This apartment is in a lovely old St. Paul duplex, and is located in a great area. It's close to colleges, downtown St. Paul and easy access to highways to get around. Like many old houses, it has its creaks and squeaks. The owners were very helpful during our stay, and clearly wanted us to have a good visit. Given that the area received several inches of snow during our SPRING visit, we appreciated that! And after we left, we realized we had forgotten a piece of jewelry. Amber took the time to find it and mail it to us.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

I have never felt so welcome in a vacation rental! The owners treated us like old friends. When we arrived late at night with our two year old, one of the owners helped us carry our bags upstairs and offered us some homemade chicken soup! They let us know when there was a snow emergency and gave us the garage door opener, putting their car out in the snow! While we were there, we celebrated our son's 2-year old birthday, and one of the kids from downstairs came up to give him a homemade present. On top of that, the rental was really cozy and stocked with all sorts of toys, games, and books. The location is convenient to St. Paul and Minneapolis. We will try to stay there every time we return.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This was our second time to spend Thanksgiving week here. There was plenty of room for our family and a sister. The place was vey clean. We were able to prepare a traditional Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen. Whenever we needed extra cookware the landlords were very accommodating and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. We visited the Guthrie theater, the Mall of America, and the University of Minnesota.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We loved this house. It was perfect for our group. We had a family gathering at my sister's nearby and we just have too many people to fit. This was the perfect overflow. The living areas are especially large and comfortable. The screen porch room was a little bit crowded for the couple that drew the short straw, but it would be the perfect place for kids. :) Amber was helpful and sweet. We will definitely stay again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We gathered for our son's graduation at Hamline University. With the addition of the sunroom room downstairs, we slept 9 people ages 13 to 79 (with one bathroom). It was an excellent place to stay. The location was convenient. The owners were friendly and helpful with suggestions for eating local and ethnic foods. We were also able to host a few of our son's professors and friends for an afternoon gathering. It was clean and the kitchen was stocked well enough so we were able to make simple meals and snacks there.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My husband, daughter and two children ages 2 and 4 and I had a delightful few days in St Paul as we stayed in the top floor of this well located home. Nice neighborhood, very roomy and well stocked with everything. Amber went out of her way to provide children's items: toys, beds, rails, and helpful directions. The location is perfect to get to many attractions. A walk around the block or two is delightful. I would highly recommend this rental and look forward to staying there again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My husband and I and our 18-month-old twins had the pleasure of renting this home during our stay in the Twin Cities. Staying in the flat was truly the highlight of our vacation. Amber was very responsive in communicating prior to our departure and she and her family were so lovely upon arrival. They made us feel right at home and their rental property had absolutely everything that our family needed and more. Our flight out to Minnesota was quite stressful for our young family but the moment we walked in the door we were right at home. The home was stocked with fantastic toys for the kids and tons of space for each of us to enjoy. The kitchen was perfect and complete with toddler dishes and highchairs. The bed in the Master bedroom was incredibly comfortable and there was two pack-and -plays for the kids. We all slept incredibly well during our entire stay (hooray!). The home is located within walking distance to multiple coffee shops and eateries as well as Whole Foods which was perfect for stocking up on toddler staples. The on-site laundry was a lifesaver due to a mishap with raspberries on the airplane and Amber was incredibly helpful with identifying a shaded toddler friendly park nearby. We visit the Twin Cities every year and this was by far the most comfortable and convenient accommodation that we have rented. We will certainly be back. Thank you for all of your thoughtful touches and patience with our noisy/busy family, we appreciate your amazing hospitality and kindness. This apartment is magnificent in space and amenities. We had a family gathering and the apartment was more than spacious for our needs of 7 during the day. The beds were extremely comfortable and the renters were really friendly. I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone. We will rent it again if we have our gathering in this area again without question. The renters met all of our needs including baby equipment and toys for our new grandson. It was so awesome of us. This is a great rental worthy of 5 stars!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2007
About the owner: We are a family of world travelers, now living our travel dreams through our guests. Our family lives in the downstairs unit, a married couple with two children, ages 10 and 7.
Why the Owner Chose St. Paul:
We bought this wonderful duplex after taking a year to travel with two very young children. We wanted to be near colleges (I grew up on a campus in California), with walking and biking opportunities (we bike every day we can). We still travel to visit family, and like being close to the airport, as well as both downtown St. Paul and Minneapolis.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
Walking to everything, easy bus access and immediate access to some of the best bicycling in the Twin Cities.
