  Our stay here was delightful. We were met by a most engaging, warm woman who not only familiarized us with the apt but with the city itself! We were not disappointed. Listing is completely accurate. Apt is walking distance to multiple restaurants and small food markets, literally around the corner. Several blocks to Paral.lel and Las Ramblas. It was safe and easy to get around Barcelona from this location The apartment itself was welcoming, nicely decorated and well-maintained. WIFI and laundry convenient and efficient. We stayed here with our son and his girlfriend who stayed in the loft space. We all would stay here again and highly recommend it to travelers of all ages. Owners informative and accomodating.

  We had an amazing time with the personal cooking experience in the flat with Chef Alvaro. Our teen boys NEVER cook and he got them chopping and stirring. He was wonderful to adjust the meal (paella) to avoid a shell-fish allergy (he substituted pork ribs and rabbit). It was nice to have a relaxed meal in the flat and learn how to make some Spainish dishes. Plus Chef Al is a fascinating well-traveled guy. If you stay here or at one of their other properties, I would HIGHLY suggest you take advantage of this opportunity. As to the flat itself, we were a family of 4 with tall teen boys. They liked the loft area. It was nice to have a kitchen and living area. The only issue with the flat for our family is the loft, which means that the master bedroom has a glass-walled partition but the top of the wall is open, so it's not completely private. This is probably not an issue with younger kids. The street noise can get a bit loud, although perhaps in the summer, the A/C might drown out the noise. The neighborhood is nice with great cafes, food shops, bakery, and access to the metro. It is a good 15 minute walk to Ramblas through the Raval area (which I would not feel comfortable walking alone or at night). Cabs are easy and cheap. It's nice to be in a true local neighborhood. The price was cheaper than getting two hotel rooms and we had a kitchen access. Elizabeth and Esther were wonderful to deal with and answered all our questions. Esther, in particular, checked us in and shared all her local suggestions. Great time.

  My family and I were wishing to visit Barcelona over the Christmas holidays, as daughter Grace is studying at University of Barcelona. We did not wish to spend Christmas in a hotel and so were thrilled to find this lovely apartment! Our stay was delightful, and the apartment colorful, cozy and accommodated our needs well. Everything that we needed was made available to us and we would recommend it to others.

  Elizabeth was very nice and the location was great. It is situated direct beneath Montjuic in a very authentic/local part of town. It is super close to 2 different metros and about a 10 minute walk to Las Ramblas. Also, some great tapas restaurants right down the street: Quimet and Quimet for a bit of a fancier but still affordable tapas experience, Taberna Blai was our favorite for good drinks/tapas, great prices, and El Rincon de Cava for SUPER cheap cava after dinner. We had a a great time and strongly recommend staying at Elizabeth’s place in lovely Montjuic.

  The apartment was very nice and cozy, it was also very clean and perfect for us. It is situated in a very authentic/local part of town and the metro is very close. The flat is in a great location and is very authentic. Elizabeth was very welcoming, polite and helpful and even gave us some tips on where to eat. We had a wonderful stay and would definitly recommend the place to anyone.

  We had a great stay at Elizabeth’s place in Barcelona. Her husband Jacob met us at the apartment and had a list of recommendations for food and things to do. Their apartment was at a convenient location as we could easily walk to Las Ramblas. It is also a mere 2 minutes walk from the nearest metro. Also, a private chef came to the apartment and we all prepared a full menu of Catalan food. He was super friendly and all of us were encouraged to participate in the food preparation. Would recommend to anyone!

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Barcelona. The apartment was located on the second floor with just two easy flights of stairs to climb. It was bright, clean and well laid out - exactly as shown. The location was perfect and within easy walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores, subway, waterfront and Las Ramblas. Elizabeth and Jacob were a pleasure to deal with and answered all our questions - they always communicated promptly and even booked a taxi for us upon departure. The only negative we found was that we usually went to bed around 10 p.m. and were frequently awakened by the outside noise between the hours of 11 p.m. and 01:00 a.m. Otherwise, it was the perfect vacation spot.   We were 6 adults who had an wonderful and comfortable stay in the apartment. We found the apartment as advertised and very clean. It certainly met our expectations in all ways. It was very close to the metro and that allowed us to travel affordably all around Barcelona. Also nearby were great bakeries, grocery stores and restaurants. We especially enjoyed the safe neighbourhood and the walks in Mountjuic park near by.

  We enjoyed our stay at Elizabeths very much. The location was fabulous as we walked to most locations or to the metro. The location was so good that we hardly spent any actual time at the apartment. The apartment was well equiped. The churros and chocolate down the street were excellent. Really a great experience.

  Sorry for taking awhile to provide a review, but our 6 person family really LOVED staying in this flat! The surrounding area is great at night with a long pedestrian street about 75m away, with dozens of restaurants and bars that are full of locals all eating, drinking, and having fun till late (no, you can't hear the noise from the flat). We had fun each night going down there and sitting in the tables outside and just feeling the energy of Barcelona! It was about a 15 minute walk to Las Ramblas, Gothic Qtr, and the more touristy areas. We started each day great, with warm churros and cafe con leche at the churro cafe 1 block away. The flat is comfortable and had enough space for our family. The owner, Jacob, met us at the flat on arrival and gave us a nice intro to the city including a map! Definitely recommended if you like to be in an area where locals live and feel for a few days like you actually "live" in beautiful Barcelona!
