Ideal for families with children, couples or individuals.

Two full bedrooms, plus both a back sunroom and front sunroom. King bed in first bedroom. Vintage maple suite with Double bed in second room. Double bed in back private sunroom. Front sunroom with Twin daybed and double futon couch for fourth sleeping option. Linens provided. Large bathroom with bathtub and shower.

Year Purchased: 2007

We are a family of world travelers, now living our travel dreams through our guests. Our family lives in the downstairs unit, a married couple with two children, ages 6 and 3.

Why the Owner Chose St. Paul

We bought this wonderful duplex after taking a year off to travel with two very young children. We wanted to be near colleges (I grew up on a campus in California), with walking and biking opportunities (we bike every day we can). We still travel to visit family, and like being close to the airport, as well as both St. Paul and Minneapolis downtowns.

    • We stayed in Amber & Brooke's "vacation" home for a month & found it to be extremely comfortable & a home away from home. They have gone to a lot of trouble with detail & we didn't want for anything. The bikes were a great source of fun & exercise,& we did many miles on them. This place is a gem & I am hoping if we don't return we will be able to recommend it to some of our friends. Joan We really enjoyed our stay (for almost a month while I worked at U of M) in Portland Av St Paul. The house is great - spacious, reasonably priced and Amber and Brooke were friendly, flexible and accommodating - undoubtedly the highlight of our 2 and a half months travelling around the world.
