The Orchards is a very special family retreat. This wonderful home sits on 8 flat acres in the scenic Dry Creek Valley amid a beautiful stretch of rolling vineyard properties. A short 10 minute drive takes you from the privacy of country living to quaint downtown Healdsburg.
The yard features a large fenced swimming pool area with hot tub and two shaded pavilions, a tennis court with basketball hoop, a spacious level lawn, and a play structure sitting in its own sandbox. Overlooking the property right off the kitchen, is a large furnished screen porch - perfect for relaxing, and a great place for an intimate meal.
The main house features 3 bedrooms: a master suite with king bed and an ante room with a day bed/trundle and two additional bedrooms with queen sized beds. One of the bedrooms comes equipped with a crib and changing table. There are three full bathrooms in the house. The open-ceiling family room has a large plasma television as well as a ping pong table and game table.
"The Barn" is a detached living unit with two bedrooms, a bathroom, full kitchen/great room and large deck overlooking a neighboring vineyard. With a queen bed, two twins and a trundle, The Barn sleeps 6 comfortably.

My girlfriends and I have just returned from a fabulous four-day weekend at the Orchards for my Bachelorette party... I could not have asked for more! The pictures of the house do not do it justice! The large eat in kitchen comfortably housed the eight of us while we gathered, cooked and enjoyed our breakfast... and there is a formal dining room for more formal seating. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware... and we really appreciated the food staples available... coffee for our first day and spices for flavouring our meals. I think the house has I very nice "home" feeling.... use some, leave some. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean... the master has a fireplace (didn't use) and a lovely view of the gardens. The gardens are lovely. I felt like I was in England... beautiful landscaping around the house and pool area. We enjoyed laying in the warm afternoon sun and a few of us jumped in and cooled off... chilly, but refreshing! Conveniently located to many wineries, fresh fruit/veg stands and the Safeway is very close... as is the town square. Reluctant to say anymore as I want to keep this place as our secret... we will definately be back! LOVE LOVE LOVED EVERY MINUTE!
