The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
We enjoy being able to get away from the demands of work and home. Paddling the Toccoa river with the whole family is our favorite way to spend an afternoon followed by a night at the drive-in movie in Blueridge.

The cabin was well maintained and beautiful. We loved the bear decor. It is private with its own lovely view of the mountains. The kitchen is well-equipped and we weren't ever in need of anything. The photos don't do justice to the wrap around deck! This place is fantastic! We'll definitely be back. We had a fun time in the historic area of Blue Ridge which was just 20 minutes away. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!

We didn’t even know we needed the relaxation we got at Bear Tales. It was so beautiful and peaceful. We were close enough to Murphy to go out to eat (we LOVED Brothers Restaurant), but the kitchen was so well stocked, it wasn't necessary to leave the entire time. Pick up groceries in nearby Blue Ridge or Wal-mart in Murphy. Cabin is close to Ocoee and Hiwassee Rivers. There are lots of great outdoor activities close by, but we enjoyed doing NOTHING. The house is perfect for two couples with children, but we had it all to ourselves (just the two of us) and it was just right.

We had another wonderful stay at the cabin. We went whitewater rafting on the Ocoee; using our favorite outfitter, Raft One; we tubed the Toccoa; rafted the Hiwassee; we went to the "Pickin' in the Park at Horse Shoe Bend part; we watched the water being released in the Ocoee; and just had a great time. We also ate at Brother's, Herb's, and went to the Swan Drive-In theatre. We can't wait to visit again soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The peace and quiet was just what we needed to reconnect after a hectic season in our marriage. Before we left the cabin we were already checking the calendar to find out when we could come back! It is a beautiful place.

Dear Jimmy and Jennifer, We are so glad we finally got to get away to your new place. It is more than we expected. I thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the east side of the deck every morning with the kids to watch the sunrise over the mountains. What a beautiful sight. We could not have timed our drive to the Ocoee any better; we arrived just as they were releasing water from the dam and we were able to watch to water and the rafters coming down. What a sight. And, our horseback riding adventure, it was fun until the next day of soreness. Thanks for sharing your mountain retreat with us. We will be back soon!

Watching the sun rise over the mountains was such a great way to start each morning. You could truly appreciate all of God's splendor from the gracious deck. This house was perfect. What a great way to have a "get a way" weekend. It was close enough to town to enjoy great food and shopping. We cannot wait to go back.

We thoroughly recommend this cabin for your vacation! It is absolutely beautiful and very clean with all the amenities we needed and wanted. The view is breathtaking. We enjoyed the nearby tubing and watching whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River. The nearby restaurants we tried were very good. This is also a great place to getaway and relax!
