My wife and I stayed here a week in early September (turned out to be perfect beach weather and no summer crowds). The experience wast a total pleasure from start to finish. The owner is friendly, accommodating and low-key; she was available and attentive throughout. The house itself is true to the pictures posted here. It is bright and airy and has a great wraparound porch. The house is on a secluded hill in the woods (look out for deer and turkeys); it is a very short drive to bay beaches and about 10 minutes from ocean beaches. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet retreat in the Hamptons.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.
