Hello Vivian and David, I can't thank you enough! You saved my weekend with this last minute cabin rental. I have rented cabins all over CA and OR and this is by far the BEST cabin I have ever rented. I only wish I could have stayed longer. All we talked about the whole weekend was how great this cabin is. My only complaint was having to leave such a wonderful and beautiful place. This cabin really has it all! From the fireplace to the beautifull deck outside, to the spacious rooms, and such WONDERFUL OWNERS. This cabin is AMAZING and you guys are AWESOME!! Thank you so much!!!

I LOVE your cabins! This time we stayed in Log.. a real log cabin! It was beautiful. We love how the cabin-y decorating theme chosen was so warm and cozy with lots of unique things to look at. The deck was perfect size for our group and small dog! I wish I was still there!! We cooked a turkey in the oven and had a great time. Thanks again!

Hello, Vivian and David. We had a lovely stay in your great log cabin. We used to rent a vacation home at Tahoe while our kids were growing up, so have had quite a taste of mountain living. I must say that yours is one of the nicest if not the fanciest. What set it apart for me is the feeling that it is, in fact, your home, not just a commercial enterprise. The spirit of laughter and good vibes abounds. Of course, your taste in decor in the house is so compatible with mine- felt at home right away. My grand-daughter loved the kids rooms and claimed it as her own immediately. Everything worked perfectly. An especial thank you for providing toilet paper! This was an item we forgot- could have been a disaster. The only problem I had was that I'm too short to reach beyond the first shelf in the cabinets. Thankfully both of the kids are much taller. Had a wonderful stay at your cabin... as usual the Bigelows rent something that doesn't feel like a rental. Had an early Thanksgiving dinner there. Small but well stocked kitchen worked very nicely for our bunch. Beautiful fireplace and deck. Furnishings were very nice. Will rent from again and again.. if possible.

David and Vivian, We always enjoy coming to Mi Wuk and so enjoy your charming cabin. We always enjoy the lake, quaint Twain Harte (we went to a pancake breakfast given by the fire-fighters). I won a lovely basket of jams, salsa, and condiments with their raffle. We went on some hikes and fishing at the fish farm. We caught 7 rainbow trout and barbecued them (so good). Unfortunately the fish won't even come close to my bait. It seems to scare them away. We are even considering buying a vacation home in this area as we get closer to retring. Dear David and Vivian, Thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful cabin. Our stay served as a much needed respite! We spent our days lougning on Pinecrest and Sword Lake. We absolutely loved using the boat and floaty mattress. We had a great time...we loved channel-surfing the t.v...never do that at home. The hot showers after a hike...perfect!! The cabin was wonderful. We will return. It was a lot of fun. We rented a party boat at the lake. It was so peaceful here. This cabin of yours is so cozy and such a wonderful place to visit in the winter. My 11-year-ol son was elated to find SpongeBob on T.V. But he had an even better time playing at the SnowPark in Leland. His dad and I, on the other hand, had a fire going within minutes after we arrived, and popped a bottle of wine open.........aaah!! The trees and fire crackling remind me of my home back in Oregon...wha a fantastic place to get away from it all you have her......thank you. AND FROM OUR FRIENDS THAT JOINED US: Thankyou so much for sharing your cabin. Our 4-month-old baby was fascinated by the fireplace...and was drooling over the homemade cookies we baked while here. Our 2-year-old had a blast walking the grounds and the deck with a special stick he found. My husband and I camped out upstairs with the boys upstairs and felt right at home. We have special memories of taking them to the snow for the first time. What a great spot you have!!

Dear Vivian and David, Our family lived in the San Joaquin Valley for serveral years before moving to Texas a few years ago. We didn't realize we would miss real mountains and big trees as much as we do, so when we come back to visit we always try to spend time in places like your wonderful cabin. It lived up to all of our expectations, and we leave with no regrets other than we wish we could have stayed longer. The kids made snowmen, went sledding, and a built a snow cave in your front yard. Texas is big and known for big things, and we enjoy it as our new home, but we will always miss places like this. Thanks for everything.

Dear Vivian and David, Having Christmas in your cabin was absolutely perfect!! Although it didn't snow here, we had plenty skiing at Dodge Ridge and sledding at Leland's. We cut our own Christmas Tree at Sierra Glen Apple Ranch (they have the best apple cider I have ever had!) Your "kid zone" with its long table was perfect for all of our crafts. We made all of our own ornaments and strung popcorn for the tree. Thank you so much for all your kindness, your personal touches really made a difference! We will recommend your cabin to all our friends, and we will definitely be back!

Another wonderful stay at your beautiful, mountain home. This is the only REAL log cabin we have ever found up here. Dodge Ridge is open early this year so we have really been enjoying the skiing and went to the swap meet up there yesterday...can't believe it is winter here already!! Our dog is loving hanging out on the deck with full run of the fenced backyard as well...he can't believe it. Thank you for keeping your prices so low. We had the buffet at Diamond Jim's this visit...now there is a deal. We will be back in January for some more skiing. We always hate to go home. Thank you.

Dear Vivian and David, This was our second year spending Christmas at your cabin. When we arrived on Christmas eve, ther was lots of rain, but no snow. When we woke up Christmas morning, everything was coveredin snow, and it was snowing pretty hard. We couldn't have asked for a better surprise. Our two children (ages 4 and 8) wre so excited!! We had a wonderful three days here!! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. I know we will be back next year!!

Now that we have been to the cabin twice, we feel we must make comment. It is beginning to feel like our second home with a visit this summer and just getting back from a ski trip. My sister and her family just left to go back to North Carolina, and I was thinking I should add a comment about our wonderful trip to your cabin. With my wife and two daughters we were quite a crew! My three-year-old caught her first fish at Pinecrest Lake. We all loved Diamond Jim's for dinner. Next time we are panning for gold....too much to do for only 5 days. We bought the cabin in April and just had our first guest. This is from her e-mail to us on June 29, 2002. We are enjoying this cabin so much. I am here with my children and my daughter's best friend. This cabin is wonderful. I can see why you enjoy it so much. My boys especially love it. I enjoy SO much as a mother watching my children enjoying each others company so much. The Mexican Restaurant you suggested has been tried and approved.
