Where to start, on what was a fine week? Our flight from Barcelona was delayed and I called because I was worried that we would not arrive at the apartment at the time promised. Accommodating doesn't begin to describe our reception. We were given the codes to the apartment, told to make ourselves at home, whatever the time, and we would be checked in the following morning. As we got in about 0230, this was very much appreciated. The apartment is even nicer than the pictures show - the rooms are light, have great views, and are as comfortable as home. Everything was provided (down to two umbrellas!) - kitchen was well furnished and easy to cook in. Pretty, comfortable, modern, well-equipped, friendly - it doesn't get better than this. The location is also great. In the center of things, but high enough up so that we were never bothered by the street noise. Convenient to shops, the Metro, and the trains to the coast. Cafes at the door, my favorite Lisbon restaurant (Tagide) three blocks away, a nice grocery up the side street, and a square to sit in with coffee or wine. We have stayed in more than 6 VRBO apartments across Europe, and this is the best thought out and overall the nicest we have encountered. Book it and plan on a great stay in Lisbon!

Wonderful Lisbon apartment

We spent a week in this wonderful apartment with friends. It was spotless, nicely furnished, had a complete kitchen, comfortable beds, and right in the historic district. There were more restaurants within a block or two than you could visit in a month. Paulo and Silvia gave us first class service- from meeting us at the front door upon our arrival to booking any drivers and tours we wanted. On top of all that they really went over the top when our friends had to call on Saturday evening and ask for help--they had locked themselves out of the second apartment we had rented. Paulo had to drive 1 1/2 hours each way to come in with a master key, and he still had a smile on his face.....what hospitality. When we return to Lisbon this is the first place we will book, and we will take our first dinner at the nearby Sacramento Restaurant.

Amazing apartment with astonishing view over the old city, nice and tidy interior. Perfectly located in downtown Lisbon and very convenient for exploring the city either by walking or by experiencing ancient trams. Really enjoyed our stay, and would love to come back.

Read all the reviews before we booked this apartment and they are all true! Best location, best views and best service from Paulo and Silvia! Very modern, well kept, clean and comfortable apartment in a truly excellent location of Lisbon. Highly recommend this rental, it is the way to go.

We called from the taxi as we left the airport and Sylvie was at the door to meet us just as we arrived. The views from the apartment are incredible in all directions, and the accommodations are clean, modern and well-equipped. The location could not be more advantageous. We picked up our breakfast at the bakery across the street every day, and found the best gelato of our trip right around the corner. We would definitely recommend the property to anybody.

It had been highly recommended by friends, and it did not disappoint. A bit of street noise, but that is to be expected when you live in a chic neighborhood of a lively town. And the views alone made me blissfully happy. In addition, the recommendations from Sylvie "our concierge", on local spots, trains and chauffeured cars was all great, and the car service from Filipe was top. Paola, thank you for arranging for it all to come together and serve your guests so well. This is the place to stay in Lisbon.

This is a beautiful apartment in a fantastic location. Paulo was very quick to respond to any of our queries before we travelled to Portugal and Maria was a fountain of information when we arrived at the apartment. We were 4 girls on a well earned long weekend away from work and kids and this place easily accommodated us and all of our stuff! One small thing that would make it perfect would be an additional mirror in the twin bedroom. Try Sacramento restaurant for great cocktails and lovely food, it's literally round the corner, we went twice! Also the train up the coast to the beaches at Caiscaix is highly recommended as is the bus tour round the city and up to Belem.

Wonderful Apartment

Four of us spent 4 nights at the apartment in May. It was very comfortable for us and in excellent condition - just as the photos show. The views from the windows are wonderful. The biggest plus is the location - it cannot be beat. We were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go and used convenient public transportation for areas further away - we used the 7 Colinas pass (which also includes the train to Sintra - a must see). Watch out for pickpockets in Lisbon - especially on the trolleys and trams. We also enjoyed walking to Lisbon's "Eating Lane" north of Rossio - Rua das Portas de Santo Amao. Good seafood cafes and be sure to have the roasted chicken and fries at Bonjardin. Enjoy with a bottle of Vinho Verde ! We had a very friendly welcome to the apartment and an easy departure. We definitely would return here and highly recommend it.

You cannot beat this location in Chiado. The apartment, it's views,and it's appointments are lovely. Be prepared for a lively nighttime atmosphere right outside your window. The staff was very helpful and accommodating when our flight arrived late.

My family (2 adults and 2 teenagers) stayed 4 nights in what we all thought was a perfect apartment - modern, very clean (well maintained), roomy (2 bedrooms and 2 baths) and comfortable, in a fantastic location, and with wonderful views of the castle. The owner (Paulo) and the rental management company were perfect to deal with - they were extremely professional and provided excellent suggestions on the best way to get to different sites, restaurants, and were very proactive and responsive with any concerns or questions we had. With the an excellent choice of tv channels, plus free wifi, we had to constantly coax our kids to leave the apartment. Overall, it was a great choice, and we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Great apartment, Clean and well maintained with a sophisticated feel. Downsides aircon in single bedroom noisy and noisy construction work over the road. Great view especially of cathedral and Tagus. Eating out near the apartment..recommend cafe No chiada, and bar/restaurant next to the theatre indoors ( turn left at Benneton ). Supermarket at Cais de Sodre station is better than the one in Chiada itself. Have fun, Lisbon is romantic and relaxed with all the central historic sites within walking distance from the apartment.

Location, Location, Location. - most attractions are easily walkable from this central location. The apartment was ideal for our family of four (two teenagers). It had all the amenities to enjoy the city and yet provide a home-type atmosphere. Paulo was extremely helpful and very accommodating answering all our questions about Lisbon. It is an amazing city - a must see for anyone considering to visit Portugal. i would not hesitate to recommend this apartment as an ideal place to stay.

This was my first experience in renting an apartment for vacations. And it was nothing but perfect. We are a five-person family and all of us rated it as excellent. Although we live comfortably in Brazil, we felt as if we were at home. The apartment has one of the best possible locations in Lisbon, is very comfortable, fully equipped, clean and well maintained. Both the owner and the people who manage the location are nice and reliable. Everything was as advertised and happened as agreed. I strongly recommend this apartment. When I go back to Lisbon I will stay there again.

My friends and I were visiting Lisbon from Canada and the US. We rented two apartments for a week and couldn't have been happier! The location of the apartments is perfect!! Great shopping, cafes, and restaurants at your doorstep! The apartments were clean, comfortable, recently renovated, and had a nice view. The pull out couches were quite comfortable and the beds extra firm (those with back problems will appreciate this). We also preferred the amenities of the apartment over hotels, such as the washer/dryer, fridge, dishwasher, wireless internet, and living/dining room area. And thank goodness for the elevators to transport our large suitcases! Paulo and his team were incredibly friendly and helpful, and all correspondences and transactions were easy and smooth. This place is a great find! I would absolutely recommend it to others and stay here on my next visit to beautiful Lisbon!

At the time of writing, all 29 reviews for this property score 5/5. I can only support all of the previous comments made. If you want to stay in Lisbon, stay at this apartment. We 2 couples were ideally suited since we like to cook at the apartment on most nights and eat out on some other nights. The kitchen was well-equipped. All of the facilities worked as they should. The location is unbeatable. If I could find any weakness, then the bed was somewhat firm for our mid-fifty year-old frames!

Wonderful location, very central, very secure. Close to everything, the apartment was a great home base. The perfect size for four of us. Be prepared for some noise at night, the Lisboans like to play late and can be a bit loud on their walk home from the bars. However, you can drown out most of the noise by closing up the windows. Paulo was extremely accommodating as well as all the staff we encountered from Traveling to Lisbon. Lisbon is an amazing city, and the people are very friendly. If you are thinking of visiting and renting this apartment, do not hesitate.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit (1 Woche) in Lissabon (Sylvester 2008). Die Wohnung ist klasse und scheint im Herzen von Lissabon zu liegen. Alle Ziele sind super mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen und die Haltestellen waren maximal 5 min zu Fuß entfernt. This was a vacation of a lifetime for our family of 6, all adults. We were very comfortable in this cozy apartment. From here we walked to resteraunts, shopping and trains (to beaches north of Lisbon and to the famous "Sintra"). Clean, well equipped apartment in an excellent location for exploring Lisbon. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this apartment to others. Four of us stayed in the apartment for 2 nights for a girlie weekend and we absolutely loved it! The location was perfect and, whilst there was a small amount of noise at night, the double glazing and shutters cut most of it out. It really didn't bother us at all. The apartment is nicely furnished and having 2 bathrooms is a bonus. The booking, payment and arrival process was also very efficient. I hope to return to Lisbon soon and would definitely stay here again.

I can only echo the comments made by other guests. Lovely appartment, well equiped, perfect location for exploring Lisbon, lovely views, smooth check in service and yes, it can get a little bit noisy on Rua Garett either with the occasional small group of people talking somewhat loudly after a night out or the local council cleaning the pavement in the middle of the night! Ah well, a good location in any big city usually comes at a price and overall it was a small price to pay I guess for this wonderful spot. Would definately recommend, unless a quiet night is the main purpose of your trip.

Excellent modern apartment with everything provided . Very good central location with excellent access to travel infrastructure making it very easy to get around Portugal and Lisbon. Only negative would be that it got a bit noisy at night but it wouldnt deter me from staying there again or highly recommending it .

A very nice flat with all imaginable accessorie. Decorated with style and quality. Especially we enjoyed the livingroom and the view over the city. The location is fantastic. During the last days we really understood how everything is just around the corner.

The apartment was new, clean, well appointed and layed out. The service from your staff was wonderful and fun. The location was outstanding. The view into the river was an added bonus. The view and sound of the always changing street scene was always interesting.
