It is ideal for one or two couples with up to two children sleeping on the queen size pullout sofa in the living room. We acquired this lovely two-bedroom, two bathroom property located just three blocks from the historic plaza and a block from the Convention Center and O'Keeffe Museum and extensively remodeled it, with two lovely ensuite bathrooms with large tiled walk-in showers, a renovated kitchen with custom cabinetry, stainless steel appliances and granite counters, six-person dining room, living room with wood-burning, kiva-style fireplace and many other custom touches, including the spacious new private walled brick patio, perfect for relaxing afternoons. You’ll have complete control over your home and can use the kitchen to cook for the entire group whenever you’d like. Having rented from one of the interested parties before, we were certain we would love the accommodations and we did. Two parents and two adult children shared the house for Christmas week and we were treated to a wonderful time complete with snowfall on Christmas Eve. It's close to everything downtown so we walked to concerts, restaurants, and museums. Staff was helpful in locating firewood and picking up garbage when the regular service was messed up due to Christmas week. We would highly recommend the place to families, two couples, or a group of old friends. You won't be sorry!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This was our second year staying in the Sage House, and we loved it just as much this time as the last. It has a comfortable elegance and is located so close to the Plaza that it's really easy to get to lots of shops, museums, and wonderful restaurants on foot. The Lensic Performing Arts Center is also nearby, where two years in a row we've seen outstanding performances. I don't know a better place to stay in Santa Fe, for you have the convenience of being downtown, yet it's only a short drive to the Canyon Road arts community, the Ten Thousand Waves Spa, Ski Santa Fe, and Museum Hill. Also, the people who rent the Sage House are extremely nice and accommodating. You really can't go wrong staying at the Sage House.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful stay at the Sage House. The price was quite reasonable. Proximity to the plaza was great. Parked the car and just cruised around. We didn't cook because there are just way too many places to eat. A quiet and pleasant get away place was just what we were looking for. Thank you.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My family found the Sage House to be beautifully-decorated, clean, and located very near the Plaza, the center of the city's activities. We could walk to many fine restaurants, museums (including the Georgia O'Keefe Museum), and the Lensic Performing Arts Center and could easily catch a tram for an overview of Santa Fe. Of special interest was the tram tour of Canyon Road, a huge artists' community featuring paintings, bronze sculptures, etc. Also, it was a short drive from the Sage House to the beginning of the ski route (Artist Road), and along the way was the wonderful Ten Thousand Waves spa. There is a nice ski shop, called Alpine Sports, located close to the Sage House if you need to purchase clothing and equipment or rent ski equipment. Sage House was the perfect place for our family's vacation. I can recommend it without reservation.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: Hi! I hope that, after you stay at the Sage House, you'll feel the way I first felt walking into it: it has a special, quiet, peaceful feeling. We kept and refinished the old oak floors and its historic bones, but the rest has been updated to a very high standard and is really lovely. Stellar location in a quiet area just off the Plaza, great bathrooms, top-notch kitchen, perfect outdoor spaces...Sage just has it all! Enjoy!
