Comfortable

Charming condo on the cliffs that is quite comfortable for my family of 4. All accommodations were as described. My kids had a great time at the beach, pool and hot tub. Most definitely would stay here again or recommend to anyone else. Would have loved to stay another week.

Awesome ocean front location , easy access to the beach area ,great views. Nice modern upgraded interior and very clean . Secure parking and everything is close by so you can park you're car and basically walk to Eating and Drining establishments. I will definetly like to return later in the summer.Owner is also very nice and very prompt in answering any questions that may come up.

My husband found this place online and we loved it! We were there with our 2 year old twins, but this place would be great for a romantic getaway, a fun birthday, or a holiday escape. It's located centrally to all the wonderful attractions in San Diego, as well as having its own little cozy town. Sunsets and BBQ! I can't say it enough, we loved it!

Fabulous Find for San Diego Vacation

We were delighted with all that this condo offered to our family of four; a beautifully appointed "home- away-from-home" with a well-stocked kitchen, very comfy beds, lovely decor and of course the gorgeous ocean right outside our door. After busy days at Seaworld and Wild Animal Park (both short drives away-couldn't beat this location for that!), we felt like we had our own little retreat to come home to, with our "own" beach and pool/hot tub steps away. And we loved the quiet family beaches just a few minutes away at Del Mar. Leilani was a pleasure to deal with and helpful with any queries we had. We'll be back the next chance we get to visit San Diego.

Fabulous Solana Beach Vacation Spot

We recently stayed at this Solana Beach gem. We were visiting family in San Diego and wanted a nearby beach place to stay at for a couple of days. What a great find. The owners were MORE than accommodating to our requests and the condo was simply perfect. Very comfortable and so much space for a 1 bedroom condo. Our daughter slept in the bedroom while we took the advice of other reviewers and stayed in the awesome pull out king sofa and listened to the ocean through the night. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance, as well as a playground, and San Diego is minutes away. We wished we had the entire week there. We'll most certainly be back!! Thanks so much for adding to our vacation bliss!!!

The condo was perfect. Nicely furnished, comfortable, with with an incredible ocean view. The location is superb too, since it's within walking distance of some great spots in Solana Beach. Some boogie boards and wetsuits let us enjoy the ocean even more!

The condo was fabulous, beautifully decorated, well stocked and the sound of the waves incredible. For the first time ever, our kids got the bedroom and the parents voluntarily took the super comfy king size pullout couch with the ocean view and sound of the crashing waves. The location is great if you dont mind a short easy drive into San Diego. Sitting in the hot tub on the edge of the cliff was spectacular. Our kids especially loved walking the beach at low tide and saying "hi" to all the dogs on the beach. I highly recommend it, and hope to return. Leilani was a pleasure to deal with !!

We really enjoyed our time at this oceanfront condo - exactly as described - which is not always the case. It was superbly appointed & obviously great care was taken with both the decor & the amenities. We would recommend this unit to family, friends & hope to stay again ourselves. We appreciated that Leilani & Tim made themselves very available & accommodating for any questions. We enjoyed walking down the beach to several good restaurants.

The decorating in this condo is well above average making it a very pleasant place to stay. It is also well equipped and shopping is nearby. Best of all is the ocean view with whales and dolphins swimming by. The sunsets are spectacular. The condo, as well as the common areas, is well kept.

There is nothing better than seeing and hearing the ocean as you relax inside this beautiful and spacious condo. Making dinner while at the same time watching the ocean with pink reflections from the sunset was amazing. I loved the decor and lighting, at night it was fun to create that perfect ambience with the lighting. Leilani made it so easy for us and stress free, she was a sweetheart. The jacuzzi on the cliffs was perfect on a chilly night. We would definately come back and for the money I dont think you will find a better deal. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves the ocean like we do.

We had a wonderful stay even though the weather did not allow us to walk on the beach. The condo is wonderful place for privacy, for having people over for dinner and sharing time alone with your loved one. It has everything you need. Just one issue, cell phone coverage is horrible. That was a problem for us.

Free, unlimited long distance calls are provided in the unit to help stay connected with family, friends and the office while you are at the condo.

Stayed at this condo for 3 nights and the experience was exceptional. This is a true oceanfront condo in a safe a secure complex. Beach access, clean completely renovated condo, BBQ. parking, washer dryer, full kitchen. 2 tvs, extremely comfortable larger than king size pullout bed, comfortable queen bed in large bedroom. This place was better than I expected. Price was very reasonable as well (if you do your research you will agree). Host was just a phone call away and was always available. We will try to stay here again if in the area. Thanks for a memorable get away!

perfect location for exploring

Besides being right on the ocean, the interior of the unit was wonderful, exactly as pictured and well maintained. It was well situated between the charming Del Mar to the south and the more surfer type towns to the north. The nearby Design District offers all kinds of fun. The complex is very accessible to the main roads yet set apart and quite serene. Sleep up front to hear the ocean - the pull out couch is really a good bed, not your typical backache waiting to happen. Leilani is a great hostess and answered all my many questions quickly and with aloha. I'd go back and I've recommended it to several folks already.

My family and I have stayed here the last 2 summers and it is nothing less than spectacular. Ocean view with upgraded amenities and close to the track and downtown Solana Beach. If it wasn't for the addition of our second son we would stay again. Thank you to the owners who put forth a great vacation spot for a great price. This condo is perfect for a couple. We stayed here for a week in May, and the accomodations were absolutely what we expected. My family and I stayed here May 2008. The property is absolutely fantastic and has all you could need for a small family. What a fantastic Property. From the moment walking into the unit it was Great. Directly looking over the beach, we daily viewed the Surfers, Dolphins, Pelicans, and other Wildlife dancing, darting, and swimming in the Surf. The Condo is convenient to all the Amusement Parks, Restaurants and Shopping. Sitting around doing absolutely nothing while enjoying the Sunsets was the ultimate, never got to see a Sunrise as we were to busy sleeping listening to the Surf! Great place to stay at a fair price. Beats the heck out of a hotel. Wonderful view, secure complex, comfortable accomodations and plenty of room to have a few friends over to have a glass of wine and watch the sunset.
