Nestled in the highly acclaimed Princeville area on the majestic North shore of Kauai in the newly developed Nihilani development (completed in December 2006), our home is truly one of a kind.
The two story attached home with 1,874 square feet of living area includes 3 bedrooms (1 King, 1 Queen and 2 twins), 2 ½ baths and a study with convertible day bed and trundle (sleeps 6-8 comfortably) and all the necessary amenities such as washer and dryer, TV and DVD, stereo speakers for ipod connection, and much more.
Exquisitely decorated with granite counter tops, hardwood floor, central air and ceiling fans throughout, a private 2 car garage and 3 spacious lanai with comfortable outdoor seating. This home is great for 2-3 couples or a large family.
Guests of Nihilani also have access to a private resort style pool and ~BBQ~ area complete with Jacuzzi and waterfall flowing from the Pool Hale above (our home overlooks the waterfall and pool area, a picturesque site as the sun goes down and one of the best views in the development).
If you have never been to Kauai you are missing one of the most beautiful islands in the world. Kauai still maintains much of the old Hawaiian charm with plenty of modern amenities.
Our home is located within walking distance of the award winning Princeville Hotel and Puu Poa Beach, Pali Ke Kua (Hideaway) Beach and Queens Bath a unique ancient Hawaiian retreat unique to the North shore. Within minutes drive you have access to over 23 north shore beaches, two of the best golf courses on the Island, Makai and Princeville courses (Golf Digest rated the Princeville course as "Hawaii's No. 1 Golf Course,” it’s the incredible design Robert Trent Jones, Jr. created to turn rolling terrain into a links-style Golf Course that will challenge you like no other), and a world class spa and tennis facility within the Princeville development.
Once you venture outside of Princeville you will discover the quaint town of Hanalei located just north of Princeville. You will drive across one lane bridges all too familiar on the North shore of Kauai (bridge etiquette: vehicles on one side cross together and then vehicles on the other side cross) and through some of the largest taro fields in Hawaii with visible waterfalls on the green mountains beyond. Once you enter Hanalei, you will encounter wonderful shopping and some of the best dining on the North shore. Just south of Princeville you will encounter Kilauea Lighthouse built in 1913, it was had the largest lens of it's kind and guided ships heading to and from the Orient. Several restaurants and shops can be found along the way.
