Just came back from a 5 week stay at Lori's 1 bedroom condo. My husband and I loved everything about Misiones, the view from the balcony is spectacular, and the condo had everything a person needs for a great vacation, while we were there the fridge broke down, and unlike all the horror stories about things taking forever to get fixed, the maintenance guy came first thing next day and had it working again in under an hour. The place looks even better than in the pictures, and was clean and very nicely decorated. The pool and bar were great, we spent lots of fun times there. The two beaches were awesome, we especially loved watching the surfers at the surfer beach. We rented a car and went to Chilano Bay, (beautiful). San Jose Del Cabo's Dolphins, Todos Santos, and of course downtown Cabo many times. We had pizza an beer a few times upstairs at Mona Lisa's, (downstairs is for fine dining) and watched the beautiful sunsets over the arches. (breathtaking). We met Lori who is the nicest lady as are all the condo owners we met there. I would definitely recommend this condo to friends or relatives, and would love to rent it again ourselves, asap. (Everything in the description of this condo was 100% accurate).Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

My wife and I just returned from a week at Lori's one bedroom condo at Misiones del Cabo, and we can report emphatically that we had a wonderful week in paradise! We were impressed with the condo and especially the incredible view from the balcony - we started each day with our coffee mugs in our hands watching the sunrise over the deep blue Pacific Ocean! Having now returned from our first trip to Cabo, we would recommend it to anyone looking for a warm, relaxing vacation spot. We felt very safe and had a great time driving up to Todos Santos (Hotel California), east to San Jose (to walk the historic downtown), and over to Cabo to walk around the marina and experience the shopping and the nice restaurants. We definitely recommend a sunset dinner at the Mona Lisa restaurant on-site. We won't spoil it by writing any more than that! Like some others, we also had difficultly accessing the Wi-Fi, but in hindsight, it was great that we couldn't check our emails and the internet. Being disconnected from the outside world made the experience that much more special! Overall, our experience was wonderful. We'd love to go back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

What a terrific vacation. The condo was absolutely perfect. Super clean, spacious, stunning view from the balcony. The staff at Misiones del Cabo is top notch. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I felt extremely safe. Never a worry. The condo complex is about 1.5 miles from downtown cabo, but it easily accessible by the bus, if you don't choose to get a rental car. Bus fare (one way) was 10 pesos (about 80 cents, US). Cab ride is about $15, which you'll have to do after around 10 pm. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Enjoy!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

We returned to Lori's one bedroom apartment for a second time the latter part January and the month of February. As always, Misones and the apartment is a wonderful place to stay. Everything was great. This year we met wonderful people from both Canada and the United States and renewed friendships from last year. The apartment and its amenities, nearby restaurants, incredible views from the balcony and the view of the arch from nearby Mona Lisa is welcoming for all tourists like ourselves. In addtion, the apartment is so close to places like Costco, Walmart and the beautiful, world class marina at Cabo San Lucas. We can't say enough about the workers and the incredible job each do with maintaining the property. The grounds personnel are super friendly and so willing to help the guests - thank you. Jose at the desk is so helpful and friendly to all. A nice bonus each day was being able to get free papers from the desk. We enjoyed the Mexican day each Wednesday and Fish day each Friday at the pool bar. These social gatherings are a great way to meet people a few times a week. Thanks Lori for your superb help to us last year and again this year.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Recently my boyfriend and I stayed at this 1 bedroom condo and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was just the right size for two people. My favorite part was the balcony that connected the bedroom and living room. We had some great breakfasts there overlooking the rest of the property and the ocean. The rest of the unit was just as pictured and very comfortable. The property owner had some great and detailed notes about things to do and places to eat, which we appreciated. In particular, her recommendation to eat at Sunset da Mona Lisa was great. It has an incredible view. While we were there, the infinity pool was completely drained. Wasn't a problem really as we just used the other one. Also, we weren't able to use the internet from the condo and the wireless network was being powered by a generator only during daylight hours. Somewhat annoying, but it gave us an excuse to not check our email. Overall, the stay was very pleasant and I would recommend it to anyone needing a quiet, scenic getaway.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
Owner response: I'm so happy you had a nice trip and hope you come back soon. Just so you know Diana told me the internet issue was only for about a week and has been taken care of. The Infinity pool isn't ours so we don't have any control over that one but I am sure the new owners will want to get that up and running soon. Our HOA is meticulous about the upkeep of our pool and swim-up bar. We just spent $45,000 in renovations to the palapa bar. It looks great!

We chose to return to Cabo for a romantic getaway after having first visited Misiones back in November of 2010 in a timeshare. We fell in love with Cabo and specifically Misiones for its pristine, private snorkeling beach. Lori made our first experience in renting a condo through vrbo a wonderful one...she could not have been more helpful and accommodating in every aspect of our planning. When we arrived, we were very pleasantly surprised to find the condo was even more beautiful than the photos depict! It is so tastefully decorated and comfortable...there was nothing we lacked. We enjoyed the sunrise from the large balcony before we headed to the beach each day. (And we made good use of the beach chairs provided in the condo!) We shopped at WalMart on our first day there and bought groceries for breakfast and lunch. We decided to splurge on dinners out and were never disappointed...we highly recommend both La Fonda (for a quiet/intimate dinner in a beautiful setting) and Maria Corona (with a festive patio and very talented singers/guitarists to serenade you). Both are located in town, but off the main "touristy" road and both serve delicious Mexican food (the entrees ranged from about $12-$22). We also enjoyed several dinners at the Sunset Point Pizza and Wine Bar (above the Sunset Mona Lisa on the property) as well as at Puerta Vieja...it was nice to have those options conveniently on-site. Everything about our trip was perfect for us...we were looking for a very relaxing getaway and we got it!! For us, that meant 8+ hours at the beach each day to swim, search for sea shells, snooze, and snorkel. The variety of fish you can see within feet of the shore is amazing...we even spotted an octopus! We've been telling all our friends about our fantastic time and after seeing the photos from our trip, they want to visit Misiones, too! Thank you, Lori and Jim, for allowing us the perfect escape from our everyday lives of work and responsibilies to experience a little bit of paradise. We hope to return again VERY soon! Muchas gracias, Scott and KarenRecommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed here on spring break and the views and condo were amazing. Wonderful beaches, pools and incredible sunrises and sunsets. While it was an extremely, relaxing and romantic setting, the condo was also very family friendly. All activites (zip lining, snorkeling) close by for an active family.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed in this one bedroom apartment for the latter part of January and most of February. Wow!, the apartment is picture perfect in every sense of the word - decorations, amenities, hugh bedroom with full bathroom, equisitive dining room topped with a hugh balcony overlooking the beautiful pool and gardens. The view from the balcony is a 5 star plus. Added to the view each day is an incredible sunrise and regular sightings of the whales each day. As you can now judge, we loved the one bedroom apartment. The apartment is so well decorated and central to the magnificient views of the Sea and the beach near the apartment. Who could ask for more while on holiday. This area is so central to Cabo San Lucas and many quaint jaunts along the coast. Equally, the apartment is very near San Jose. Above all, we enjoyed the quietness of the place after experencing full days touring the areas around this pacific coast. What a beautiful area. We loved sitting on the incredible balcony each morning and evening, simply listening to the birds in the trees, viewing the scenes from the balcony, the lovely gardens and walkways around the property and keeping our eyes on the water for whale sightings. The owners of this one bedroom apartment are so nice and accommodating. They provide so much information to their guests and are very interested in providing only the best for their customers. We can't say enough about the entire personnel (desk people, ground keepers, security people). Everyone makes you feel at home. Kindness and hospitality is their trademark in spades. We loved the apartment and plan to go back next year. Great apartment, great sunrises, great people and super owners of this gem of an apartment.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

Myhusband and I were suppose to go to Cabo in May and due to the Swine Flu and the US Goverment notice not to go we have had to cancel our trip. Lori was so very helpful when we were making our reservations with helpful tips and she had connected us with her property manager. I can not say enough good things on how every detail was handled. Once we made our decision not to go to Mexico, Lori was very understanding with our cancellation. We look forward to planning another trip to Cabo sometime next year and will look up Lori and plan to stay at her condo. Even though we did not make it there I am sure that you will love working with Lori and Dianna. We are sorry we had to miss this trip. Look forward to next year!!Did you find this review helpful? Owner info
Year Purchased: 2006
About the owner: Our family traveled to Mexico often and had some incredible vacations. We enjoyed visiting many different Mexican cities, and then we happened upon Cabo San Lucas. There was just something magical here. We found ourselves being disappointed in other vacation spots and returning to Cabo more and more often.
Why the Owner Chose Misiones del Cabo:
We purchased our first vacation condo at Misiones del Cabo in 2004. This turned out to be the perfect location! Misiones is only about 3 miles from downtown Cabo and has an awesome view of Land’s End. The resort had all the amenities we were looking for with two beautiful pools with swim up bars, tennis courts, and a gorgeous private beach with great snorkeling. We loved it so much two years later we purchased a second condo.
Cabo is a place that we hope to call our permanent home one day.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
One of my favorite times in this magical place is waking up to the sun rise and having coffee on the balcony, looking out at an ocean view that is as serene as looking at Heaven itself. Sometimes I catch the whales playing in the distance and I think they are as happy as I am to be here!
