This tastefully decorated condominium is situated in one of the best locations in Aspen...just steps from downtown. It is in Riverview Condominiums, a small complex on the Roaring Fork River. Located at the east end of Hopkins Street, the only traffic is that of cyclists and "walkers" crossing the river on the footbridge adjacent to the property. Less than a 10 minute walk will take you to downtown Aspen, where you can enjoy the many fine shops, world-class restaurants, skiing and year-round entertainment.
Enjoy the beautiful view of Aspen Mountain, summer or winter, from the living room or balcony-a great place for morning coffee or evening cocktails. The year round swimming pool and Jacuzzi afford you the same view. The balcony off the dining room overlooks the Roaring Fork River. For those who desire a quiet evening at home, curl up in front of the fireplace with a good book or watch a movie. Cable TV is also available. Let the sound of the river lull you to sleep at night from one of the three bedrooms. All three bedrooms have twin beds, and the beds in two of the bedrooms can be made into king-size beds.
Aspen is known not only for its world-class skiing, but for culture-seekers and outdoor adventurers alike. Home to many art and film festivals, bluegrass and jazz festivals, opera and cuisine, beauty and health, Aspen has also been recognized as one of the top ten spots in the world for outdoor adventure.
The Winter Season-Within minutes, the free shuttle just out the front door will take you to some of the best skiing/snowboarding in the world with over 4,000 acres of skiing on a single lift ticket - Aspen (Ajax) Mountain, Buttermilk, Aspen Highlands, and Snowmass - for the beginner, intermediate and expert skiers including terrain parks and half pipes! Or just walk the few blocks to the Silver Queen gondola which takes skiers up Aspen Mountain.
The Summer Season-Offers many cultural events including the world famous Aspen Music Festival, summer theatre, opera, film series, and dance. |
