This historic cottage (circa 1850) is in the heart of old town Niagara on the Lake. Treasures from our Moroccan travels decorate the home. Enjoy the veranda while the horse drawn carriages pass by.

-Shaw Theatres a three-five minute walk away
-Gas barbeque and Moroccan tiled table (sits eight) in your own private Moroccan Garden the garden was completed in Spring 2007 and is truly delightful
-Hardwood floors & hand knotted Persian rugs throughout
-A large dining/living room with lots of windows and a gas fireplace
-Main floor den with Cable TV, VCR/DVD, CD/cassette sound system plus many books
-A five piece bathroom on the second floor, two piece bath on the main and three piece bath downstairs
-Three bedrooms, two with Queen beds one with two twin beds plus a sofa bed in the den
-Complete kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave oven, coffee maker, and dishwasher
-Natural gas heat, central air conditioning, washer and dryer
-All linens supplied (Sheets and towels)
Niagara Falls is just a 20 minute drive away. The drive takes you through the wine region and past several of the area's 50 plus wineries, all of which will welcome you in for a tasting. The Shaw festival is at the heart of any Niagara on the Lake visit with plays by George Bernard Shaw and contemporaries. Go to the Shaw
web site to view a list of plays and buy tickets. Buy your tickets early however as they sell out quickly.
The war of 1812 between the British and the USA was fought right on this ground. The town was burnt by retreating Americans in December 1813 (We have forgiven them!) I find Pottery shards whenever I am
gardening. Walk or bike the flat streets and enjoy the history.

My wife and I love Niagara on the Lake and we love to restore historic homes. We also like to see people enjoying their vacation. We have been able to accomplish all of the above by purchasing lovely old homes in the heart of old town. We treat them like our own second home and decorate them the way our own home is decorated.
