EXCELLENT Beach Front Condo

If we could give this place a "10 star rating" we would! It was beautifully decorated, comfortable and right on the beach. Each morning we'd sit on the balcony, enjoy the gulf views and drink our coffee. It's an easy walk to the pier, restaurants and shopping. There are multiple inland walking trails, lakes and river canoeing nearby. If it rains...there's a brand new movie theater at Pier Park. Tidewater Beach Resort is well managed and in a secure, clean area of Panama City Beach. We will never forget our blissful stay at the "Flip Flop Beach Stop".

Beautiful Waterfront Condo

We really enjoyed our seven week visit. It was a beautiful, well equipped, one bedroom condo. It is located in a new resort, with lots of activities and a well-appointed fitness center. We recommend it highly.

Loved how quiet it was and the view of the ocean was lovely....we have stayed in alot of different condo's and i do have to say yours was one of the most supplied with everything you would need except food and drinks....usually i bring paper goods, and coffee and condiments etc....but was pleasantly surprised to see all that....must say it was very nice and clean and relaxing we will definitely be coming back here again... thank you

Great Condo - Great Location!!

We stayed in this condo the last week of August thru early part of Labor Day week-end. The condo had everything we needed and much more. The kitchen is fully stocked, there are several beach and bath towels to use, and games to play for various ages. The views from the windows are quite amazing too. My family and I spent every morning on the deck taking in the view - we just could not get enough of it! My 4 yr old daughter LOVED the bunk beds, we never had a problem with her going to bed the whole time we were there. Tracy was wonderful to work with and you will not be disappointed in this condo. We hope to make it back down to PCB again and if we do, we will definitely try to rent this condo again!

We had an amazingly restful and MUCH needed vacation at the beach in your wonderful condo. By Friday we were sooo sad we didn't take you up on your offer and stay longer. This was the first time that I can remember of going to the beach and NOT wanting to come home after a couple of days. We have stayed in many condos up and down the Gulf Coast and this one is by far at the top of the list! It had everything we needed from plenty of pots and pans to comfortable beds, even in the bunk area. The view is Great! From the balcony you can see the beach, pool and street which we really liked! The kids loved the keyless entry...and us parents too for that matter, no keys to keep up with! We will definitely be going back to unit 1518!

That is the first time we stayed on that end of Panama City Beach ....and loved it. I am so glad we are going back over Labor Day Weekend. I could not think of one thing that you could change in your Condo. It was clean, tidy and very cozy. I felt like I was at home...whether I was sitting in the living room, or laying in the bedroom. The view is gorgeous....probably the only thing was...I would have loved to take a view at the ocean from the Owners Lounge....maybe next time. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home, and we hope we left it to your satisfaction.

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay in your condo! Loved all of the windows and the fantastic view. The condo felt very private, which didn't make us feel like our son (who hasn't quite found a balance between his inside and outside voice) was bothering anyone. The elevators were super fast, the building was quiet and the location was excellent. We loved how convienient it was to Pier Park- we found ourselves over there every day, sometimes twice a day. We we're so happy to find the huge selection of beach toys you provided. They kept our toddler son entertained the entire time, whether he was on the beach or in the condo. We also didn't expect beach towels to be provided, but what a great surprise! We would highly recommend this place for a small family looking for a quiet place to get away from it all! This is a beautiful, comfortable condo. We felt at home the moment we arrived. We had everything we needed to spend the month relaxing and enjoying the area. The building amenities are a real plus. Loved, loved, loved the condo. It was so quiet, I don't think that anyone was staying on our floor. The view was absolutely gorgeous. I loved having the corner unit with the extra windows. My brother lives 2 block away on Lullwater and he loved sitting on the sofa when the sun went down. The pictures just don't do it justice. I also appreciate your cleaning crew, your condo was one of the cleanest I've stayed in. We also loved the extras (DVD's, games, beach towels, detergent, dish liquid, beach stuff). We stayed in a lot of condos. Some of them leave you one roll of toliet paper per bathroom, nothing extra, no soap, paper towels, dish liquid, etc. We've had a few that left a few extras but nothing as generous as yours.

We just returned from a week at your condo and had a great time. The condo is so cheerful and well decorated. It was our first visit to Panama City Beach so we "played tourist" visiting Pier Park, touring most of the beach area and taking a drive down highway 30-A one evening for dinner. The weather was great with only one windy day. My husband played golf one day and we just lounged at the beach and pool. Having beach chair service was a big plus. The toys, games, movies for kids is a nice touch.

We had so much fun at your condo. We loved everything about it especially, all the little extras, like the many dvds,games,beach towels,beach toys,menus for tons of restraunts,you had just about everything which was so nice. If we might have forgotten something you probably would have had it there. We felt so at home. The veiws from the condo are awesome with all the windows, even though you are on the side and not facing the beach,you still have veiws of the ocean. It was definetly the best place we have stayed in Panama City Beach. The Tidewater is a A+.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay of approx. 3 1/2 months (Jan/mid-April). Condo is very nicely furnished & kitchen has all the necessities (except the ingredients) to prepare a full meal. Nice balcony where you can catch some sun or just sit & watch the waves.

Great November getaway. The condo was everything we hoped it would be. The ocean was beautiful. Even though it was not beach weather we enjoyed the views, lunches over looking the ocean, and sunsets on the beach. Pier Park was great, had a morning of relaxation with a pedicure at So Happy Nails and walked next door to Massage Envy for an hour massage. Be back soon with the kids.

We loved our getaway to Flip Flop Beach Stop! The condo was spacious and nicely decorated. Very clean as well. We felt as though we were at our home away from home for the week! The view was great, allowing us to see dolphins jumping out in the Gulf. We would love to return to this condo when time permits for another beautiful vaca to sunny Panama City Beach, FL!

The condo was very nice and fairly clean. I did have to wash some of the rugs that were very dirty and the dishwasher was full when we got there. Otherwise, it was very nicely docorated and the view was great.

The Flip Flop Beach Stop was an amazingly comfortable and beautiful place to vacation, just steps from the beach front. The king-sized bed is upscale in comfort and linen quality. The condo location is tucked away in a corner nook and private within the Tidewater Resort. The keyless entry and complimentary beach chairs/umbrella are added bonuses to this condo. The owners have thought of all the extras such as beach toys, movies, family games, and flashlights for night time crab hunting on the baech. This condo is ideal as I would recommend it to PCB vacationers!

Our stay at the flip flop beach stop was awesome. The view was absolutely amazing. Our children enjoyed the movies, the card games, and the sand toys that were provided. The beds were so comfortable. I have never been on a vacation that had comfortable beds, so that was great. The resort is gorgeous. The only bad thing was the walkway and 3 of the elevators were closed during our stay. Once everything is up and running there will be no better place to stay. I have vacationed in panama city beach for the last 6 years and this was the best yet!! We will be back.

We stayed at The Flip Flop Beach Stop for an entire week and we have absolutely NO complaints! What an amazing resort and condo! The condo was beautifully furnished yet VERY kid friendly. It is very rare to find a 1 bedroom condo that is a corner unit-the extra city views were an added bonus! The master bedroom was perfect and the bunks were a treat for our 5 year-old. Having a keyless entry to the condo was a plus- one less thing to carry to and from the beach/pool. The complimentary daily beach chairs and umbrella was such a blessing for a family with young children- a few less things to carry. If you want to be on the front row,though, make sure you get up early and reserve them. The second row was just as good- just a few extra steps to the water. The owners of this condo are very organized, professional, and most importantly friendly and willing to help (before our stay as well as throughout our stay). The owners seemed to think of everything possible to make a vacation complete- from the many beach toys, board games, videos and flashlights for crab-hunting to restaurant menus, novels and magazines. We highly reccommend this resort and condo and we can't wait to visit again!

Our week at the Flip Flop Beach Stop was absolutely amazing! We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our honeymoon. The view from the windows and balcony gave us some beautiful pictures of both the beach and the city lights at night. The weather stayed favorable, give or take a few clouds here and there. The condo was very nicely decorated and we had plenty of room to relax. The bed was so comfortable, we didn't want to leave it behind!! The building's facilities are very well placed and we enjoyed both the outdoor pools and the indoor one as well. They were in the process of building the tiki bar outside and I can't wait for a future trip to the Flip Flop Beach Stop to try all the newer amenities. My husband and I didn't want to leave!! We enjoyed every part of our stay and can't wait to come back again! Thank you so much!!

What an awesome vacation for us! Thanks so much for letting us enjoy your condo for a week! It was perfect for us.....The huge bed, the bunk beds for my children, The comfy sofa to watch movies, the great view of the beach, along with the view of the city lights....what more could we have asked for? I was there 5/11 and was so happy when I arrived.The condo is very clean,very cozy. This unit is on the 15th floor, and the view is sooo GREAT of the ocean and the pool. Everything in the condo is very nice, there were even boardgames, and movies..It has internet to connect to,and the Bed is SO GREAT!! I really didnt want to leave. They offer 2beach chairs on the beach, a very nice add on. If anyone is looking for a great place to go relax and get away this is the place to be.. Tidewater is NEW condos, and its on down the main strip.. I will be returning for sure!! Thanks for the great place.

The Flip Flop Beach Stop was great! Great view of the ocean and pool from the balcony. Having the chair and umbrella service on the beach was a real plus. Not many offer this. Our boys ages 11 & 13 also LOVED the fact that there were beach toys provided to use during our stay. They also liked the bunkbeds and said they were confortable, too. I think they were just exhausted from all of the running and playing ALL day long! We'll definitely go again. Thanks!

We just returned home from our stay at the Flip Flop Beach Stop and the only bad thing about our stay was that the time went by much too quickly. We were very impressed with the condo and all the amenities that were provided. We were even furnished with beach chair and umbrella rentals. The bed slept great and the view from the balcony was awesome. It overlooked both the pool and the beach. I speak for my entire family when I say that we highly recommend this condo.

We LOVED our stay at The Flip Flop Beach Stop! Thick, fluffy towels and high-quality sheets were luxurious. The view is incredible, and the condo is tucked away in a separate hallway, so it felt very private. There was even a Pack and Play for my baby to sleep in! I highly recommend staying here - it was clean, all the appliances worked, and the location can't be beat!

We really enjoyed our stay at PCB. The condo is beautiful. The beach is clean and the water is sparkling. The location is quiet, but within walking distance to the new outdoor Pier Park mall which has plenty of great shops, restaurants and nitelife. We are looking forward to our next visit!!!

The particular unit I stayed in is really beautiful, and we had a great time despite a few problems. The property is very new and many things aren't working properly yet. There is a tremendous problem with the elevators--there were only 7 operating elevators and 3 of them were comandeered every day by owners moving their furniture in and by painters/construction workers, so we frequently had to wait 10-20 minutes for an elevator. There is a movie theater being built on the bottom floor, which I thought is extremely neat for evenings or when it rains. There are 2 huge pools (they weren't heated though), and 2 whirlpools (not working yet), but I think all these problems will be straighten out shortly and it will be awesome! I hope to go back in the summer and I would definitely stay here. I forgot...our unit had a huge flat screen tv in the master bedroom which was pretty awesome for watching DVD's late at night, and 2 very cute little bunk beds in their own sort of room (no door, but a private little nook) that my girls enjoyed very much. Also the kitchen is well stocked with appliances and cookware, and seating would accomodate 7 for meals - 5 around the bar and 2 off to the side at its own little table. Another big TV in the living room. Beautiful place! Watch out if you have a fear of heights though--its 22 stories up--a daunting view from the balcony!!!! Oh, and one more thing--there was no sign saying 'Tidewater Beach' up yet. If you put the address into google maps/directions, you will find two buildings with 2 different addresses--one is the separate parking garage across the street. As hard as it is to get across a street in Panama City Beach, this place is blessed with a 2nd floor walk over the street so you don't have to risk your life trying to cross that busy street!!

Owner response:As of the end of March 2007, the Resort is in the very final stages of contstruction (no loud noises, just punch list stuff, elevator funcitonality & some ammenitites) & new owners are moving in daily. Issues with the elevators and signage will be addressed soon from what we're told by the HOA.
