Golf Details: This condo includes $55 discounted greens fees for all members of your group. (reg. $79-$99) The Jay Peak Golf Course, with its wooded setting, stunning mountain and valley views, and uniquely landscaped surroundings, takes full advantage of the beauty found only in this corner of the Northeast Kingdom. The front nine sets out to the east of the base area and extends down the valley over the Jay Branch Brook. The back nine runs up into the West Bowl Area and opens up views of the mountain never before seen.
The 1st tee is approx. 500 yards from the front door of this condo.
4 sets of tees for 5,094 to 6,894 hilly, challenging yards. Back tees have a slope rating of 73.1/138. This is a challenging course for all abilities.
Course rates range from $30 to $79 depending on time of play.
Skiing - Free Lift Ticket!: Mother Nature is very good to Jay Peak. Because of the mountain’s unique location and geographical features, it gets more snow than anywhere else in New England (twice as much as many resorts). Put that together with a 2,000-ft. vertical, massive glade system and the only aerial tram in Vermont, and you have one unique resort!
Located in Northern Vermont, a short drive from the Canadian border, people come from all over to ski and ride Jay Peak. That’s partly because there's a unique philosophy about skiing and riding. Jay believes in giving visitors the freedom to explore the natural gifts of the mountain anywhere within its boundaries. The new golf course doubles as an awesome cross country trail system in the winter, only 500 yards from your doorstep!

Area Info: North Troy and Troy adjoin Jay to the east and are home to some of New England’s most beautiful working farms and dairy centers. Stayed the first weekend of December 2008 at this condo. (Hoping that this becomes a yearly getaway...) I have to say, it actually looks better than the pictures would have you believe. Comfy beds all around. Full kitchen, pots and pans, the works! (Take food w/ you, there is nothing at Jay Peak except for snow and more snow!) The sofa bed was a little lacking, but that's not the Condo owner's fault. (Is there a comfy sofa bed out there?) Easily remedied if you put the mattress on the floor! Owner was in contact for every question I had. (Not that I had many.) Raccoon Run is literally 100 feet away. And even better, the run is a perfect place to work on your snowboard angles before tackling the TRAM! We were five, we all had more than enough space! Can't wait to head back! I've stayed all over VT and there is no better combination of conditions, snow, lodging in all of VT. Thanks!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Early and late season stays are a great way to save some money and enjoy no lift lines. If the weather cooperates, a great vacation is almost guaranteed.

Stayed at Joe's condo to attend a wedding in near by Montgomery. The place was spotless, beautiful and had everything we could possibly need. The location was great. Right near the lodge and restaurants. Plus only a few minutes away from other great towns to visit. The area was just beautiful and the weather was perfaect all weekend. We couldn't have asked for more. Really did feel like "home away from home". We definitely recommend staying with Joe if you're in this area.Did you find this review helpful? Great condo....Clean....well equipped....right down to the grill on the deck....2 minutes to walk to raccoon lift...and of course the 2 feet of powder during the stay was epic.....will stay again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We had a great time just after Christmas in this condo. Being able to ski in/out to one of the best hills around made it a very exceptional experience. The condo itself was spacious, clean and came equipped with everything that we needed for our stay. We were extremely happy with the condo. It was spotless, beatifully furnished and fully equipped throughout. As a person who had to cook for the crowd I was especially impressed with how well the kitchen was stocked with all sorts of tableware, utensils and appliances. The location of the condo is great - just couple of steps away from a ski lift. Also, the owner proved to be prompt, attentive and polite.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.
