Escape the crowds and the busy city to our Paradise on Hatteras Island. The "Carolina Clipper" HCE-26, is a cedar shake Oceanfront home with great views! A charming, spacious, year round cottage is fresh and bright. It features an open and airy floor plan with large rooms.
No need to load the car up to go to the beach. Enjoy miles of unspoiled beach at your back door as well as windsurfing and fishing. Located on a quiet street and set in a cozy secluded drive way with trees and shrubs providing privacy.
Enjoy your morning cup of coffee from the Captains Watch with beautiful sunrise views. Come back in the evening for cocktails for equally spectacular sound sunsets. "Carolina Clipper" is the perfect home away from home to relax. Watch the dolphins play while you relax in the hot tub on the top deck. Or relax in a nice 2-person jacuzzi tub off of the master suite. Plenty of room for privacy, even with large groups. Soak up the sun on the outside decks or dine on the shaded, screened porch.
This house has a reverse floor plan with the bedrooms located on the first level. There is a large King bedroom and a large bedroom with two Double beds. Both have sliders leading to the rear deck and share a full bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and a shower. There is also a Queen bedroom, a bedroom with a Pyramid bed and a hall bathroom. The laundry area is on this floor as well.
The Great Room on the second level is large and spacious, with access to the deck overlooking the ocean. There is a counter with four bar stools between the great room and kitchen area, dining table seats 10. Off from the great room is a sitting room with a sleep sofa. From the kitchen you have access to the screened in porch with a gas grill and a picnic table.
The Tower Room and Captains Watch is above the great room giving you a 360 degree view.
