This home was the perfect place to stay. It is only about a three mile drive to float the Comal river and is easily accessible and right off of the highway. The home is cozy and we absolutely loved the layout of the property. The river access and rope swing was a lot of fun for our group. The downstairs gameroom was an awesome area for us to play games, grill and rest. We took our tubes down to the river and tied up to the posts and enjoyed our relaxing view and area for hours. We had a wonderful stay here and we will definitely be back with our friends who also enjoyed the stay and will bring our families next time.
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

The grandchildren and the family had a wonderful time swiming and fishing.The fish were bitting.The water skiing was awesome.The home was very comfortable and meet all our needs.This home made it where the whole family could get together in one spot.Hope to make this a yearly event.Thanks for making this place available.We spent a day at Schlitterbahn.Great place for fun with all ages.Greune had Great night entertainment.

Our overall experiance was fair. For the money our group paid for 2 nights you would think the A/C would actually work. This is Texas and it is hotter than hell. The main floor only has A/C vents in a few areas(not the bedrooms) making for a awful sleeping conditions in the heat. Now downstairs in gameroom/bedroom it was cold because there were several A/C vents there. One of the bathrooms the shower head was broken so you had to hold the shower sprayer in your head for your entire shower making it very difficult to wash your hair or shave your legs. The fridge also did not keep the food cold. We had to throw away a bunch of food we bought because of that. Other than those issues the house was right on the river with very nice views.
Owner response:After speaking to, Sondra, the person that booked, she had a different response to her family's stay. They had a great time and while the shower head holder, had been broken, she dismissed it as no issue. I was not aware of any issues until after their stay and the comment was placed. Had I been notified, I would have fixed most if not all the concerns that her friend wrote up. The shower head has been replaced. The refrigerator works fine and has no issues. As with all refrigerators when large groups come and fill the refrigerator to capacity with hot food and drinks, they are taxed. First thing most people do is turn the temperature to the coldest setting which is the wrong thing to do as it closes the vent between the refrigerator and the freezer. Thus causing the opposite of what they are wanting to accomplish. Given time the refrigerator will catch up and do its job if the thermostat is left alone. We also have this listed and discussed as things to remember in all our homes. Regarding the A/C. While this is an unusually hot Summer this is the first time, in 3 years, anyone has had any issue with the A/C. There are vents in every bedroom in this home. Please remember to contact the manager, during your stay, of any home or hotel you rent as most of us are quick to respond and work to remedy any issues!
