The island is only accessible by boat or private plane. A golf cart is included with the rental for exploring the island. The two bedroom two bath cottage has a deck and an outside shower. This is a great rental value for two couples or a family looking for a relaxing holiday.
Local Description: With 60% of the island protected as a state park preserve, swimming, shelling, fishing, and bird watching are favorite activities. Guides are available for fishing trips and a water taxi can take you to Sanibel or Captiva Island. Visit the beautiful beach at Cayo Costa and have a 'cheeseburger in paradise' at Cabbage Key. There are only two restaurants and grocery shopping is limited. Stop at Publix on the way to the ferry or have your groceries delivered to your vacation home.
