  this place is ok. not super clean, but not dirty. on the upper half of resort, and can't access pools or grass area without going out front side of unit first. very loud as shutter windows (whole resort like this mind you) woke up by loud people in parking lot at 6am. whole complex dated. people smoking and drinking at pool. the cleaners def missed the shower as there was hair and toothpaste smears in it, and ants in kitchen. if you're looking for budget and in a decent area, then this is just fine, and aren't going to spend a lot of time in the unit, then this is just fine. there are lots of supplies, ie, towels, beach toys, kitchen condiments, foil, saran, etc which was good. i would say this unit is probably one of the better ones in the complex for being updated and well kept.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

As I don't live on the island I must trust that the cleaning staff have the unit in perfect condition everytime! No exceptions. Without your feedback I would have never known. I have been using this cleaning company for 6 years and have never been made aware of any cleaning issues but will be sending your comments to them. The complex has a great management team in place and the reputation of the complex is outstanding, which is why we purchased there.

  We spent 12 days here in November. Enjoyed it immensely. Very clean, comfy and recent renovations were obvious. Bill, the owner was very good to work with. Community is lovely and husbands had a great time chatting it up around the well looked after barbeque grills. Beach is great and nice to be at the quieter end of South Kihei. Nice snorkelling on all the Kihei beaches. This condo complex was recommended by friends and we can understand why. Thanks, Bill and we hope to return some day soon!! Bill had a outside storage locker with lots of beach chairs etc which was great. The previous home we rented in Kauai had nothing in their locker for us to use- only things in their locked cupboards.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

  We just returned from a beautiful 14 day vacation on the island of Maui. There were 4 of us and the Hagel's condo was perfect! Very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, all the comforts of home. The beach across the street was awesome, water was warm and clean, we spent hours swimming, and snorkelling everyday. Thanks for the use of the beach toys and chairs, they came in handy! The condo is within walking distance to many shops and restaurants, and other beaches! The sunsets from the lanai were just as you describe, SPECTACULAR!!! We were too late in the season for the whales, next time we will have to go earlier. I would not hesitate to rent this unit again, or to recommend it to friends and family. Thank you Bill, for making the rental process so easy and for all your tips for a perfect stay on Maui!   Wow - great place to stay while enjoying the beautiful island of Maui. Out of the 6 units booked by our friends and relatives for the occasion of our son's wedding - they voted our unit as the nicest furnished accomodation (leather couches, very comfy beds and 3 flat screened TV's)! This unit is very well stocked with every amenity you could ask for. Thanks to Bill, for giving us the opportunity to rent his unit and to have a stress free holiday!

  We just got back from Beautiful Maui. Enjoyed 10 gorgeous days there, first trip there and we really fell in love with the place, soooo beautiful. The Hagel's condo was great, very comfy and close to a beautiful beach, Kam III where we snorkeled, boogie boarded, swam, every day, what a perfect place. The water is amazing, clear, warm, clean. Swam with Green Sea Turtles (not too close, have to give them their space) and tropical fish of all kinds. It was my first time snorkeling and I loved it. Thanks to the Hagel's for the use of their place, we had an amazing time!! :)

  We stayed at this Condo in June 2008 and loved every minute of it. It's at a great location and a good place for kids. The Condo is in great shape and my family and I were very pleased. We hope to stay here again the next time we are on Maui. It's very beautiful here!

  We stayed at the Hagel's Condo for the Christmas Season 2007/New Years 2008 and I must say, we were beyond thrilled! The condo is really in excellent condition with new appliances and furniture. We have stayed in this complex before, but it is by far the nicest condo we have seen there! We would love to go back and stay again! Thanks Bill, you made our stay a memorabale one!!!

  January 12-24, 2008 Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo. Beautifully decorated, with all the comforts of home. The location is perfect... excellent restaurants close by, beautiful park across the street with walking path along ocean. The condo has a great view of the ocean from the lanai. We had a great holiday here and can't wait to come back.

  We had a great time. This unit was impeccable. It was newly redecorated with beautiful furnishings, flat screen TVs, iPod docking station. The two bedrooms are fresh and attractive. There were plenty of towels and sheets. The bathrooms were large, clean and beautiful. The view was great. In addition to the bedrooms, there was a loft with a pull out bed. We had absolutly no complaints. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
