Condo is located on Isla Del Sol (Island of the Sun), which is anchored by an 18-hole golf course that covers the entire island. It is on Boca Ciega Bay and has a private beach and is steps away from a private, heated pool and whirlpool/spa.

The Island is ideally located close to Tampa Airport, St. Pete Beach, Sarasota, and Tampa. Disney World, in fact, is only 80 minutes north on interstates.
Our ground floor condo (which is maintained in like-new condition) has two bedrooms, two baths, living/dining room, kitchen, breakfast area, and ensuite laundry. It sleeps six utilizing the sleeper sofa. It is completely equipped, very beautifully furnished, and excellently maintained by a local property management company. If any service need occurs, a call to our management company will resolve the issue. We continually upgrade the unit and it is truly immaculate. Ceramic tile was recently laid throughout excluding the two bedrooms in which new carpteting was just laid. A reserved parking space is located at the front door of the condo. Pets and smoking are not allowed.

Everyone refers to the Island as a paradise because of the location/amenities that are so unique and attractive. The Island itself allows for a level of privacy that is not available in the surrounding area even though that area is readily accessible. The Shoppers Village on the Island provides the basics including a post office, a coffee shop, two smaller restaurants, an upscale women's clothing store, a cleaners, a bank and a few offices occupied by real estate agencies, etc. It maintains the "village" atmosphere as opposed to a strip mall.

Your time on the Island will be constantly enhanced by the numerous pastimes available to residents in condos situated on Boca Ciega Bay including dazzling sunsets with the Don Ce Sar Hotel as the backdrop, boats cruising to and from the Gulf of Mexico, the drawbridge between the island and St. Pete Beach, the parades of dolphins in the bay, the tropical birds feeding in the bay/on the Island and similar attractions.
A 40,000 square foot country club/marina/golf clubhouse was built in 2001 that further ensures the island's viability as a first class resort facility.

Actually the island is adjacent, via drawbridges to St. Pete Beach/Pass-A-Grille and Terra Verde/Fort DeSoto State Park.
Fort DeSoto State Park consists of world-class beaches, camping/picnic areas/playgrounds, snack bars, fishing piers, bicycling/skating paths, the original fort, etc. It is an ideal, added treat that probably isn't duplicated anywhere else in Florida.
St. Pete Beach is comprised of a number of small (un)incorporated beach communities that include Pass-A-Grille, Treasure Island, Redington Beach, etc., which border the Gulf all the way north to Clearwater.

St. Petersburg, Tampa and Sarasota offer "big league" entertainment venues that are too numerous to list. The more outstanding, however, would include NFL Football, Major League Baseball with the related Grapefruit League, both professional as well as amateur playhouse productions including the St. Petersburg Playhouse which is excellent (less than 10 minutes from the condo), Ringling Museum and related playhouses in Sarasota, State ran dog races with limited casino facilities, etc.
