Why the Owner Chose Sandcastles
Cocoa Beach is a wonderful coastal community on the east coast of Florida. We are only 40 minutes from Orlando and all the major theme parks, yet far enough to avoid the hustle and bustle of the big city. The beach is wonderful with plenty of white sand and beautiful warm blue water. Sandcastles is located about two miles south of the Cocoa beach pier and the Ron Jon Surf shop. This is a great location because we are away from the crowds, but yet close enough that you can take a leisurely walk down to the touristy part of town if you like. The Sandcastles complex is located right on the Atlantic Ocean with its own private beach access. The complex has a beautiful pool which is heated year round and has plenty of lounge chairs for sunning or relaxing.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
When we stay at Sandcastles we enjoy swimming in the beach, collecting sea shells and soaking up the beautiful Florida sun. Our children love boogie boarding in the waves and playing volleyball on the beach. We have seen many great space shuttle and rocket launches from the balcony of the condo, something we will never forget. On lazy weekend afternoons, we love sitting by the beach and waiting for the cruise ships to depart Port Canaveral and sail away in the distance. Although we live just 20 minutes from Cocoa Beach, we always drive over when we want fresh seafood and great ambiance.

Hello and welcome to our VRBO site. Both Jeanette and I have been living in Florida for the past forty years and have long been searching for a nice, fun and tranquil area to both raise a family and enjoy our lives. Having lived in South Florida for many years, since the late sixties, we soon became overwhelmed with the increase in population and traffic congestion, so we began looking for our version of utopia. We found it here in Cocoa Beach back in 2005. With much sacrifice, we bought Sandcastles 403 and began enjoying all that Cocoa Beach had to offer on the weekends. Four months passed and we decided that Brevard County was the place for us, so we uprooted and moved the family from South Florida to the Space Coast. We now call Melbourne our home and Cocoa Beach our play ground. We live just 20 minutes from Sandcastles and enjoy going over whenever we have some time off.
Shortly after we purchased our condo, we began renting it through a local realtor in Cocoa Beach, but found the experience to be very impersonal. We were never able to meet or talk with our renters and much of our business came from corporate travelers instead of families whom we preferred to have as guests. We now rent our condo "by owner" and are able to offer our guests both better rates than our realtor was offering and a very personalized and pleasant experience.
Please feel free to call us with any questions on our property or the Cocoa Beach area. The Space Coast is a wonderful area to live and vacation. We are less than one hour from all the Orlando attractions and have Kennedy Space Center in our back yard.

We really enjoyed staying in your condo. It was very thoughtful that you called to check after we got there, to make sure everything was OK. The condo was very clean, very spacious, great location to everything, and you have it very well equipped with everything needed for a week at the beach! We stayed at this property and had a great time. The beach is only steps from the unit and there is a good stretch of white sand which is very clean and inviting. The complex is very well kept and this unit was impeccable. The owners thought of everything that their guest might need during their stay. The owners were very easy to deal with and the unit is better in person than in the pictures - very large and spacious. Our family looks forward to returning in the future. Thanks for a great vacation.

My family of 5 stayed at this condo in April 2011. It was very clean and perfect for our family. Beach chairs and equipment was a nice added feature that the owner provided. Sitting around the table on the balcony enjoying the wonderful view of the ocean was spectacular. We would definately stay here again on our next trip to Cocoa Beach.

We loved this condo! We come to Florida every year and this is the cleanest most well appointed condo we have ever stayed at! The owners have done a wonderful job here! The furnishings were lovely, the entire condo was well kept, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the location; it was handy to everything in Cocoa Beach, Merritt Island, Port Canaveral, and Melbourne. The beach and pool were both great. My husband and I stayed at the condo for a week and were very impressed. Everything was very clean and well equipped. It was decorated with taste and made to feel like home. We will be back next year. We got to view a rocket launch from the comfort of the patio. If you want a nice place to stay and owners that communicate and are helpful then you will stay here. We enjoyed our long walks on the beach at sunrise and watching all the little sand crabs. My husband said the surf fishing was grand.

Excellent property right on the Atlantic Ocean. We enjoyed our time immensely at Sandcastles 403, the unit was very clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed for our stay. The owners were very helpful and made the reservation process very easy and pleasant. Our children enjoyed the beach toys in the “beach closet”. The DVD movies are a great addition and the computer in the bedroom was great. We hope to return in the future !

We stayed this past week, Sunday to Sunday, August 23 - 30, 2009. Jose and Jeanette were wonderful to work with. They were willing to rent Sunday to Sunday. Everything was as they described. Anything we needed was there for you, it was the most convient vacation. Thank you for sharing your vacation home. If we make it back to Cocoa Beach area we would love to stay there again.
