  Pros: Good Destin location in a nice gated community. The beach was beautiful, with good umbrella/chair prices compared to other beach locations. The beach is controlled well for noise and things allowed on the beach. The house is laid out well, with nice decor and furnishings. Nice community pool. The maintenance folks are extremely responsive. Cons: Alot of maintenance issues: the two bathroom drains on first floor were severely blocked, the dishwasher overflowed, the gas grill would not light and was extremely dirty, had to reprogram the wireless router several times and then had bad coverage on third floor. The driveway is not big enough for the allowed three vehicles, especially if you have mini-vans. (rules do not allow parked vehicles on road at night). Renters can not use the garage. The televisions are out of date, except in Master bedroom. The television in great room had constant static. Overall: Nice house, but starting to need some maintenance/upgrades. Good house to rent if you have a family with alot of kids, but not for several families getting together for a vacation. Considering the rental price with taxes, cleaning fees, admin fees, and insurance, you can get a larger home in the same community for the same price.

  I would not recommend Sea Princess to a friend or relative. This property needs some upgrades and the need some adjustments for 10 people to be staying there. We have stayed in this gated community before and we weren't totally satisfied. I will say that the management responded to our needs except for one, the overhead fan in the blue & white bedroom never did work and they never responded for that one. Old TV that was snowy on almost all channels. Not enough chairs in the dining area, only 9 and only 6 chairs in the gas grill area, fan did not work in this area also. No beach chairs and no access to the garage, we lost power in a few of the electrical outlets in the kitchen area. Management had to gain access to the garage for the circuit breaker to reset it. Not enough blankets for the pull out couch upstairs. No broom and dust pan, only a kitchen electric sweeper which did not do the job. All in all our family had a wonderful time dispite some problems. We will return in this gated community again but will not rent the Sea Princess. Owners, please update your property.

  A very nice home and extremely comfortable for our family of 7. The house was clean, a short walk to the beach. The gated community and beach area were not crowded even on the big Memorial Day weekend. We enjoyed every part of the vacations. The only thing I would have changed is the TV's. We enjoy watching movies and I would have liked to have had a large HD screen in the den. Most of the rooms had very small TV's and the one if the den was small for that size room.

  My stay at the Sea Princess was exceptional. The house was well furnished with everything we needed. The beach was great with beautiful aqua water. The walk was minimal and being a gated community allowed my kids to walk to and from the beach. Great Beach house!

  Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.
