They have a home in El Porto, and have three Yorkies and a parrot named Apollo. They enjoy all outdoor activities, including hiking, skiing, and Steve hang glides.

Owner was very accommodating for a last minute holiday weekend. Perfect for couple or small family...and very dog friendly. It is on the El Segundo border of Manhattan Beach, so if you are looking for something near the Pier, this isn't for you. What it does offer is a comfortable, clean, well-appointed/stocked and beach-close place from which to enjoy your Manhattan Beach experience. Owner is obviously quality-oriented, from the AV equipment to the kitchen, to the patio area and the linens. Parking is a bit challenging, but only if you need to use your car frequently during your stay (we didn't, so it wasn't a problem). If you are a value renter like we are, this is a wonderful choice. We look forward t returning.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, pet owners, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children.

To say this unit is amazing would be an understatement. Everything you would ever need on a beach vacation is provided. The owners really do a superb job of making you feel at home. There was even a lovely wine/cheese/goodie basket waiting for us upon our arrival. The owner followed up via phone shortly after we had arrived to make sure we were comfortable. I am already trying to figure out when and how I can get my family down there for a longer stay!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, pet owners, tourists without a car, families with young children.
