The Casita has its own private entrance through a courtyard onto Ledoux Street, a nice litle one way, which is located in the heart of the Taos Historic District, and the oldest street in Taos. Ledoux Street is also the best walking street in town, with two art museums, several art galleries including the well known R.C.Gorman Gallery, restaurants and shops and this is all only one half block off the Taos Plaza with many more restaurants and shops, as well as bars with live music, coffee shops and more. Casita 203, is uniquely situated in the heart of town, and it is just a stroll away from all the attractions of the town center, but still in a quiet residential area.

The casita, a small house or living space, is approximately 600 sq. ft., a great room, otherwise called the living room, with a sleeper sofa large enough for one adult or two kids (with an additional charge), and a large Kiva fireplace. This room also includes a small, but full, kitchen with a dining area. The bedroom is separate from the great room, with a California King size bed, trastero cabinet, and a separate full bath.

Yes there is wireless internet! The casita is a very large and open space, with skylights through-out, and sunny windows facing into a courtyard. It is designed to be very romantic, but can accommodate up to three adults or two adults with two young children, and larger enough for entertaining guests. Well-behaved dogs are welcome as well, with an additional $25 fee for the first night plus $ 5 per dog per night thereafter, with a deposit for longer stays. Unfortunately, No Cats, Please.

A charming, very private, very quiet casita just a block or two from the Plaza. Very engaging and pleasant owners who have made a small little paradise on Ledoux Street. The kitchenette and living area are great and there are 2 small fireplaces. Location CANNOT be beat. Will come back and recommend to friends. All the ads for the casita were accurated and it was quite clean. There is even a quiet patio for restful reading. You can walk to just about all of Taos attractions.

Owner response: it was wonderful to meet you and we hope you will visit again soon!

The Casita in Taos is absolutely one of the most charming places I have ever stayed in the world. It felt like coming home to me the first time I entered the art filled casita. As you enter the private patio with an out door table and chairs and BBQ it is peaceful and relaxed. The casita has a small kitchenette with everything you might need for eating in or a snack on the patio before going out to see the amazing Taos sights. The master bedroom is comfotable and well thought out for recharging. There are 2 small fireplaces that add charm and warmth to this lovely space. The casita is in a great location in the heart of Taos Historic district and a lovely walk to restaurants, shopping at the plaza, museums and inspirational galleries. It was such a delightful visit to Taos and the old Taos charm of my private casita made my experience rated excellent.

This Casita has everything needed for a wonderful NM-style stay- kiva fireplace in a cozy living area, a separate private bed and bath, very nice complete kitchen, dining area opening onto a private patio. Parking right in front making it easy to load and unload gear. The rooms are beautifully appointed with gallery artworks. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful- surrounded by galleries, museums and boutiques. A nice walk just 2 blocks from the plaza for more galleries, shopping, cafes and food. Very comfortable accommodations, with unobtrusive but attentive hosts. Enchanting.

We loved our stay! This place is a one of a kind, with so much charm. A wonderful get away on a great little hidden one way street, which you would not even know was there if you didn't know Taos very well. The private courtyard entry is one of those you peak into and wonder who is the luck one that lives there, and once inside the adobe building it is classic southwest in a good way, not cliché classic! If you are going to stay in the downtown area this is the place. Thank you for the wonderful place to stay, the great recommendations as to where to eat and what to do. Sorry it took so long to leave this review, we got distracted and just recently remember that I wanted to do so.

Owner response: Thank you for your kind words. Ledoux street is one of the oldest parts of Taos Historic District and not very well know, as you say. Please tell others how great it is, that we are the place to stay and we do hope to see you again soon!

Our stay at the casita was very satisfying! It is well decorated, cozy and very well located in the best part of town. We would love to move in for good and will for sure return for another visit.

Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Owner response: Thank you very much for the excellent review! We are happy to hear you enjoyed our casita and that you agree it is in the best downtown location, walking distance to lots of good places to eat, have a drink & listen to live music, museums, galleries and shop just steps away. We have decorated, with many original paintings hanging in the casita, from our gallery 203 Fine Art, which you may have visited just up the street from where you stayed. We tried to keep the interior simple but elegant, keeping in tradition with the way this historic adobe building, with lots of early Taos charm, might have appeared centuries ago. So, thanks again and we hope you come back soon. Owners, operators and Artists, Eric Andrews and Shaun Richel
