Come stay in our home in the perfect family friendly community of Dollar Point, close to everything North Shore Tahoe has to offer. In summer, you have access to the large, private community pool and sandy beach areas. Tennis courts next to both pool and beach. Our home comes with everything you'll need, even some beach towels.
We have just finished up a remodel of the whole downstairs which includes the new entry way with full bath, a separate, good sized bedroom with a queen sized bed, and an additional master bedroom suite with sitting area (currently set up with a bunk bed and two single beds). There is a separate master bedroom with queen sized bed upstairs as well as another bedroom that can sleep two, and the half bath. Also upstairs is the living room with a large screen TV (satellite reception), Blu Ray/DVD player, stereo, CD player, a large beautiful natural stone fireplace with a no hassle gas fireplace remote control. The kitchen has all the cooking and serving utensils you'll need.
Excellent restaurants are nearby, as are scenic golf courses, some quite challenging, great hiking and all lake and river sports( yes, even leisurely rafting down the Truckee River) in the summer, and of course the great skiing/snowboarding close by in the winter at Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Northstar, Homewood.
What is extra special in the summer here is that you have a membership pass to the activities and private community areas of Dollar Point. You miss out on a lot if you rent outside Dollar Point in the Northshore area.
Tahoe City is less than 2 miles away. There are plenty of great restaurants around. And, if you are so inclined of course, there are the casinos of North Shore about 15 minutes away.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Dollar Point home. We rented here to have access to the community beach and pool. The house was generously stocked with towels, linens, kitchen supplies, cleaning supplies, etc. so all we had to bring was food. The home is obviously well taken care of by the family. The layout and number of bathrooms is perfect to allow 3+ couples privacy because each couple can have their own bathroom. Groups of friends can also be comfortable with the many bed options. The Dollar Point beach provides umbrellas and chairs and lounge chairs so that was great too. We will be back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

Our week in this home was as advertised. It was clean and well stocked. Owner was responsive to our questions and helpful. Location is nice. Horse shoe pit and hot tub were a big hit. Did not see a ping pong table. Would recommend to friend or relative. Nice place.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

This home had everything, 2 large decks, 4 very nice bedrooms, easy access to private beach and pool A nice hot tub and a very large back yard . The kitchen was fully stocked with anything one would need for cooking. We hope to return to this very nice home.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children.

About the owner: Our home was built in 1973 by our parents with their retirement in mind. We had been frequent visitors to the Lake all of our lives, loving both the winter and summer activities. My brother and I have traveled extensively but we both agree that there really is no place quite like Lake Tahoe when you want to unwind and relax in a truly pristine environment. Whether you enjoy winter or summer activities Tahoe has it all and in the summer Dollar Point makes it extra special with the private pool, tennis courts and beach area. Tahoe City has always been a beautiful community with great shops along the boardwalk with bike and boat rentals right in town. We hope that you will find Tahoe as wonderful as we have and can make your own lasting memories.
