Large 85 sq.m two bedroom apartment in the center of the Old City next to Cathedral Sainte Repartate located on the third floor. Apartment has wonderful views of church, Place Rosetti and the man-made waterfall on Le Chateau hill.
The apartment has a large living room and a separate dining area not shown in the photo. The large kitchen is fully equipped and contains a gas stove. The apartment has a southern exposure making it bright throughout the day. You will be just a few blocks to the beach, shops, restaurants and the outdoor food and flower market (on Monday's is the antique market). Close transportation: the main bus station is a five minute walk, and the TRAM stop will be a minute walk from the apartment.

In September 2010, a friend and I rented this apartment for 10 days, and it proved to be the highpoint of the trip. My goal in traveling has always been to experience life as the locals live it, and we couldn't have found a more perfect place to do that. The apartment is literally in the center of Old Town and you feel like you can reach your arm out the window and feel it's pulse. The church bells are all you will need for an alarm clock, and food, flowers, shopping and anything else you might need is right at the bottom of your stairs. We got our exercise walking up and down those stone stairs dating back to the 1600's, making it all the easier to enjoy dinner. The apartment had everything you could possibly want or need....plus easy-to-understand instructions on how to operate things. (I'm presently staying in an Avignon apartment that came with no instructions whatsoever, and it is making life quite difficult.) There is noise at night to deal with from the swarm of life always going on below your windows, but closing the windows and using the AC make it acceptable. The rooms are spacious and well decorated, and you will lack for nothing. The owner is helpful, responsive and knows the area well. I will recommend this apartment to all my friends that are adventurous, curious and want to immerse themselves in the Nice experience.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

My husband and I just got back from a week in Nice and stayed in this apartment. It was a wonderful find. The description was very accurate--it had wonderful sunny views as well as being beautifully decorated and well maintained. Although I did no cooking, the kitchen was well equipped. The owner was very helpful when I asked questions or needed clarification of location, etc. There was so much nearby in terms of restaurants, craft and food markets, etc. it would be hard to find an area more vibrant. I would definitely recommend the property and will plan to stay again when I return to Nice.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.
